I loved staying here. My room was a fantastic corner unit on the 4th floor with a big balcony and a view of the Hollywood sign (from the balcony). The hotel was top-notch, super clean, with a chic-but-not-pretentious feel and a perfect rooftop pool and bar to top it all off. Nice ground-level lobby/lounge bar as well. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful snd staff was wonderful! Pool and area were amazing and not overly trendy. Nightclub was fun and a nice treat.

This hotel ruined the beginning of our vacation,. They don't honor 4 pm check in time nor do they give you the room you reserve. Due to an early flight we arrived at noon & the staff kindly stored our luggage & stated they would call us when the room was ready. We had zero expectation of getting a room prior to 4 pm check in time. We had lunch at rooftop restaurant & walked around hollywood blvd. At 4:09 pm we approached the desk to get our key card to our room & get settled in. I could see the panic in the front desk agents face as she typed away for far too long. Finally after 10 -15 minutes she nonchalantly tells us that an elite status member is pending checking out of our room & that it wouldn't be ready until he checked out & room was cleaned (it's around 4:20 pm at this point) she gives us two drink vouchers as if that will make up for my room not being available. I insisted on a room & she annoyingly passes me a key card & when we get to the room it has no patio terrace so I call downstairs & explain that we reserved a 1 king +patio room. I was told they would call me when the room we booked was ready and well after 5 pm we were called & had to go move luggage from current room to new room. We were never given the room we actually reserved instead we were given a 2 queen ADA accessible room with a patio. At 5 pm on a Tuesday all the pool loungers were taken so we had to wait for someone to leave. You're not guaranteed a room at 4 pm nor the actual type of room

Traveled with my wife for our anniversary. Room was immaculate and spacious. Staff provided top notch service. Views from the rooftop bar/pool area were pleasant. Small but mighty gym with quality equipment. Complimentary social hours (wine/beer/snacks/coffee). The entire hotel ambiance is ideal for a couple or a small group of friends, or even a small family. Definitely on the more upscale luxury side. Location is perfect, just far enough away from the busy/noisy Hollywood blvd, but still walkable to TCL/Dolby/Pantages and everything in between. Lots of restaurants nearby. Less than 10 min walk to Trader Joe’s/Bristol Farms. 20 min walk to Target. Only issues were the weak shower water pressure and the noise level from surrounding bars/clubs esp on Fridays and Saturday nights. Other than that, our stay was perfect. 10/10 would stay here again.

Excellent hotel ambient, clean, tidy. Reflects old Hollywood glam. The hotel is excellent, however there's a night club close by that created noise all night

We checked in on a Tuesday and were able to experience the hotel’s weekly Tuesday jazz night with great food and drink offerings at a set price. The mood was relaxed but fun and the entertainment exceeded our expectations. It was a great night and a memorable start to our short stay in LA. We would happily both recommend and return to The Hollywood Grande!

The hotel is very nice. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I recommend to have a drink in the rooftop and enjoy the view.

It was clean, I pretty and lots of things To do. Loved it.

I’ve stayed here before, but this visit confirmed I won’t be returning. The hallways and interior rooms smell heavily of moisture, and our first room was so bad it was hard to breathe—even with a dehumidifier running. Looking back, I should have paid closer attention to reviews because it seems like mold is a common issue here, which is honestly concerning. We ended up switching rooms three times. The second room initially seemed better, but at 4am I discovered the shower had no showerhead—just a pipe spraying water. Then the TV didn’t work, and staff couldn’t fix it, so we had to pack up and move again. That same room was also right by the kitchen and facing construction, so it was noisy and constantly smelled like food. After all the inconvenience and wasted time (while I was here for work and just trying to rest), I asked for a late checkout and was denied, despite seeing availability online. At the end of the day, the price makes sense—but not in a good way. Between the smell, maintenance issues, noise, and multiple room changes, I’d strongly recommend staying elsewhere
