I’ve been here a few times, it’s just so lovely! The rooftop / highlight room is always so peaceful, even though it was close this time for some event. Luxurious feel, AMAZING staff, and fun exiting views over Hollywood! Nothing bad to say about it.

Location near Hollywood walk of fame. Breakfast , pool bar area. Clean Rough area. Especially at night. Can get noisy late evening. The room I booked was a silver balcony city view. I’ll post a photo. Nothing like the photos or description on here or their site. I did complain and said all balcony rooms on the third floor! Supposed to be high floor! I was upgraded to 9th floor Small room hardly walk round the bed. Nowhere to hang towels. No proper cups to make drinks. No kettle. Very disappointing

To add insult to injury, we returned to our room only to find the $5 coffee was barely lukewarm. We paid for coffee and got cold disappointment with a side of attitude. She was, without question, the least hospitable person we encountered during our entire visit. This kind of interaction erases the goodwill built by your other staff. I'd encourage management to address both the product quality and the customer service standards at the lobby coffee station. Adding to our frustration, WiFi was inaccessible for the duration of our stay and the issue was never resolved . While the hotel itself is beautiful and most of the staff were genuinely warm and professional, the combination of these unresolved issues left us underwhelmed. This simply did not meet the standard we expect from a 4-star property, and regrettably, it's unlikely we would return. We hope this feedback helps management raise the bar — because the hotel itself deserves better than this.

It had a very comfortable bed and the room was a nice corner balcony. Don't plan on a quiet trip for the weekend here with the club right next door but it didn't bother us.

Very clean and modern, really nice restaurant and pool area. Rooms and really big This is a party hotel. We have stayed here for three nights and there is constant deep base music every single night. The name should not be “dream” because you would need to be able to sleep to make that happen.

Location and cleanliness

Watch out for the whopping $45 facility fee they tack on and factor that into the price. Like the hotel and have stayed there often....but this added fee will make me think twice before I book again.

We thoroughly enjoyed this property! Great location with valet parking, which made life a lot easier. Tao Restaurant was next door so that was great for it date night. The room was comfortable and the wood accents were beautiful. The water pressure was great in the shower and it was big enough for two which made it roomie. The upstairs restaurant and lounge with pool was a plus, although he didn’t use the pool a lot of people did. We will be back!

The rooms were new and clean. A la cart breakfast at the roof was good. The rooms could be more travel friendly e.g. luggage rack. Even though the rooptop had amazing view it closed at 7 pm.

Very nice, vibey, hotel in the heart of Hollywood. Great view of Hollywood sign. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and theaters. Very close to Pantages and Fonda. The room, itself, was by far the smallest I've ever stayed in. Literally, only big enough for a king size bed. Couldn't really sit anywhere or watch TV from bed (Bed parallel to TV). The cost is fairly high at $400. Not sure I'd stay here again, unless it was a quick trip, and only needing place to sleep.

Great experience. Just one front desk guy was a jerk but the rest of the staff was amazing. Autumn the manager customer service outstanding. The room was great the roof top5 stars. Everything was walking distance. I’ll stay there again.

Room was dirty, carpet was filthy with cigarette burns. Furniture was dirty and torn. Walls had patches painted in different colors. Room was above a nightclub which had pounding bass until 2am. Room looked nothing like the picture advertised. Overall a terrible experience, would not recommend.

I had to change twice my room, the first one that carpet was all wet, near a wall, not sure where the water was coming from, the staff took care of me right away but never asked what part of the carpet, they were worry about us not leaving any trash behind as is they were going to give the room away again. The second room smelled marijuana and the third one was good. The bar was close all day Saturday.

Although it was just a quick overnight stay, we really enjoyed it. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but they’re comfortable and cozy. Overall, it had a lovely atmosphere—perfect for a quaint, relaxing stay.

Overall very nice, as a business traveler it was disappointing to have such terrible wifi signal at the location. Also, was sold on view of Hollywood sign which was true if you climbed on bed and zoomed in with phone camera.

Our room facing Hollywood Blvd, the noise level was unacceptable. Reception staff told us the noise will last till 3am on every weekend, we asked to put on ear plug instead (already placed in the room). Think they have known the issue, and always handle like this. We are a family with 2 kids, we asked to move room. However, no more twin bed room available on other side, so they gave us 2 king size room to sleep on the 1st night, the 2nd & 3rd nights they only able to move us to the same room facing Hollywood blvd, only 2 floor higher. Noise was still on, but in a lower level, maybe not on weekend. Besides, not recommend to stay in Hollywood area, surrounding is old, many homeless people, CD scammer etc., not safe to go out at night. 100% not suitable for family traveller.

Had to switch rooms due to hotel.com room description. The manager was extremely accommodating. The staff was very nice and the food was good and not too pricey. The only downside is the area, homeless people everywhere and the didn't seem to be the safest at night. The room price for the area is not worth it.

There were almost clean, but the bedroom was awkward. Open up a shower door to the glass mirror right behind it. If I opened it up all the way it would have broke the glass mirror I think you guys are trying to set somebody up for breaking your own mirror

my husband and I really loved the modern feel of the property. The only thing I would critique is the lack of a full bar and robes in the room. I had to call down and get my robes which was a bit of an inconvenience because we thought it came with the room however, other than that, everyone was pleasant. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. We loved the robots bringing our delivery items. Just keep in mind that the hidden fees are the incidentals such as the resort fee per person.

It was okay, no fridge in the room, no water bottles.

Room was clean when we arrived, the housekeeping did an ok job, left cups and wine glasses in the room from the first night we were there for 2 days. Left enough towels. The pool rooftop bar was closed for an entire day for a filming crew which we were not aware of that left us disappointed. The noise level was terrible one of the nights, the music from a local bar or club can be heard loud and clear from our 4 floor room until 2am. The front desk staff was fantastic and helpful. It would be nice if the 2 bars would be open past 7pm

Absolutely LOVE this hotel and the surrounding area! Everywhere I needed to go was within walking distance and the staff were all so kind and helpful.

It will be nice to have a real refrigerator and a microwave in the room for the amount of money that you have to pay to stay there a night.

Make doors on toilets great again. Stay here if you want to hear every single thing coming out of your roommate.

Service & Communication: Despite six email exchanges confirming a pre-arranged birthday setup, nothing was in place upon arrival. There was no accountability or attempt to remedy the situation. The hotel later left melted chocolate-covered strawberries in the room on a day spent entirely off-property — an unrequested substitution that was nonetheless charged to the bill. Room Quality: The carpet showed visible staining, and the advertised balcony upgrade amounted to a third-floor view of rooftop HVAC units on adjacent buildings. Safety & Environment: Common areas — including the lobby, entrance, and rooftop pool — were repeatedly occupied by non-guests whose loud and discourteous behavior made the environment feel unwelcoming and unsafe. As a frequent business traveler, this property fell well short of what a 4-star rating should represent. Significant improvements to communication, room maintenance, and guest management are needed before I could recommend it.

Not 4 star worthy. Besides the bathroom, the room did not reflect the photos on the website. It felt dingy and the floor in the elevator was dirty with an old. We stayed here with our 4 year old and there was issues with the heat in the room and I complained twice about it and not once did they offer to switch us to another room. We also paid for valet up front which I’ve never heard of at hotel. We came from the Beverly Hilton before this stay which was superb so I wish we had just extended our stay there for a 4th night.

I love the modernization of the whole hotel. Plus it was in a convenient location during the All Star weekend festivities. I’ll definitely would be staying here again.

After raising the issue, I was moved again, this time into a Silver “balcony” room, which is not a true balcony. It is standing-room only with a sliding door and no usable outdoor space. This room is clearly a lower category and lower price point than what I originally paid for. My booked one bedroom suite had evidently been given away. As compensation, the hotel offered free breakfast. However, breakfast is included at this silver room’s advertised rate, so this did not offset the downgrade or price difference. Additional issues: • Rooms feel dated and not aligned with the price charged. • No ice machines on any floor. Ice must be requested and takes time to arrive. • Morning coffee was cold. • Breakfast wait time was quoted at 45 minutes with a very limited menu. Skipped it. • Front desk service was inconsistent and dismissive. Positives: • Rooftop bar was excellent with good staff. • Elevators were fast. • Valet staff was courteous, though valet is $65 per night. • Convenient location near the Pantages Theatre. Overall, the hotel did not honor the room booked or the price paid. I would not stay here again

Room was nice and clean. Roof too pool was beautiful but clearly the management is misogynistic. Female servers were in bikinis and males were in long shorts and a collared shirt. I’m sure the women have to be a certain size, weight, body type and age. I’m surprised they haven’t been sued for discrimination. I would expect more from a “progressive” city. A total exploitation of women. Disgusting. Stay somewhere that people are valued for their merits and not looks.

They nickel and dime you for everything and it's very noisy in the evenings from the bar downstairs. I wondered why earplugs were provided in your room... Now I know. The staff was OK. The valet text message system has some kinks to be worked out. It's better to go down and see valet. I called down to the desk and they did not relay the message to valet so I still had to wait on my car.

Checkin was clunky and valet parking is a whole separate checkin experience, complete with xeroxed form to fill out. Valet billed in advance for multiple days. Bit of a pain after a long travel day. Lobby is nice and has chill places. I couldn't go to the roof pool at 7pm, not sure why and the front desk wasn't sure either. Rooms are a pretty but long in the tooth remodel that's a bit too clever - designer sockets that can't fit two plugs; hdmi socket dangling behind the TV, weird "coffee foam" machine. Took a good few minutes to figure out how to turn all the lights out to go to sleep. It's a decent stay and I may stay again when prices are good, but I prefer the more stylistically intact period spots.

I, personally, am not a fan of Los Angeles but if I ever visit again, I would stay here. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, attentive, and just overall pleasant. The hotel itself is next to Tao, but there are plenty of other culinary choices at walking distance. Everything was pristine from the moment you enter the lobby.

The only thing was the bathroom in the room….great for a couple but not a girls trip. lol I had to go to the lobby to use number 2. Why is it glass walls??? But besides that it was great!

This was our 3rd time at this hotel, understanding it was busy weekend they should still try to give you the same service as other guests. Even though calling to asked for moving our check in from 4pm which doesn’t make sense to 3pm which is the universal check in hotels, saying yes when we got there , they did not honer it, on top of it passed 4pm they decided to give us a room at the 3rd floor from the higher floor I booked my room which literally couldn’t even open both curtains on 2 side of the room because one was so close to the building next door which anyone could see in our room and the other side next to a busy parking lot in Hollywood which again can see in our room. On top of that when we called to get a late checkout the next morning they wouldn’t accommodate that either saying they are fully booked, even though they wouldn’t accommodate our 1 hour check in early when they gave us the same excuse from the night before saying everyone asked for the late checkout and that’s why they are running late cleaning the rooms!!!!

The front desk manager by name Jonathan has zero customer services and he made sure i will not be coming back again to stay at the dreams as long as he still works there .

I was traveling w my best friend, the room was nice but the shower was literally completely made of glass on all sides and was just a glass window into the bedroom with a see through curtain… so that was awkward. The water pressure was AWFUL- it was hard to get the shampoo and conditioner out of my hair. There was no water in the room or ice machine - you had to use the iPad to order the ice- water wasn’t available. The bed was comfortable- the lighting in the room wasn’t great. The shower was also difficult to figure out. Valet (only parking available) was $65 a night.

This place is amazing. Room was top-notch and the location was perfect for sightseeing and nightlife. This will be our new go-to whenever we’re on the left coast.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The staff was very kind and accommodating and the amenities were wonderful. The only downside was that they did not have smart TV's so we were not able to watch Netflix while we were in the hotel room. Not a super big deal and besides that, everything else was great. We would definitely stay here again.

My stay was really a dream l had an amazing experience and the staff was fantastic and very helpful.

We had an excellent staycation at The Dream. Tons of food and convenience in the area, very attentive and friendly staff, and an overall "killer vibe". Top of mind is the food and service that we received at the rooftop terrace restaurant which really kicked off our stay in style. It's our new "go to" for local getaways.

Upon arrival our room was 87 degrees, after notifying the front desk they sent an engineer who was unable to fix the AC. They suggested us another room which we went to with the front seat receptionist; where that room too was 87 degrees. The rooms never cooled off. We booked a Platinum King Suite and had to downgrade to a single king room which was a huge difference and experience than which we planned for my Husband’s birthday weekend. They did notice to upgrade or make any concessions to accommodate us to make us better or whole of what we booked. The place is called Dream but it was short of. The amenities were not but that was outside of our room. We wanted to have just as nice of a room as the rest of the property.

Avoid like the plague if you actually want to sleep. We booked this hotel to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. There is music with the bass pounding until 0630 each day. I could literally hear every lyric of every song! I told the staff as we checked out and they literally could’nt care less. We had no sleep. It was the start of a drive to San Francisco and put us on a back foot to start. We are tired beyond belief and the lack of sleep caused so much stress it has made our celebration into something awful. Do not stay here unless you want to stay awake all night.

It was really great! my husband and I were there for the weekend to see a concert. It in a fun popular area. The hotel is beautiful, clean, great food, fun. There is a club next door which is loud but just ask for a room on the other side of the hotel, unless you want to go out. SHOUT OUT to the staff and Daniel at the front desk who changed rooms for us, going above and beyond in a fully booked hotel. it is close to a bunch of stuff. We walked back from the Hollywood Palladium. Awesome!

Upon checking out, I'm told it would take 3-5 business days for it to be put back onto my card.... I want it back in the same 3-5 seconds it took to take it... That discrepancy is non-existent with Cash. So I'm not going to go have lunch at the Chinese food spot on highland that I love.... They're so fast to take it n even slower to return it. And to top it off, I'm told that I'll only be receiving $100 back because of an "amenities" fee that I don't recall being mentioned anywhere n not by anyone prior, for their check-in wine, (which I had none of), the use of their gym, rooftop n pool (which was leaking down into the 9th floor hallway by my room) and the things they provide in your room...... Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't all that be included in those hefty inexpensive rooms rates ?? Good thing my friend didn't make it... I was going to help them out with the pricey valet fee with the deposit also... Then what would've happened ? It's a literal form of monetary rape. Cash is King.

Given the sketchy nature of the surrounding Hollywood area, this was a nice, safe oasis to stay in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooftop restaurant was lovely, but we found the breakfast menu rather limited. The coffee was not hot ad tasted funny, No bagels and lox!

Was perfect from the moment we walked through the door. We were greeted by a lovely team, checked in, offered wine and bubbly. Lunch on the rooftop by the pool. Rooms beautiful. Staff attentive. Will return.

First time in LA and Dream gave me everything Hollywood had to offer. Literally within the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Lots to do as soon as you exit the building. Plenty to do within the building. Pricey, but worth it.

The hotel was really clean. The staff was amazing. I only deduct one star because of the weekend night. You will be woken up by all of the bars and their music at 2am. There are a lot of them nearby. They do leave you complementary earplugs to help combat this but I can't also with those in. All the noise finally stopped by 4am. If you're staying during the week, you're going to love it. But if you're going to try and sleep throughout a weekend day, you have been warned.

Poor customer service. Reservation line doesn’t answer their line, front desk can’t help you. No one listened or resolved my issue or offered an apology for lack of communication from hotel employees. Also, room very small, with no ventilation. It’s like you’re in a box. No fab vent in bathroom either.

First of all, all the staff were really awesome, very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and quiet, and very luxurious. However, the best feature of all is the rooftop of course. I went there during the day and it was amazing, and I understand that at night is even better. I would really recommend this hotel.

The Dream Hotel by Hyatt in Hollywood exceeded my expectations! From the moment we arrived, the valet staff was welcoming, and the front desk team set the tone with exceptional service—including complimentary glasses of wine. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, featuring spacious bathrooms and an impressive, oversized shower. The attention to detail and warm hospitality made our stay truly enjoyable. This will definitely be my go-to hotel whenever I visit Hollywood!

The website said they had 24 hour room service. That’s partly why I chose this hotel. That was falsely advertised. It really made me angry.

The property itself was great. The amount of fees that are being charged at these hotels are crazy ridiculous. There's a resort fee, a daily facility fee, a daily facility fee for California and then there's just a FEE---some random amount that is being charged.

Overall a beautiful facility with great staff. Unfortunately, they are remolding the on property restaurant and my balcony was missing a chair.

The hotel itself was great! When we checked in Andre was a huge help since my partner is a light sleeper he gave us a different room that wasn’t too noisy. It was walking distance from many great restaurants!

This property does not offer bell man service. When I pulled up to valet I was told that I had to unload my own bags and was provided with a cart. When I inquired at the front desk, I was told yes you do not have a bowel service.

Whenever I visit California I only stay at this property. The staff is very kind and super professional. Hotel room very clean and have everything that you can ask for.

Very nice and clean. The lobby was really cool looking and stylish. Staff was very friendly and the room was really above expectations.

This hotel is lovely however they have a club on the roof and the music was so loud on both days - we didn’t sleep until the music ended at around 2am….. then one night all our lights came on in the room at 4am and a door opened…. They said they had checked the cameras and no one came in!!! Well the lights didn’t turn themselves on

The staff was Awesome!! I loved checking in & being offered a complimentary glass of champagne or wine. The rooftop bar & restaurant had great food & service. We would definitely stay there again! Carlos Customer Service was Five Stars!!

Nice hotel in the middle of nightlife.

The first one was on 3rd level and in my opinion better because it had a larger bathroom standard living room and standard size bedroom with a wrap around corner balcony. The second time we got top floor suite which was larger but the bathroom was tiny and bedroom was smaller but larger living room. The property is well kept, great location for broadway ahows, several rooftop bars and restaurant and it is directly next door to Tao- amazing food Roof top pool has great views and turns to club at night so very fun.

The decor was nice. The property was very pricey for what you get and there were many up charges and charges after we checked out. I booked two rooms; and will not use this property again.

Should advertise parking fees. Surprised at arrival was not good.

Amazing hotel. Definitely a party hotel so if you like to party stay here. Please don’t touch the bar in your room, you al be charged. We were charged for a wine that my husband picked up. I think one of the staff drank it but it wasn’t us. We tried getting our money back and they denied it. That sucked.
