21c Museum Hotel Lexington

Gorgeous hotel in a fantastic part of downtown Louisville. The art museum was really special. And all kinds of wonderful restaurants within walking distance.

Cool experience to stay in an old bank, I thought there would be more artwork. Room was clean, it was nice they had a cocktail bar.

Great location. Fun decor. Rooms small but bathroom big… everything clean.

Appropriate lotions and soaps.

Location Fitness center- only one treadmill worked correctly and no mats for stretching

The location of 21C Lexington is superb. It is super convenient to wonderful restaurants, bars and other amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the close proximity to the Sat. morning farmer's market during our stay and had a leisurely walk to a great restaurant (Corto Lima) for dinner. It is a slight disappointment that the hotel's restaurant/bar area was closed while were there. They do have a temporary bar set up in the lobby, but it is a poor stand-in for the normal offerings of a 21C establishment. The room was comfortable and well- appointed, but the A/C unit was very loud.

It was cool to have all the art in the lobby. The room was large and mostly clean -- but there was some gunk on the shower curtain and several areas needed dusting. But the service could have been more professional. I know it was slow - but several times when we were in the lobby the staff was just scrolling their phones. Three times when we walked in the door the two men at the doors (valets, I think) did not even look up from their phones. At check out no one asked about our stay -- they barely made eye contact as they took our keys and printed our receipt. There also was not much to do in the area. (Not the hotels fault -- but worth knowing if you are deciding if you should book a less expensive room that is not downtown)

Valet parking was wonderful. The front desk staff was wonderful. The room was clean.

Loved the heated bathroom floors!

The museum is awesome! Saturday night downtown was wild!!

Location and rooms modern Nothing major shower leaked a little

This hotel is in a good location close to downtown attractions. This hotel was not as advertised. We later learned it has been sold to the Marriott. The restaurant and bar were closed, changing the whole atmosphere we had previously enjoyed. The whole place was desolate and appeared to be undergoing renovations. No one advised us of the status of the changes being made prior to our arrival. The staff informed us we would be better off to stay elsewhere, which is what we did.

Rooms were small beds were hard very humid air conditioner ran nonstop to keep the humidity and heat down currently doing construction so there was no restaurant bar in the museum was half full of art

Perfect location downtown Lexington. Easy to walk to restaurant and bars. The artwork on display was amazing. Gives the hotel A very upscale feel.

Loved the restroom. So clean and roomy and comfortable. Room very clean.

I love 21 c hotels. The art installations are beautiful and moving. The staff were welcoming and kind. The downtown location is great-it’s convenient and very walkable. The location is great, however, the windows in the building are not proper city windows that deaden sound. There were a shocking number of motorcycles and loud cars through the night. I lived next to the BQE highway in NYC for years and never did it sound as loud as the vehicles passing through here. The room could have been cleaner as well. The phone had clearly not been cleaned in a long time, the nightstand was so dusty it made me feel like the rest of the room wasn’t as clean as it appeared.
