My hotel room was clean, but the shower was rusted. I was on the third floor, and my room had no odor, but as soon as I stepped into the hallway, the whole floor smelled of vomit. It was a very pungent odor all down the whole floor. Night front desk was there, but morning I couldn’t check out because no one at the front desk for over 30 minutes. I ended up leaving a note at the desk.

Terrible room, staff, and property. Nothing like the pictures shown online. I’ve never been to a more disgusting property, especially for the price. It looks like crimes were committed in the room. All the furniture was ripped and worn out and bodily fluids were found around the room. Absolutely abhorrent. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. We immediately tried to cancel after we saw the room and had to book at another property. The hotel refuses to refund us, so we have to do a chargeback. Worst experience ever.

The location When I arrived the room was not clean. The sheets did not look like they had been changed from previous customer. When I went to the front desk the clerk told me he would give me new sheets and I could change the bed.

The room itself was okay and was clean. Wifi sucked with a very poor signal. No TV channel guide and the night guy was no help. No local stations could be found. The outside of the building was poorly maintained. People left their trash in the parking lot but staff doesn't get rid of it. I hate people who leave trash in a parking lot but staff not getting rid of it makes it worse. Trash cans outside the building were overflowing and needed emptied. They weren't emptied in the 2+ days I was there. Pool was closed. The free breakfast was okay and the coffee was good. I did not like that I was asked to pay a "security deposit" on check in. That's not the norm. I refused to let it be put on my card after the clerk said it would take up to a week after my check out for it to be refunded. I gave them cash and got it back when I checked out. The man on duty when I arrived was very nice.. The guys after him not so much. For sure not more than a 2 star motel.

The first room smelled terrible. There were holes in the wall. The fire alarm was missing just wires hanging. They moved us to another room. The sheets in the 2nd room were soiled. For our safety we asked for a refund and said we would need to stay elsewhere. They were uncooperative. Thankful Expedia helped us out.

The rooms were very spacious and clean. The common areas were clean. Most of the staff was very kind. The property itself was kind of old and outdated and the pool was not open when we were there and that was one of the reasons we selected that hotel. The breakfast was great one day we were there but the second day the sausages were raw and my daughter ate a piece of it before we realized.

Property is on Hotel plaza surrounded by several others. Clean room, bed not awful and it was mostly quite which is what I needed for my stay. The weather changed from 80 to 34 and there was plenty of hot water for the morning shower. I would stay again.

How this even has 2 and a half stars on here is beyond me. This hotel doesn't even deserve a WHOLE one star. This place is filthy. First, i didn't even get the 2 queen beds I requested. Next, everything was dirty, moldy, and rusted. There was a water leak that we were unaware of that made my friend slip. Enriched was so unpleasant.

Limited dining options nearby on the hotel’s side of I-35E, with most choices being sports bars (not ideal when traveling with a child). Indoor pool was closed/out of order during the stay (according to other reviews it has been for a while now and still not disclosed on the site) Room had a persistent musty odor and noticeable dust on closer inspection. Electrical outlets were worn/loose and plugs would not stay in place. Door keycard reader/hardware felt loose. Maintenance entered the room after check-in without prior notice for a non-emergency issue (showerhead), and this was not communicated at check-in. Frequent marijuana odor in/around the parking lot; observed smoke coming from a nearby room window. The total charge ended up higher than the final price shown on Booking.com.

The entire building felt condemned, and we were afraid of being assaulted in the parking lot. Screens were pulled off the windows and laying on the ground outside. I almost got tetnis from a lamp that had more rust than chrome. The one chair looked pulled from a dumpster and badly worn. There was a bucket to catch the leak in the middle of the hallway on the first floor, and when we asked for an extra pillow and blankets, they gave us a pile of pillow cases. We were seriously concerned about black mold in the walls and bathroom. We couldn't allow our children to stay there, we were that concerned for their safety. We left within about 10 minutes of checking in, with no refund for any of the days we canceled.

Second, I was given 1 card for a three-person reservation - I later asked for more. But the worst thing of all is there was a number of yogurts in the fridge which expired on January 1st, and the date I found them was January 9th! I reported this to the desk receptionist, who confirmed no manager on duty, and he did not seem very apologetic, nor did he certainly did not rush to deal with the issue. Not impressed

The whole building smelled like weed. There was A LOT of people from the outside stopping at one specific one. I killed a roach in our room and when I called to check on a pair of shoes that I am sure were left in our room he rudely said there was nothing and if it was left it was probably trashed and hung up. When we walked in to check in the staff were in the lobby playing dominoes. As soon as we went into the room it smelled like an atrocious amounts of weed and cigarettes, impossible to be in. The restroom had a significant large hole on the ceiling that was leaking right on top of the toilet. We had asked for another room and the owner said they didn’t have any other rooms available, but online it said they had 5 left? He told the janitor to just clean it and it will be “fixed”. The shower walls had black mold and the tub was disgusting. This is the worst hotel we have ever been in, we checked out as soon as we could and stayed at a different hotel.Wouldn’t recommend it.

I was solo on this trip but had a 2 queen room. Rolled back the bedspread to find uncomfortable stains on the sheets. Tried other bed at least the stains looked older. The shower wall had screws sticking out & later a found the grab bar that had been pulled off & laid in the corner. Staff was nice to keep from a one Star. Great location but it has several other hotels very close. Had a great stay next door the next night.

The entire stay was horrible. The pool wasn’t available when walk in the hotel it was entirely hot there wasn’t any hot water n the tub I called the front desk from my cell phone bc the room phone didn’t work. After talking to the front desk they told me that they would get maintenance to turn the water up. The water never came up hot. Came down the second day n the Lobby smelled completely like weed. This has been on of the most horrible experiences ever.

The room itself was fine. Comfortable, relatively clean. BUT, when I checked in, I wasn't greeted - just "ID please." Not very friendly. No info given about amenities or location of anything in the hotel. The first morning, went down for breakfast at 6:15a (scheduled to start at 6:00a), and it wasn't ready. The staff seemed surprised we wanted to eat. It got worse. There were no bowls for the cereal and no orange juice was available. I asked my dad to check later when he went down, and still no. We both asked about the deficiencies, and the staff said something about "the manager forget to order stuff." The next morning, the same, except now the toasted didn't even work, so we couldn't have bagels or toast either. The staff person did come fix the toaster after I complained, again. We were not impressed. Upon check-out the staff member offered us water for the road, at no charge, which WAS nice. But honestly, the damage was already done. We felt we had been bait-and-switched! Breakfast was advertised, but only barely provided. We definitely won't ever come back, and would not recommend.

Very loud hallways until after 3am and that included the staff talking loudly in the hall. Also very loud from the mall directly behind the hotel. However, the worst part about this hotel is that they fraudulently charged my credit card for a "service fee" I was not made aware of and never informed it was a thing. Was told there would be a $50 incidentals fee charged to my card, but would be refunded after we checked out. Turns out they charged my card $61.11. I called to ask why I was charge and they said they extra $11.11 was a service fee. I demanded that money back and the hotel has not refunded it as of yet, nor the $50 incidentals charge. I have also had to file a dispute with my credit card company.

Terrible smell in the room, the smell was like old wet carpet that it wasn't dry properly. Shower will make Terrible noise when turned on. Bed sheets didn't feel cleaned yuck. Floor where badly clean they even felt sticky. When undoing the bed my daughter found a nasty dirty tissue paper underneath the bed sheets. Terrible. I was about to stay at the property this past weekend and the room was in terrible condition, and after promptly going down right after check in and asking for a refund so I can get ready for a function, they denied even after the condition of the terrible condition of the room, telling me I would have to contact who I booked with and ignoring their calls for over an hour.

Upon check-in, i was charged additional fees. My family checked into the room and found a large sticky substance on the carpet. We found the refrigerator in our room did not seal properly and the items did not stay cold. Our shower had a hand rail that was very loose and coming off the wall. The AC unit was not very cold despite the temperature setting.

This is our 2nd stay here. First stay a few weeks ago was alright. Staff is friendly. This stay wasnt great. The first room we were given had clothes on the bed so it was occupied. The 2nd room the door didn’t actually lock when we left. You could just push the door open. The 3rd room had a wet spot on bedsheets when i pulled the comforter back. The front desk gave us new sheets which was definitely appreciated but i asked for a prorated credit and was told that could not be done. The side glass door entrance is broken and hanging off the hinges. The pool was closed both times. The breakfast is the same eggs and sausages every day. The pan of sausages was in the microwave this morning so i put it in the serving tray. Theres not much variety. Plain bagel, plain bread, nasty sausage. We will not stay here again.

Once I got to the room, the issues only got worse. The furniture was old and clearly hadn't been updated or well-maintained since the hotel opened. The bathroom had visible mold from the sink to the tub, which is both disgusting and unacceptable. On top of that, there was a bad, lingering smell in the room that I couldn’t get rid of no matter what I did. I sprayed the room down and tried to turn the air on and it only got worse. Not sure if the filters been changed at all. To make matters worse, the sheets and pillowcases were dirty, and it was clear they hadn't been properly cleaned. I felt uncomfortable and unsafe during my entire stay, and I couldn’t wait to check out. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I feel like my money was completely wasted. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I’ll definitely never stay here again. I am so upset I wasted money on this hotel. I could not convince myself to stay at this property causing me to leave earlier than expected.

The doors on the exterior of the property didn’t lock to get into the building so anyone could come in from the side doors. The entire building including our room had a bad smell. There was no smoke detectors in our room but the wires for it were exposed. It may have “looked” clean but it didn’t feel clean at all. Everything was very dated.

Clunky sounding elevator, door dragged on tile floor, top lock was broken off, toilet seat wasn’t clean, rip at end of sheet, curtains had rips, sun-blocking curtain wasn’t installed but rather was leaning against the wall (hazard for our toddler!), a/c was wasn’t working properly all night, breakfast was included but nobody was refilling items or keeping it clean, stains all over dining room carpet, none of the tables were cleaned off after use, and finally, they required a $50 deposit which I’m afraid they’re going to keep because of the tears that were already present in our room. There were no bugs visible but it’s definitely past its prime and hasn’t had good upkeep. Overpriced for what you get. $140 was too much for this place.

When I made the reservation a whole month in advance online, I also called the hotel to make sure there was an accessible handicapped walk-in shower. I was told there was and it would be no problem. When we arrived we going to be given a tub/shower combo. I said "no", we had requested a walk-in shower. We were told we had to wait to have it cleaned (it was 5:50p when we arrived)!! We were charged $50 for incidentals upon check-in and told if there was not any at the end of our stay, we'd get that back. In checking our account today (3 days after our return) I find we were charged the whole amount to include the $50!!! I tried calling the hotel and it doesn't even ring!! What's going on!??!! I expect to get my $50 back!!

When we got to the property the scent that was filling the air was very strong and unpleasant. Our NON-Smoking room smelt like it had been smoked in. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable which is funny since this was a comfort inn. The TV channels didn't match what was in the guide/channel label. On check-out the scent was strong again and hard to stand.

Property was dirty outside lights not working which makes it unsafe when walking in the hotel people were smoking marihuana in the building front desk clerk was in a horrible mood and has extremely bad customer service we could not stay in the hotel and check out we walked in the room and it smelled horrible restroom look like it had not been clean from previous use the trashcan still had trash

Smelly hallway and inside of the room. Spider web in the top of corner of the room. Bathtub was not cleaned enough so I felt don’t want to wash. Lots of hair on the bed. I wouldn’t suggest you to stay in this hotel.

The staff were very friendly - however we chose this hotel specifically for the heated indoor pool and hot tub however both were cold. Found out the heater was broken and had been for a while, No breakfast coffee brewed 2 of 6 days, no forks at breakfast 2 of 6 days, i've never stayed at a hotel where the front desk person also fixed breakfast, handicap shower seat hanging by screws, milk for breakfast was in an unsealed picture, only decaffe coffee for in room coffee maker, TV service down all one day,

I had an issue where i had to leave early because of a family emergency, and it interrupted my stay. The front desk manager understood and processed refund. I would stay again.

The young man who checked us in was very polite and nice. When we got in the room it was “swampy” as my husband said. I just sat and played on my phone for a while and we cooled off but the more I unpacked and looked around I realized most of the metal surfaces were rusted, there’s a questionable residue on the curtain Hubby said possibly vomit, my brain thought the worst, yuk. There’s broken lampshades, broken framed artwork. It’s to late to cancel and go somewhere else. We’re just trying to get through the night. I would not stay here again. I will say the bathroom was clean. My shower was hot, the bed was soft and the ac worked.

Found mold on the ceiling over the shower. Exposed wires where the fire/smoke detectors should be. The room had a distinct smell that was not fresh linen. Had a week booked and left after 1 night.

I do not recommend this place. They charged me 50 dollars more than what I had booked for. Also I booked here because it stated it was a pet friendly hotel and pets stay free. Well when I got there I was told pets are not allowed, but due to circumstances they allowed my pet for a fee. The place is rundown and most of the appliances and furniture are rusty.

Pictures online did not represent the hotels actual appearance. It was very run down, mold in the bathroom, rusted handles on all of drawers, the air was thick with air freshener trying to cover something, and the INDOOR pool was closed for the season. This should be posted as this was a family trip and the only reason for the booking.

As a rule, I try to not be negative but that is not my intention here. The only thing that stands out is that the indoor swimming pool was “closed for the season.” First of all it’s an indoor pool, it is not exposed to the elements.and secondly you’re in Texas!

The first room that they gave to us was dirty (the bed sheets were dirty) and they changed our room and the second was clean but smelling to cigarettes. The only thing good about this hotel is the personnel, all the guys were really kind.

I stayed one night of a five night booking. The room stank heavily of cigarette smoke, though the hotel says it's 100% smoke free. The security door on the first floor did not lock and the manager on duty indicated they had no intention of fixing it. I woke with a headache from the cigarette smoke the next morning and went to check out. I did not feel safe here at all. The young man (maybe 20) that checked me out charged me for the full five days and they will not refund my money for the days I didn't stay. This has nothing to do with a "cancellation policy." It has everything to do with the hotel being unacceptable. I stayed in a hotel across the street for the next four days and had no problems. Do not stay here. It is unclean and it's incredibly dishonest to hide behind a cancellation policy and keep my money for days I didn't stay.

Elevators made a horrible creaking noise and would stop on the wrong floors. There was also a burning smell coming from them. The last inspection date posted inside the elevator was from 2018. We were very reluctant to use them but have young children that would have made climbing the stairs to the 3rd floor extremely difficult. We had a room with 2 queen beds and one of the bedsheets was covered in hair when we pulled the blanket out. Other than that the rest of the room and bathroom was clean, staff was friendly and helpful.

So, the hotel was a little outdated. At first I was nervous about the decision but the hotel was paid for so we were gonna stick it out. But the owners were so friendly. We were there 3 full days/ nights. We didn't see many other people- it was pretty empty. Everything was clean and smelled fresh just the hotel itself is older. I think it was definitely the most friendly place we've ever stayed. I would recommend.

Had to switch rooms due to mold in the shower and sheets not being switched after the people before. They “cleaned” that room and gave it to someone else. Had to switch room. Asked for linens for the pull out coach multiple times since there wasn't any on. Ended up having to go get them ourselves. They didn’t switch us in the computer so kept having trouble with keys and then needing to clean for the next guest. While still there in the room. Had to go down each day to someone new to tell them no where in there till Sunday. We got there Wednesday.

AC wasnt working, was told someone would come look at it but never did. Bathroom door was busted and glued together and door knob was broken. Outside doors were left cracked ooen so anyone coukd just walk right in. The man at check in was very rude! We booked the hotel for the indoor and hot tub for my grandkids but only got to use it for an hour because the rude man made us get out at 8:30 pm when the pool didnt close until 10 pm. Will NEVER stay there again! A total waste of money!!!

The hotel was in a very convenient location. I was in town for and interview and stayed here because my new job is right down the street. So many places to dine. And the mall is very close. The bed was so comfortable and the room was very spacious! Hope to stay again soon!

Dirty bathroom , found cockroaches in room , called n reported to front desk. Only got 1 big towel and 3 washcloth even though room was booked for 2 people , had to go down and get more. Tv wouldn’t work. AC UNIT WAS DUSTY . Have evidence of everything. There was stain on one of bed upon arrival. Place is filthy.

The hotel was very dirty. The rooms had a horrible smell. The first room smelled of mold, so we asked to switch. The second room still had a horrible smell but better than the first room. The blankets on the bed were stained. You couldn't walk on the floor barefoot because the floor felt wet and moldy. The continental breakfast did not have much food options and the tables were left dirty. They also had no napkins. The only plus side was the bathroom was clean and there were plenty of towels. I would not recommend staying there.

The lobby was nice but as soon as I walked into my room there was an odd smell and the window blinds were torn. The bed was comfortable though. So I got a good nights sleep and then left.

Pretty old and outdated hotel. Paid for a suite but no sheets or blankets for pull out couch. Went to front desk and they gave me 1 sheet (with a large stain on it). Went back down and asked for 2 sheets and a blanket. They said they did not have blankets and don't give sheets for the pull out couches. I would recommend staying somewhere else.

Upon check in everything seemed fine. When we got into the room there was hair all over one bed. There was a dirty sock as well in between the beds. Advised the front desk who moved us to another room. Everything seemed good and then a cockroach jumped out of the ac unit and the shower leaked constantly and very loudly. I advised the front desk who said he would check the shower out and fix asap. He apologized for the roach and let my kids get snacks from the Store. The next day my husband tried to use the coffee pot where he found a dead roach inside. The clerk tried to fix it but of course it was just gross. I appreciate that he did that but I will not be staying here again.

Service was good but once we step in our room it smelled moldy. The bed sheet and pillows still had someone elses hair on it. One night I got up to get a drink from the mini fridge and i spotted a cockroach. Had to go get bug killer and spray the room to finish our stay since we booked 3rd party. Also our curtain shade for the window had a huge noticable hole in it.

Walls in room had cracks, amenities were of low or "cheap" quality, outside of hotel was noisy (demolition is taking place on neighboring property) and dirty. I am still waiting on refund for "extra" unexpected deposit of $50.00 charged at check-in.

The manager did offer a new double queen suite for the next day but never followed up with letting us know one was available. Other gripes, the bathroom caulk was pulling loose from the tub, bathroom looked dirty in the corners and the toilet paper holder was off it’s mount. To put a positive on things, the manager said the hotel was recently under new management and I did see a couple boxes of mattress pads that had arrived. So maybe things are being improved upon.

It was in a very convenient location though, and again, the price was very good, so the worn out thing wasn't exactly unexpected. The cigarettes thing was though.
