Since my flight got delayed i reached vegas at around 2 am. And went in to check in and there was long queue and one person handling the check in so it took me 30 mins to check in and thereafter when i enter my room it was a total mess (was not cleaned after previous guest) at around 3:30 am in the morning. I called front desk twice and then housekeeping staff came at around 4:00 am and cleaned everything by 4:30 am and let me sleep. Never had this kinda experience.

No hot water in our 1st room, beds were so bad and soft. Old. Nothing in their room about maps, restaurants, gym etc. Had to google EVERYTHING to find anything! 6 deck blackjack only. I played maybe 5 minutes which I came Las Vegas to play. The restaurants are hard to find. They had a breakfast restaurant called Eggslut! Really! Wentzel Prezelts was never open. We eat Smashburger 4 times and never got ketchup or spoons for chili. The Gym was little but ok! I read 100+ reviews on Expedia and they were good. Really? I saw a basic breakfast restaurant that had a minimum price $25 for any meal! This place is a POS! Never again.

We chose to stay at this place due to the pictures of the pool area online. They fail to mention that the pool closes at 6:00pm and doesn’t open until 10:00am with checkout time at 11:00. We never even got the chance to use the pool. This is also pretty far from the strip so not within walking distance.

Had an amazing view!! 10000/10! Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Parking good clean room
-
Maybe keep a full dinner or a couple of options for midnight dinner open

The front desk lady was really sweet about changing my room and understood. That was the highlight.
-
Room was spacious and clean with a great view. Property is dated and casino is very limited. I remember it being more gaming. Pool was super nice and bar staff was fun and friendly. Pool was the best part.
-
Wish the pool would stay open longer..it closed at 6:00pm
-
There was a lot to do and places open to eat so we did not have to leave.
-
App for check in and out did not work well. Ease of use with front desk iPads helped
-
I thought the hotel had been remodeled but not the tower we were in. Carpets were dirty and tile in the bathroom were broken. Even the elevator was dirty. I would NOT recommend the Rio
-
Generally speaking its okay, Golden Nugget is better

#2 I got charged a smoking fee and told front desk I didn't smoke at all matter fact I don't even smoke neither does my stepdad who has health problems or my mother who hates cigarettes, they are based off only the smoke detector but no evidence or cameras to prove that I didn't smoke in the room so basically I got scammed $500 but in the end of checkout the lady helped me out with the issue and removed the smoking fee because I have proof that I didn't smoke, staff service would've been terrible 1 star if it wasn't for the lady with glasses who helped me out. #3 they need to work on their AC because we came for June which was really hot and the room wasn't cool enough for us so they brought us a fan to at least help with the heat. Invest in AC!! At the end the pool was such a disappointment hoping the waterfall would work especially for people who pay to have fun in the summer and enjoy it! Terrible management and greedy Corporation.
