Hotel Madanis

The room was real clean and bed comfortable. The bathroom was fantastic. I planned adding a bath at home and will use their style. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful with three (3) types of juices, fresh fruit and wonderful pastries. The location was not ideal for touristy sites. But we could always Uber.

Unfortunately the shower head in our bathroom was a total disaster,big pressure which is fine,but from all the limescale and build-up the water was just going everywhere,it was very annoying.On our last day we had a long trip ahead of us, but the hotel had problem with the water,so we couldn't take a shower or to use the toilet.It was a bit unconvenient but that wouldn't stop us going back as the location is top notch.

Shuttle is really busy and they were not helpful in setting up so took metro anyway back to airport. This was big reason why I choose them. No water for shower in hotel when I was there.

We had a very pleasant night at Hotel Madanis, the staff was kind and helpful.

Nice staff, fast and clear messaging and good size room on the 2nd floor. Also they prepared a crib in the room. General lack of maintenance in the room such as rusted screws and other rusted parts in the bathroom, old/ruined and deteriorated parts in the bathroom, some shower head holes were clogged so the water pressure was high and stinging (unpleasant feel on skin). The rooms are not very sound proofed: our room window with balcony was on the street so we could hear the traffic, and also noises from the upper floor and surroundings. In conclusion, to me it didn't look like a 4 stars hotel for the high price I paid.

Nice room, good shower and confy bed, my usual obxes ticked! Staff very friendly and helpful, lovely fresh selection for breakfast, with great coffee. Good location, easy to metro, enough places to eat to not need to go into centre if you want to be more local. Super value at the price I paid. It's in a busy spot, so even though it's well soundproofed you can't escape the lads razzing aroud on their big motorbikes. But I'm a light sleeper. It was pretty quiet in the main part of the night.

The location only No kettle and when we ask for one the provide and very dirty one, no tissues, the room temperature very hot and you can’t adjust it at all, when you ask for anything they keep answering with same answer we are sorry but not possible. Am so disappointed because I had beyond sky best of the best three start experience at Greece to very unexpected four starts worst experience am wondering how it’s four starts maybe because of the location only.

Great location! Literally 5 mins away from metro so convenient to get around Barcelona. They have a free luggage storage facility. I left my luggage with them while I travelled to seville.

The friendly staff and location were the only good parts of staying in this hotel. The hotel is located next to metro and bus station. While the staff is very friendly and the location is good, this hotel falls far short of being a 4-star property. The room photos we saw during booking were far from reality. There was no iron, no basic toiletries (not even a toilet brush), and no balcony, despite having booked a room with one. The breakfast was nice but quite limited compared to other 4-star hotels. If this is a 4-star hotel, then Hotel Barcelona Centre should be rated 7 stars! Simply not worth the money.
