The Bene Hotel

Outstanding service and attention to detail From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely well taken care of. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is calm, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a great place to relax after a busy day. I would especially like to thank Surya Cahyadi at the reception, whose level of professionalism, efficiency, and dedication truly stood out. His service was exceptional and noticeably above the standard — even compared to other staff members. He consistently went the extra mile to help, always with a positive attitude and great attention to detail. The rest of the team was friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was clean, quiet, and very well organized. My stay was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. I would happily return and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and truly excellent service. Some aspects of housekeeping could be improved. On a few occasions, food waste (such as pizza leftovers) was left in the corridors for up to two days, which did not feel professional and affected the overall impression.

Room itself was clean and comfortable. Staff were really nice. Restaurant downstairs was really good. Overall it was a comfortable stay. Wifi worked good. Nearby beach was very dirty and littered with trash, far from picturesque. Loud people outside drinking in the early hours. The bathroom drain was very slow, and the shower was slippery. Also, the shampoo and conditioner had a terrible smell. I think it was designed that way but we just didn't like it.

Breakfast could be better. The room was clean but the hotel loby and the especially dining area corner was very smelly.

The pool. Been in this hotel years back when it was new, the hotel building and rooms needs renovation, the breakfast menu was the same no changes.

Everything amazing

​The hotel is incredibly clean and well-maintained. From the lobby to the rooms, everything looked spotless. The staff are also a major highlight—they were so friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile. ​The location is what makes this hotel truly special. It’s within walking distance to everything, especially the beach and the main shopping mall. You can easily spend your days exploring without needing to worry about transportation. ​My only small suggestion would be to add higher lumen bulbs in the bedroom area for more effective and brighter lighting. Other than that, my stay was perfect. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Kuta, this is it!

The check-in process could be improved. I got my room at 4pm, although late, they were kind to apologise and ensure that the room was properly cleaned.

A special thank you to the receptionist, Surya Cahyadi, who was always ready to help and extremely attentive. He is honestly one of the best receptionists I’ve ever met. I also want to highlight the security team, who were very professional and attentive at all times. Nothing major to mention. Everything was above expectations.

I had such a great stay at The Bene Hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my trip in Kuta. I stayed in a room with a balcony – it was quite spacious and comfortable. The pool area was lovely and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing after a day out. Location-wise, it’s about a 5–10 minute walk to Kuta Beach, so while it's not right on the beachfront, it’s in a great spot if you’re looking for somewhere quiet yet still very accessible. There are plenty of cafes, spa, and a shopping mall nearby too, which was super convenient. Overall, highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay near the heart of Kuta!

Swimmingpool No hotwater and bathroom is dated, mold every corner in the bathroom.

The rooms were spacious and kids really loved it.Wonderful location with 5 minutes walk to the beach. Over all we enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying in future again A little old construction and may need some renovation. Bathroom Water for bathing and washing is a bit salty but probably nothing can be done for that

As our 7-day stay went on, more issues became apparent. For example, there was no hand soap provided, and despite our room being cleaned several times, no one ever refilled it. The floor was dirty, the shower hadn’t been properly cleaned (we even found hair inside), and basic amenities like coffee and tea were never replenished—quite disappointing for a hotel that claims to have four stars. The area around the pool also seemed poorly maintained. The wooden deck felt unstable and unsafe, and the railing leading to the pool was loose and shaky. One day, we ordered cocktails by the pool, and the empty glasses were left there the entire day—and even greeted us the next morning. A few days later, the same thing happened with champagne and glasses; no one cleared them, even though staff were regularly walking around. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel’s location is very convenient—close to the beach and the center of Kuta. However, the overall condition of the hotel suggests it really needs renovation and a refresh to meet the standards it advertises. In terms of cleanliness, I would rate it 3 stars at best, mainly because of the staff’s efforts. But overall, I would give the hotel 2 stars. If you’re mainly looking for a good location and can overlook the issues, you might still consider staying here—but don’t expect a true 4-star experience.

Clean, comfortable, and in a strategic location—just a 10-minute walk from the mall. The staff are extremely kind and helpful, which made our stay even more pleasant. A solid choice for convenience and comfort in the area. Just the towel cards that kept losing and certain foods prohibited and many fines on sheets and towels
