Very peaceful, you would have no idea you were in Kuta. The staff was wonderful, breakfast was wonderful, facilities and rooms were too! Honestly I have nothing negative to say about Poppies. I’d love to come back again!

This is a lovely property tucked away on a backstreet in Kuta. Everything has been carefully and lovingly created and maintained. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Very hard to find. Our driver had a hard time. This is not the fault of the property.

Free pick up from the airport, nice bathroom design, very pretty garden and cozy pool area. Could be a little more clean. We found animal feces on the sitting area as well as the bed....

Stunning property!! Free p-up from DPS airport, only 7 min drive. The staff, accommodations, location and the beauty of the property exceeded my expectations and I felt comfortable, safe and welcomed! The pool is mesmerizing and calls you to bask in it... with no pool hours..EEK! I found myself just walking slowly through the property to enjoy all the natural beauty and thoughtful design of the landscaping and cultural statement pieces. OHH and don't forget the amazing open-air bathrooms, air-conditioning and large comfy beds!! Don't miss out on the option to add breakfast to your room reservation, Poppies restaurant is just across the alley and is not to be missed... YUMM! at check-in, Ring the bell on the counter (even if they are present) for me and say Hi to the friendly and helpful staff! Will def return for a stay at Poppies!

Amazing hotel (and amazing adjacent restaurant). Secluded peaceful cottages right off Kuta’s crazy streets. The moment you cross the entrance gate, you are immediately immersed into a green manicured paradise. The cottages are large, with beautiful thatched roofs and spacious bedrooms that are opened on the outside. The daily breakfast in the adjacent Poppies restaurant is fantastic (and the restaurant is itself fantastic, also nestled in lush green). But the best attribute of Poppies is without doubt its swimming pool, which is probably the best I have ever seen anywhere in the countries and cities I have visited. Hard to describe, words don’t do justice. If a tropical river and a garden pond were mixed in one, it would be the Poppies pool. Nothing.

We stayed at Poppies on two occasions recently while transiting trough Bali to other parts of Indonesia. We couldn't have made a better choice of hotel than Poppies. It’s a haven of tranquility set away from the madness of Kuta. The grounds are lovely as are all the staff. Our cottage was spacious, super clean and beautiful. The semi-outdoor bathroom was gorgeous, complete with Hindu deity. A la carte breakfast was phenomenal, and even their take-away breakfast was the best we have ever had. We enjoyed a fantastic rijsttafel in their excellent restaurant one evening. As an added bonus, Poppies includes complimentary airport pickup and dropoff. Honestly, nothing. Poppies has mastered the art of hospitality.

This property is a peaceful hidden oasis in a busy area of the city. It truly feels like you landed in a tropical jungle resort! It is quiet, breakfast is very good and the staff are beyond amazing. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to anyone. Everything was great.

All up we had a very enjoyable stay at Poppies. It was our oasis away from the very busy streets and lanes of Kuta. Staff very friendly and always had a welcoming smile. Would recommend Poppies to anyone looking for a quiet piece of Bali hevan. Nothing - all was fantastic

The staff were exceptionally kind, friendly and helpful. Top notch service from wonderful people. The property is stunningly gorgeous, we first came here 36 years ago and were afraid maybe the place would have become worse- but absolutely not, we absolutely loved as much or more than 36 years ago! There was nothing to dislike!
