Not far to carry my bags. Clean and some thoughtful touches like an extension cord added by my side of the bed so I could have electricity for chargers, etc. Could use some newer towels

Perfect for a one night stay as I traveled across country. Not bad. You get what you pay for.

Great location and very well maintained property

Good value for the price.

The owner-manager was friendly and professional. The staff met all my needs. The amenities too often missing in chain motels were matched or exceeded: cable television, microwave refrigerato,r air conditioning and a excellent mattress to get a good night's sleep. The main difference to other hotels was the very reasonable price. I liked the charm of the refurbished hotel so that perceived drawback of an older motel was a positive for me.

Reasonable cost, quiet. Had microwave and refrigerator. The lamps on either side of the bed didn't work

I was on the road from Salt Lake to St Louis and after driving 12 hours I just wanted a clean place to lie down with some heat and quiet. Great price. The manager, probably the owner, upgraded my room. Yes, it's an older building with older facilities and I don't recommend the orange juice, but it's more than enough for a Frugal Traveler.

The owner was quite friendly, and gave us a free upgrade from a queen to king room. His wife appeared not to speak English, however despite my inability to figure out what she meant by, "Meek?", she did bring out the "Milk" and was not at all put out by my inability to understand her. Continental Breakfast was not advertised with the word "Continental." Nothing hot was provided. The milk was expired. The orange juice was dark in color, giving the appearance of being near spoiled.

Can hear rodents in the walls and ceiling. I asked for a refund. Was told I had to get it through Expedia. I called Expedia and they emailed manager. He then acted like he would refund me, but then denied the refund. Frustrating experience. Dirty place.

Easy distance from the freeway and access to lots of food. We chose the 3-queen-bed suite which is unique amongst stays so we didn't have to book two rooms for the three of us travelling to the Sandhill Crane migration. It had a mini-fridge and microwave and a table and chairs for us to dine-in. It was a great value. The room is comfortable but not fancy. We did not try the breakfast, but it looked a little meager.

Not much of a breakfast and the orange juice was brown —ma uh be a combination of apple and orange juice… or worse.

The staff was rude; the shower did'nt work, the chair was too dirty to sit on. the TV didn't work. It was a horrile experience. please remove them optionw.

Older motel but clean, quiet, comfortable and included a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Breakfast was somewhat better than I anticipated. Great value.
