Never stay at Tomang Gelong Guest House! Stayed here once and honestly, it was a total nightmare. No basic amenities: No towels, no toothpaste, no toothbrush, no shower gel, not even a trash bin. How can you call this a guest house if you don’t even provide the bare minimum? Dangerous stairs: The stairs are ridiculously narrow—an adult foot can’t even fit properly. Every time I went up or down I felt like I was about to trip. Add luggage, and it feels like you could tumble down in one go. Super unsafe! Lights & curtains: Hallway lights stay on all night, and some rooms don’t even have curtains. The whole night was bright like daytime, impossible to get proper sleep. Bottom line: No safety, no comfort, no basics. A complete disappointment—avoid at all costs!

Perfect little apartment for couples, very cozy and comfortable. There was a shopping centre walking distance with heaps of option of restaurants. The bathroom could have a sink, but apart from that all good.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this guest house, particularly appreciating the simplicity and convenience of the room layout. Everything was thoughtfully arranged to ensure a comfortable experience without any unnecessary clutter. The staff truly made a difference—both the lady and the gentleman on duty were incredibly polite and went out of their way to be helpful throughout my stay. Their warm and attentive service added a personal touch that made my visit even more enjoyable. While my stay was pleasant overall, there were a few aspects I found less favorable. The absence of a washbasin in the room was quite inconvenient, and the narrow stairs made moving between floors a bit of a challenge. I had to be extra cautious, especially when carrying small items up and down. Although the staff kindly offered to help with the luggage, I could still see the struggle they faced with those tight stairs. It’s something to keep in mind if you have a lot of baggage or mobility concerns.

Disappointing- we could not access the tool we had booked because we were with our 2 years old baby. The staff ask us to go away as they will not give us access to the room ! Not trust - please read above

There's too many ants in the room. I woke up maybe 25 times in one night cause of ants.

Clean, comfy and in strategic location. The drainage of the bathroom has to be fixed. It's flooded when you use the shower.

property was nice and clean, modern, private. you may struggle with narrow spiral staircase if you have heavy luggage but host was more than happy to help with this if needed!

Cheaper price and location near the places I want to go Room sometimes a bit smelly, maybe it's the bathroom but once in a while the smell gone .. and next thing i dont like is the dangerous small spiral staircase. Too small for big guy. So if you are not small and thin, better avoid this place .. but they got room at ground floor but will depend on availability

The room was small , very basic and smelly. The bathroom was so tiny that I had to be careful not to touch the not very clean walls and most importantly it didn’t have a sink! the shower was another issue as it was pointed to the walls instead of my head so I had to hold it during my shower. No outside area to sit. I was on the second floor and climbing those tiny stairs wasn’t easy! I also that once customer ( Guus) wrote 5 different reviews on and gave this place a score of 10! The location was ok. The young man working there was doing his best.
