Parking time buffer should be increased to 15 min actually people after long hrs if travel will find difficult to get out of the cab and genuinely need time

First off, 5/5 stars for Mercure Cikini. I had a medical emergency during my stay. Woke up with intense abdominal pain. I quickly packed up and approached the front desk. Staff Febri assisted me with a rapid response by getting me a taxi to get to the hospital immediately. Staff Kevin followed up as well which was great. I was sent to the Primaya PGI hospital which is just a 5 minute drive away. Communication between the staff was very smooth as I was primarily speaking to the staff in a mix of Bahasa Malaysia and English. We suspected it was appendicitis, but turns out it was kidney stones. I'm very appreciative of the Mercure staff as they have been very helpful, kind, polite, and amazing in general. Let's also not forget that the food at the hotel is pretty amazing. I travel 8-10 times a year and this is the actually the only hotel with the best food that I actually miss the breakfast when I was warded in the hospital. Will definitely come back again when I plan to go over to Jakarta.

While the staff were great, the hotel is hardly 4 stars. Where to begin. The location is shady and now safe. The gym is tiny and poorly equipped. Rooms are small and outdated.

The staff was helpful and nice . They took a 100000 Rp as a deposit fee and they told me they will give it back to me when I check out and then they told me to wait for a week till I get it back in my credit card! I trusted them but Unfortunately it’s almost two weeks now and I didn’t get my money back from them! And the most important thing was I’ve been charged extra money! online booking payments was Rp 2075501 paid in 18 Jan, as my booking was 18-20 Jan and Rp 3443503 the moment I arrived to Mercure hotel in 19 Jan, as my booking 18-21 Jan as I added only one night! _________ I truly hope they find a solution for this issue soon, Because I really like Mercure hotel.. To be honest as always I’ll update my review information the moment I get my money back & got a honest explanation from them ..

it's fairly centrally located in Jl. Cikini Raya which has a number of cafes, a nice library and is a nice area of Jakarta for having a walk, about 20 mins walk from Monas, there is a pool on the roof and a well-equipped gym the internet did partly not work, the reception staff has poor English (you need to explain everything 3 to 5 times and then they don't really understand) and makes (too many) mistakes which they usually notice late so that I needed repeatedly go to the reception to resolve things; the information given by the reception staff is not always correct: they told me the taxi to the airport would take 60 mins, but it took almost 90 mins - that should clearly not happen, such information needs to be fully correct; the pool is only 1.2 m deep, so, not optimal for swimming and has too restrictive opening times from 6 am to only 6 pm - the gym opening times are also too restrictive (only until 9 pm); when I had ordered a massage due to major back pain, the lady got physically intrusive - which is really unacceptable - and the massage was of rather poor quality; the rooms have poor view and do poorly isolate the noise of the neighboring rails; the breakfast is chaotic and really poorly organized: essential components like juice, milk or sausages were on some days available, but on others not, plates & cups have been running out during breakfast several times without being refilled etc., etc. - there is only one single type of tea available and only one type of juice - all in all a disappointing experience to stay in that hotel, there are many (much) better ones available in Jakarta and in the Cikini area...

location is strategic, easy access to any parts of jakarta, however traffic can be bad during peak hours just try to avoid getting in and out during this period. the room wasnt so big but enough for 2 person. the shower has low water pressure and could use a bit of an update there was no rain shower. The only thing I genuinely appreciate about this place is the staff — they’re helpful, attentive, and clearly hardworking. The TV offers a good variety of channels, but beyond that, there’s not much else that stands out. Unfortunately, my stay here was quite disappointing. Many things in the room felt old and in need of repair — some even visibly so. The room lobby had an unpleasant smell, and there were several cleanliness and maintenance issues. For example, there was a hole in my towel, stains on the bedsheet and pillowcase, and the toilet fittings looked loose and aged. The shower curtain even had mold stains, which was unacceptable. The worst part was that the air conditioner didn’t work on my first night. I’ll be writing to Accor to request a refund for that. The bed was soft and uneven, and even the pillow had lost much of its filling — thin and far from comfortable. It was also surprising that no instant coffee was provided in the room. Breakfast was average at best; the café downstairs felt cramped and crowded, with limited choices that didn’t justify the overall experience. The only redeeming part of my stay was the staff — they were genuinely helpful and hardworking despite the circumstances.

I got upgraded to Privileged floor, free late check out, free happy hour, and free parking The front office called 3 times about check out time, while the front office during check in has already stated, that my room key has been entitled for late check out ( till 4PM ), but on check out day, the front office called at 11:00, 13:00 and 14:30 This is not very proffesional

The impression was spoiled because when we tried to reach anyone from the staff of the hotel, all the calls were in vain

There are several restaurants around the hotel, and major shopping malls such as Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia are within a 3–4 km radius. Overall, it’s a very convenient location. The cleanliness was below expectations. The carpets in the room were old and visibly dirty. The hotel provides only bath towels, with no face towels available. The restaurant offers a limited selection of dishes, and the staff’s English proficiency is quite limited.

Cheap Well it isn’t clean, there was mold on the curtain in the shower and in general it wasn’t clean with a very funky smell. In the corridors it smelled horrible because of the carpet

my short escape with family to stay. Kids friendly hotel. They provide claw machine and dingdong and giant sliding. My kids were really enjoy. And for breakfast, I think this is the best one. Variative and tasty. All staff very friendly
