The staff was extremely generous and kind. They were also accommodating and quick. They did their best when I asked them for anything or information. The open-air garden in the courtyard gives a greenery effect and a refreshing feeling. The room is more spacious than what is mentioned on Booking.com. With its private bathroom and toilet included, it is hard to find a room at this price in central Jakarta. The building is old and not well maintained. The room is unbelievably dirty. Yellow stains are all over the mirror, sink, floor, and wall. I could smell damp when I first opened the room door. The glass windows looked firmly closed until I forgot my key inside the room, and they came to open the window with a screwdriver and a hammer. It was then that I realised the hook was too short. It was alright; I did not feel too bad. I did not feel like the towels, bedsheet, blanket, and pillow were clean, either. No toilet paper was provided.

"My stay at this hotel was disappointing, to say the least. The room had a persistent unpleasant odor, the bed was broken, and the mosquito situation was overwhelming. Additionally, the water from the tap had a slow flow, adding to the discomfort. Overall, the experience fell far below expectations, and I would not recommend this hotel to others."

Nice friendly staff. Good central location. Street food available nearby. Nice central courtyard and lounge area. Dated decor but huge potential if modernized. Inexpensive. Quiet. Could do with a good clean ( including rubbish bins ) shower head broken and waterjust comes out as stream. Spring came through mattress

It is a charming quite place with friendly people, the rooms are already very used and not very clean. But its near the central place.

Location is very nice. Nearby to many tourist spots. Easier to go to tourist spot just by walking around. No breakfast. A/C quite old. Slow to cold the rooms.

The location was pretty great to access the monument. Walking around was also quite nice and the location was pretty close from the station I used to come from the airport - which saves a big hassle. Staff were also friendly. First room had a leaking toilet which made the whole bathroom soaked. I asked to change and then the room I got changed into smelled like someone had been smoking in it for days and the smell never left.
