Cheya Gumussuyu Residence

Kenan nand the lovely housemaid were very helpful 10/10. The view from the balcony was terific. The taxi driver took us to the wrong Cheya having spoken to a Cheya manager (not Kenan) on the phone. On arrival it was apparent that my name was not that of the booking and we had to return to our first stop. I booked an UBER and asked the manager to put in the return address so there would be no mistake. On arrival it the address it became apparent that the UBER had been cancelled and we were with a regular taxi. I did not cancel the UBER.

Fantastic place in a great location to explore Istanbul. The hosts were very accommodating, easy to communicate with, and the process of checking in and out was very easy. The space was exactly what we expected with everything we needed. No complaints at all.

the host is very helpful, anything we need in the apartment during our stay is easily provided and fast. it's close to Taksim Metro, 6 -9 minutes walk to reach Metro and istiklal. the road is not flat but not troublesome. Minimarket, Stores, and cafes are nearby nope

AS a group of 6, two families, stayed for 5 nights in top floor. Nestled in the heart of Istanbul, this top-floor apartment offers an absolutely stunning view of the Bosphorus Strait that will take your breath away. The location is nothing short of perfect. Cleanliness is impeccable. The hospitality truly sets this accommodation apart – Ms. Esma, the housekeeper, was wonderfully attentive, and Mr. Kenan was always just a phone call away, ready to assist with any need. The duplex design adds character, though the 3 bedrooms spread across different levels might be challenging for some. The relatively sharp stairs require a bit of careful navigation. Despite its unconventional layout, this apartment offers an unforgettable Istanbul experience. The combination of prime location, immaculate cleanliness, and outstanding hospitality makes this a place we'd absolutely return to in a heartbeat. - Multi-level layout with sharp stairs - Not ideal for guests with mobility challenges

The apt was very nice and very clean. The towels were rough as sandpaper, and several of them were threadbare. Also, my reservation was for a unit with 3br and 2 ba and a balcony with either city or Bpsphorus views. This unit only had 1 bath and the tiny terraces from our second floor location had NO view at all.

The only good thing about this place is a view from terrace It was very cold in the apartment especially at night, when I asked the host about heating system, he didn’t respond to me for very long time, the day after he finally told me to use AC which was so old and just didn’t make any difference. Another things is when we arrived our bed shits was wet, had to dry it with an iron, horrible experience. Apartment is very old and everything is falling apart, shower also is very tricky.

Everything Nothing

The view was great. Handy location. close to supermarkets, Taksim square etc We had no hot water for 2 days. No communication from the host regarding this. They fixed the problem, but it would have been nice for them to tell us they were working on it.... Penthouse is 2 levels, two bedrooms downstairs and one upstairs. Upstairs bedroom had a dormer roof, easy to bump your head on. Outrageously small lift. if you are claustrophobic you will be climbing the stairs!

Apartment was nice, cosy and at the same time spacious There was no hot water, they tried to fix that for several times, but unfortunately we had only cold water

we booked 3 apartments, they were spacious, cozy and the see view one had really nice view on Bosporus

I liked how comfortable the place was and how near to istiklal street , the owners were so kind and nice

amazing view from terrace of the apartment on top floor contact with the host lift.....even if small ;) great location, proximity of grocery stores wicker armchairs on the terrace requires a bit of refreshment window joinery of terrace doors and one window on the lower level deserves some adjustment/regulations
