A blast from the past!!!! This is a newer hotel or should I say old school Motel! I liked that is is set up like a motel you would find back in the day in Arizona or West someplace. Minus the mold and biker gangs out front from the 70s. Super neat place to take the kids or wife. I’m in my 50s and my wife had never stayed at a motel! I have many times as a kid. However this place is so cool and the round pool is such a neat thing. It’s cool that I grew up in Irving and this is in las colinas not too far where I grew up. Super neat concept and the snacks were actually pretty cheap for hotel snacks! I would definitely do it again!

From the moment we pulled into the hotel we were greeted with friendly staff. Valet was smooth and easy. Jasmine at check in was super nice and made us feel welcomed! The property is nice and I enjoyed the overall vibe! The whole stay was very enjoyable!

The two courtyards provided a great place to unwind after a day of conferences.

Requested a room on the ground floor in a non accessible room and was assigned an accessible room on the third floor. Front desk were ambivalent and unhelpful in assisting.

Overall, it was a great stay. The only hiccup we ran into was the Internet did not seem to be working very well, but outside of that everything else was fantastic.

Great place for families or a couple of groups together. Large area to play games or kids to run around. We were there on the weekends and the Cantina was open for breakfast/dinner plus small coffee shop bar.

This has become one of our go to places to stay in the DFW area. Easy access to Dallas and Fort worth and the airport. Open air and just plain fun.

They need to work a little more on cleaning the room. Otherwise it was a good stay.

They didn’t have my room ready. The clerk said the room was closed. ??? I don’t know what that meant, but she offered an upgrade of a king size bed with a roll out. There were three adults checking in. This is not an upgrade! Asked her to find us a room that we had reservations months in advance. She said she found a room, but needed a final inspection. The front desk told us the small cafe near the entrance would be open at 7:00 am. No one was there and the doors were locked. The beds were comfortable, but they were a double size so it would have been cramped for full size adults. The carpet had stains. The best part of the room was the shower. Great water pressure and spacious. The chair they had in the room was not suitable for sitting because of the design. Honestly, the stay was underwhelming.

It is an adorable hotel. The staff was great especially the valet guys. Check in failed to tell me that the room came with an $18 credit to use on the property. I would have happily gotten coffee in the coffee shop and supported the business. Food at the Cantina was great but service was slow and things were forgotten and delayed. Overall I would absolutely stay again.

The rooms are fantastic too — colorful, stylish, and full of personality with barn doors, vintage furniture, fun light fixtures, and even the stamped toilet paper made me smile. Check-in was awesome — Dominique walked us straight out to the courtyard and personally pointed out our room, the Two Mules Cantina, and everything we needed. The multiple seating areas are perfect whether you want an intimate spot or to gather the whole crew. Texican Court has officially become our new go-to whenever we’re in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We can’t wait to go back! Oh… and do yourself a favor and try the Brisket Hash at Two Mules Cantina for breakfast — it’s outstanding! If you’re looking for a unique property close to everything, the Texican Court is for you. A stylish motel renovated into a modern campus with pool, courtyard, game yard, outdoor fireplaces, tequila bar and more. Every choice—from the shell pink doors to the smell of cedar wood burning in the fireplaces—is designed to make you relax and have fun. If I have any complaints it’s these primary concerns: the mattresses are not comfortable at all and should be upgraded for the price you’re paying per night, the air conditioning units are way too loud to facilitate uninterrupted sleep (increase power of ceiling fans and allow windows to open slightly to facilitate a night breeze instead), front desk staff could be a bit more customer-service oriented.

This the most clean, well organized, friendliest hotel I have stayed at in a long time! They were top notch from beginning till the end. We only stayed one night for a concert, but well worth the money. There valet service was better than any valet service I have ever experienced any where, including LasVegas! I would definitely be coming back. The rooms were very comfortable, even the beds. I absolutely recommend staying here to anyone!

This was such a nice place to stay. When we checked in, they gave us complimentary beer. The place was very nice with a restaurant with outside seating, nice pool, and fire pits and fireplace. The employees were all super friendly and super helpful. They also have free bikes to ride. It is across the street from the convention center, and about 2 blocks from Toyota center. The colina area has lots of restaurants that are all walking distance with great shops on the canal. We definitely will be going back.

The adorable fridge fully stocked, bed was super comfy, even had a rocking chair outside the door. Perfect for me~

The property was very clean, the rooms were great. The rooms are also fully stocked with snacks and drinks, for a price of course, but the fact the convenience is there is amazing. The vibes were fantastic, there was live music in the evening, everything was lit up and it created the coziest atmosphere. 10/10 will stay again next time I’m in the area.

Nice propert and room. Downside is the amount of mini bar items that are stocked in the room and fridge. Careful getting anything from the mini bar, our $36 worth of items had a final total of $67 after the additonal fees for using it were included.

had a great stay overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made it easy to relax after a long day. The staff was friendly and helpful, always willing to answer questions and make sure everything was taken care of.

Just the fees for parking and $18 a day for food at the hotel bar . Everything else was great.

Took the lotion to the front desk because it had smelled rancid never got a replacement food quality not as good as it was, rooms were adequate.Staff was nice

This looks like an old motel 6 but renovated. The floor is concrete. The AC was old and loud and woke me up every time it was on. Would not stay here again.

Overall, a great place to stay. Rooms are spacious, outside areas have plenty of seating. Did not use the pool but looked nice. Lots of restaurants in walking distance.

Such a great theme with attention to detail and practicality. Staff is very helpful and kind. The 2Mules Cantina is a great place to eat, drink and hang out.

They give you a “ credit “ of 18 dollars a day to use at the restaurant but if you do not use it apparently they still charge that to you on your credit card it also costs about 14 a day to park there and the room is filled with tons of mini bar items and if you touch any of it the charges go up more so be aware this place is even more expensive than advertised by atleast 40+ a night if you park there

The location is perfect if you’re attending anything at the Irving Convention Center—it’s just a short walk across the street, which made getting to events quick and easy. I especially loved the retro orange fridge in the room—it’s such a cool touch that adds to the personality of the hotel. The only small thing I wish the room had was a microwave, which would have been convenient during the stay. Overall, it was a wonderful visit and I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Irving!

This was one of the nicest, home feeling hotels I have stayed at in a long time. The courtyards, fire pits, seating, wooden decks, etc all were great. The restaurant on site had the BEST breakfasts for a hotel that we had ever had. I will be here again next year for our event across the street at the convention center. No doubt.

Accused me of damaging my room with no proof and there was absolutely no possible way I would have caused damage to my room. They removed the charge when I caught and questioned it.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the friendliest, most helpful staff! I honestly loved everything about the property! That I wasn’t able to make reservations for the restaurant at all for the whole weekend because it was completely booked up. I wish I would have known that I needed to book before I arrived.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were on the bottom floor with a view of a courtyard. They had live music at the restaurant and we enjoyed listening to it. We had an event at the Convention Center across the street and was great for us being across the street. The frig and table was full of drinks and snacks that you had to pay for if you wanted. It took up too much space in the frig.

I was totally impressed with this hotel! We will definitely stay here again when we return to fly outta Dallas! Had EVERYTHING to offer, staff was so kind & friendly! Restaurant was on point and the grounds with the pool, and fire pits are terrific!

Yes, but the room is open to outside, and the lower bottom of the door has gap. The beds are not comfy and it's a double bed, which is too small. At least they should have 2 queen bed rooms for a family of 4.

Everything was spot on perfect. Just a heads up. Valet parking is $18 + $18 amenity fee so it’s really $36. That was a bit off but other than that a great experience.

The restaurant on location was delicious! The entire property was beautiful. The fire pits around the courtyard were a perfect touch.

We had a wonderful welcome here! The staff took the time to introduce us to all the services and amenities, and showed us where everything is located. The view is truly beautiful and warm at night- no exaggeration! The room is clean, vintage, and lovely. The only thing that threw us off was that we booked a king bed, but the bed looks like a queen to us. No biggie, though - we really enjoyed our stay and might be back!

The rooms are almost too cozy that you don’t want to leave them. It is very convenient having the fridge and freezer in the room. The bathroom is spacious and the shower was nice. When I come back to Dallas, I’ll definitely only want to stay there.

Everyone and everything was fantastic. From check in with the complimentary beer and the fire pits in the courtyards. Wasn’t sure about the outside door entry but turned out to be extremely convenient. They do charge for parking but we were coming and going for 2 days and didn’t have any issues parking close to our side. The 2 Mules restaurant was really good. The hotel charges a $18 destination charge per day but they refund it if you eat at the restaurant. Prices weren’t to bad. Dishes and appetizers around $15 each. House Margaritas $10 and beers $4. The room decor was neat and the water pressure was great in the shower, one of my pet peeves. While I’m writing this review I just got a charge for a small water from the fridge which we didn’t use so there’s that. Overall the stay was exceptional.

I love the "court" hotels and have stayed in their locations in Lubbock and now Irving. Great vibe, love the outdoor layout, the live music, fire pits... everything!

Wonderful atmosphere in the courtyard style building, which shields this gem from all the modern architecture sourrounding this location. Large clean room with large shower, comfortable beds, thick walls (aka quiet), fun and thoughtful design throughout the entire facility. I'd totally stay here again!

The hotel itself was beautiful and the rooms were very clean and looked very nice my partner and I loved our stay here! I would give it five stars were it not for the extra charge for parking it’s about $15-20 per day I believe I just wish it was stated before hand so we were ready for it. Other than that the hotel was beautiful and it was in a great location!!

We loved our stay! The hotel is beautiful and very unique, which we love. The valet people were so fast and friendly. Every time we needed our car, we texted them, and it was waiting for us by the time we got downstairs.The rooms were so cute and spotlessly clean. Great housekeeping came early every day and replaced towels. A+ on the whole stay.

The courtyard was an unexpected highlight: cozy seating everywhere and a large fire pit that staff lit for us while we were relaxing outside - such a perfect touch. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making guests feel welcome. We ordered room service from the on-site restaurant and were blown away - truly some of the best Tex-Mex we’ve had. (We’ll probably write a separate review just for the restaurant!) Even though the weather kept us from enjoying the pool, it was gorgeous - definitely a place we’d love to lounge next time. The location in Irving felt upscale but relaxed, super clean, and close to plenty of amenities. We were right across from a very cool, modern convention center - great design and a fun backdrop. Considering the design, comfort, amenities, and overall vibe, Texican Court feels like a great value. It’s perfect for couples or groups who want something unique, comfortable, and a little bit special. We’ll definitely be back!

This is my favorite hotel. Love the retro, southwestern decor. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

The hotel was hoaring a huge wedding in the courtyard and the music was so loud that we asked to change our room. Front desk did it after we asked twice but they put us in two single beds instead of the king bed we booked. It was still very noisy until 10pm. Carpet in the room was dirty. Room service was a complicated online process. Not a very pleasant stay.

Surprisingly hip lil joint in Irving. The cold beers upon check in were a nice extra Texas touch. And the lobby smells amazing. Top shelf mini bar selection, comfortable bed and classy bath robes.

They over book themselves when it comes to parking if there's a concert going on. They'll let concert goers park on their property so the actual hotel guests have to park about a quarter mile away. Extremely annoying. Wish they wouldn't do that.

They cancelled our reservation hours before arriving due to overbooking.

I stayed here with my friends for the Xdinary Heroes concert and the staff were very friendly! I loved how it was just a quick 5-7 minute walk to the venue. I would definitely stay here again if there were another artist coming to the same area. I also think the price was great for three people and one night! The parking fee was also cheaper than other hotels I’m aware of that are really close to venues like that.

Great staff , great food and drinks. The best part is the pool it well maintained and they are lax with the drink policy on or in the pool area!

The place is nice and the staff was friendly. Convenient to the convention center. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious. My only issue really was the placement of the things to buy. The coffee table is filled with snacks to buy and the refrigerator is filled with drinks so that it is hard to put anything else in there. Also note the parking isn't free and will be about 25 bucks for a weekend stay. It is near the Dart station if you want to head to other areas of the DFW Metroplex.

This is such a unique and lovely property. We didn’t even feel like we were in the DFW area. We were transported to another place. Jennifer at check in was wonderful and even helped us out by taking photos of me and my best friend. Marcos in the restaurant wa terrific also. I will definitely be back.

The shower is awesome

There was nothing i disliked. I did find it very convenient that you could place room service orders through your phone without having to call.

Room carpet stained and extremely dirty. Shower pressure terrible and bed super uncomfortable, you could feel the mattress coils. AC unit super loud, not worth the price.

Hotel had a fun energy and the staff was friendly. I wish had more time to spend at the hotel to enjoy all it had to offer, but we used it for just sleeping. Bed was very comfortable and shower great spray and heat.

The staff is very kind, respectful, helpful and pleasant. The atmosphere of a hacienda is lovely. Coffee bar and tequila bar are crazy cute and baristas and bartenders were above excellent, as is the front desk staff and all of the very hardworking men and women who clean and maintain the place. It feels like home.

I would come back to Texas just to stay here!!! On my must haves for hotel is cleanliness. This meets my standard. Location is stellar!!!! Very clean. ✔️So close to Toyota Music Center. Lots of places to eat and drink. Extremely walkable. Its giving very very safe. The hotel vibe 💯.✔️ It is EVERY bit as cutie as the photos indicate. Bed was comfy, bathroom has a fan! There was a noise that was happening that we finally realized was the outiside gate but it sounded like a racoon!! We were alao able to do late checkout until 1pm and paid $30 to extend checkout until 3pm. So worth it!! We weren't told our key would stop working at noon and had to go to the front desk to get rekeyed which was annoying. Additionally, I missed that this is valet or paid parking only. If you park on the side its $10 a day. I think valet was $18. Anyways, the Two-Mule makes a mean smoked brisket quesadilla and the pool was EVERYTHING! As was our late night around the fire with other hotel friends. This may be my fav hotel ever!! Unfortunately I didn't photograph before we unloaded in the room so here are a couple outside.

The Texican is not your average hotel. The outdoor space was amazing. We really enjoyed the fire at night and the service was excellent. A very unique place to stay amid a see of hotels.

The room while comfortable and clean is starting to look dated. Service was good but the extra cost of parking was unexpected. The parking program charged me twice. I brought it to the front desk attention and they quickly rectified the problem. All in all our stay was a nice and relaxing getaway. This hotel has such a unique feel and vision. So happy we found the Texican and hope to make it back soon.

We loved the ba area and food was good. Like the wood burning fireplaces and retro feel.

I always love staying here, but there just seem to be many happenings that were different than the others. Last night I finally called in with a noice complaint, after apparently others had, and they finally came up and spoke to them. This was at 3:30pm. My room was also over the gym, and I am unsure on if people were dropping weights during a workout or if people on the third floor were moving around the furniture, but needless to say, I was finally able to go back to sleep around 4:00am, and was up at 7:30 when the loud noises started happening that at times were shaking the room. Overall, love the place and the atmosphere, but my second night was not the relaxing night that I was looking for. Also, we tried to get a table for three/four, saw numerous tables that did not have a “reserved” sign on them, there was no line of people waiting, and the only answer we could get was that it was an hour wait….not there is a line, not that these tables have reservations, just it will be an hour.

The hotel was nice. Staff were great. Room was comfortable with a very well stocked liquor bar although I don't drink anymore. Noise was a problem however. Lots of appliance noise (water heater, compressor, etc.) through the night.

I have a baby and they put us next to the gym so all night people working out dropping weights. The front desk girl was not very friendly either. Bummer cause hotel was neat! The Mexican place was awesome
