La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas - Las Colinas

We booked this place because of an airline delay and thought it was close to the airport, but it's not. When we got there, it was in a nice quiet area. Check in was good, nice people - but when we got out of the elevator and looked down the hallway - It felt and looked very rundown and dirty. I was scared to open the door to the room, but it was just fine. It just seems like the rooms and internal property hasn't been improved in quite some time. I've stayed at nicer places in bad parts of South America. Luckily we weren't staying long, slept well and caught our flight home at 4 am. No coffee - just raw dawged it out of there.

Nothing BED BUGS!!!!!!!! I stayed in a room with bed bugs, and Booking has not resolved the issue. I had to spend around $79 on my own to disinfect my belongings, and the hotel did not properly disinfect the room — they only changed the sheets. This has been extremely upsetting and unacceptable.

The overall property was so dirty that had my room not been prepaid I would’ve gone somewhere else…the room was in dire need of a good cleaning - and refurbishing. When you walked in the carpet you could feel that it needed to be vacuumed. There was an outdoor patio where smokers were allowed but no ashtrays were provided and for days the ground was covered in cigarette butts. The towels are so old that they shouldn’t even be used. The staff were so unprofessional and rude with even the smallest request that it’s a wonder they have any business, They won’t let you charge items from the little convenience store - but who carries cash? Save yourself the hassle and stay somewhere else. Oh, and when I was checking out, there was a young lady at the desk, advising the staff that there were bedbugs in her room! Sitting in the lobby with other guests, we began chatting about this subject, and I was informed that it is a continual problem at this hotel. Stay somewhere else!

The location was about it 8 minutes from Toyota factory as we were there for a Yungblud concert The staff tried accuse me of stealing a candy bar bc I set my water down on the shelf to verify the price of the water. Very rude claimed it was on camera but when I asked them to show me the proof they said never mind it was fine.

More food at breakfast, our room was nice, but ac didn’t keep it as cool & bathroom was painted over looks like water damage. Definitely a ceiling fan would help to circulate the air. But overall nice, will stay again.

Expedia notes this property had cribs and they do not. I have twins and needed a crib. Very disappointed

Pool needs a facelift

Amidst a s storm of canceled flights and customer service phone calls, this hotel was a lighthouse. Super grateful for a clean and safe place to rest that was walking distance to a grocery store.

Hiccups happen and I hope my next stay is better! Would still recommend people to come and stay!

Stayed one night 5/20/26. Was able to check in early (about 1 pm). Went to take a shower at 3 pm for my evening event was in town for, but was no hot water. Called front desk and was told "he would check the boiler and call me back". Waited an hour with no call back. Had to take a cold shower or be late for event. Next morning was same situation - still by checkout time, no hot water. Called front desk again to inform and request refund, was told have to talk to manager. On may way leaving stopped at front desk and spoke to manager Joe who said he would look into refund. Still no refund. The AC also took awhile to cool off room. Staff was polite. Room was clean except for carpet flooring was gross. Bed was comfortable. Hot water is essential and expected.

The hotel overall was not well maintained. It’s smelled of mold as soon as we entered the lobby. The hallway carpets were very dirty and stained. The room itself was roomy and seemed cleaner than the rest of the hotel. But the bathroom was very old and bathtub/shower needed replaced. We stayed three nights and every time we got back to the room for the evening our room keys didn’t work. We had to return to the lobby with all our stuff to have them reset. We didn’t expect much from the free breakfast as it was just complimentary but it was subpar at best. The eggs were watery, the orange juice was super diluted and there were very little choices of food. We will be back to the area but will not be staying there. The price and location were the only positives of the hotel.

Need more staff and better breakfast

I had an absolutely awful experience at the La Quinta in Las Colinas. I arrived to my room to discover that the remote to the tv was broken and being held together by tape, the television had sound but no picture, the bathroom was not clean and the door to the bathroom was broken and the toilet and shower were filthy. I contacted the front desk who informed that there was nothing to be done as maintenance was gone and so was housekeeping. She rudely informed me that it was a long holiday weekend and she had no other room to move me to as the hotel was full. She said she could “try” to come up to the room later to look at the tv. I went downstairs and told her I would need to check out and she rudely asked if it was just because of the tv. I explained that the entire room was unacceptable and questioned her as to why the room had clearly not been checked prior to check in and she could not explain why. I asked to speak to management to which she informed me that there was no direct way to reach the manager. As I checked out and took my belongings to the car she flagged me down in the parking lot and said she called her manager (after telling me this wasn’t a possibility) and said that due to the hotel causing the issue I could call Expedia and they would provide a refund. I did as she said only for Expedia to tell me that the hotel would not communicate with Expedia as promised and could not give me a refund. Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else!

We had 4 rooms. 2 of the rooms had TVs that were not working. The staff on duty could not get them working and did not seem to mind if they were not working.. The pool was pretty gross. It is sad that we needed to book 10 rooms next weekend at this hotel but had to change to a holiday Inn instead of facing bed bugs again.

The breakfast was the worst I've had. The water in the room was cold everyday we had to some else to take a shower. I will never stay at a LA Quinta again It's the second time we stayed are one I will tell I know about these places. I think we should be competitive for the worst place we have stayed at. Dirty carpets, not enough cleaning staff, our tv did not work, our pillows were filthy and I had to go in person to demand new ones, hard to understand the staff as they had a strong accent, they were polite, bathroom door was dirty and had chipped areas, beds were comfortable, breakfast food was very limiting, location was good based on where we needed to go.

The hotel is nice. When I stayed in February I had no issues. This trip the water was luke warm and my room smell like mildew. I spoke with the front deak and she informed me that it was a water boiler issue and it was like that in the entire hotel. She said that she couldn't switch my room because there were no more available. I sprayed lysol several times to try and help with the smell, but it didn't work.

I did not stay at the hotel went and got holiday Inn down the road. The hotel was smelly, theie were guests in the lobby complaining about about no jot water and the front desk clerk in flip flops said he dont dont know anything if you dont like the hotel you can ho sonewhere else and you have sensitive nose thats why you smell the mold. Its not that strong. And mind that he did walk into the room with me and said the smell is there but not strong smell.

Front receptionist young female had an attitude . To get towels I was told they were limited . I needed 4 clean towels for a two bed room 4 people . Only was given two in exchange for 4 dirty ones . Tv was not working in room and ended up ganging bedrooms at 11:30 pm!

The location was perfect—convenient to nearby attractions while still being in a quiet and peaceful area. I especially appreciated how calm and well-kept the surroundings were, making it easy to unwind after a busy day. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. My television went out on room and notified staff since it was a 5 day stay - we were just on our 2nd day . Left the entire day and tv wasn’t fixed and was told management had to fix it and wasn’t going to happen until after 12 the next day . No communication I had to go to front to find out information . One employee did move us rooms - had to do this all at 12am . Since I wasn’t going to be able to do next day. There was one employee didn’t get her name but young female working the front ( she was there Sunday at 8am ) I went to the front desk to find out why my key to room didn’t work and gave them to her , I told her I’m in room 2** and she said why do you have a card holder that says 1** I said I was there but got moved rooms , she told me in a tone as if that was an issue and told me in an attitude I’m putting both keys in this card holder . I let that slide tried to be polite and still told her thank you when she activated the cards and she completely ignored me and didn’t even say your welcome or anything. I’m the one that am disabled and had to walk all the way down the hall and remember change rooms inconveniently to a higher floor at 12am before. I also asked for some clean towels 4of them and was told by staff let me see what we have because we really don’t have any . I was in a two bed room with 4 guest in a hotel and was given two towels because it’s what they had. .The place was clean a one day stay might be okay no more because customer service sucks!

There was a smell of mildew when we went in our room . Breakfast was not the best , I wasn’t expecting a 5 star meal but they could’ve changed it up but it was the same fake eggs and sausage everyday.

I enjoyed the breakfast, and location the on site parking was also very convenient. After checking in we wanted to decompress a bit from the long day before getting ready to go to my sisters daughters party. Everyone decided to shower, however the was no hot water. My wife and two kids had to shower is cold water. After asking the clerk at the front desk about it he said to let it run for 10 mins, 3 people showered before I got back to the hotel that had to be more than enough time for it to warm up, it did not. Even after I showered it remained cold.

The carpet at the hallway and front desk were dirty and smelly. Advice to deep clean or replace with newer carpet. Also had to ask to change rooms since the first one had a wall damage in the bathroom. Issues with the hot water.

Do not stay here! We found bed bugs in one of the beds! The night clerk refused to give us a refund, allow me to talk to the manager by phone or give me anything to prove the time I checked out. I asked when I could talk to the manager. He told me he gets in around 10:00am. I called he wasn’t there. There was no one else I could talk to. He called me about 2:00 but didn’t give me a refund. He said it had to go through Expedia. Still working the process.

This was a great stay. Very quiet, I felt very safe. Excellent area. Newer construction with clean rooms. The only criticism was the breakfast was a little lacking, but I was fed and won't stop me from returning

All my stay was without hot water in the shower. The water was icy cold and the weather was not particularly warm as well so this was needed. On the first night the staff knew the issue with the boiler but still told me to try and let the water run and that it would work as they "troubleshoot" it. Called multiple times to be finally told the second day that the boiler was indeed damaged and that they made a note to speak with the manager to get it fixed. The day after I asked the lady at the front desk if a note was made or the problem addressed with the manager she let me know no notes were made. Then and there I realized they were not doing a thing, just stalling. For a chain hotel, this should have been quickly addressed or the issue should have been brought forward at check-in.

Omg where do I start. The first room heater didn’t work and the second bed had blood stains all over the sheets(I took pictures). They moved us to another room where the shower water was extremely cold for all three days and the toilet was stopped up. This use to be a very nice location but I have no idea what has happened. And the hallway smells like a football team locker room. I’ve been staging here everytime I go to Irving for the last 5 years and this trip was it for me.

The only thing would be the strong odor of marijuana that that was not not Pleasant other than that everything was great

The hotel was as described, convenient and quiet location. The breakfast options were very limited, nothing of substance. Our room was spacious but the AC was loud and malfunctioning. Unfortunately I didn’t realize the issue with the AC until after I settled with my infant daughter and small dog so I didn’t request a switch of room because I didn’t want to pack and unpack again.

I was misinformed about my receipt; I was told by the hotel staff that I would receive my receipt from Expedia (which is how I booked). Except when I contacted Expedia, they informed me that the hotel should have presented me with the receipt. The matter was rectified, but the misinformation was concerning.

Everything was good. My only bad comment was when we got to our room the air was not on and it took until the following day around 3pm when the room got cooler.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, but a bit inconvenient for someone with mobility issues. The elevator was out four of eight days and it was the longest hotel between elevator and stairs ever. Breakfast was awful, but I made other arrangements. Note, Im diabetic and seek out hotels where I can get breakfast. They messed up my check in and took almostca thousand dollars and then said my card declined. It took two days to get a manager and to straighten it out. Not a fun stsy this time.

2* hotel with modest breakfast spread. The scramble eggs were yummy though. Decent gym but a worn out outdoor pool and bath tub. Housekeeping staff is excellent. They gave me the ground floor which was a bummer as the windows had little privacy and dark in the room with the curtains. Booked via expedia. Misleading marketing as it rates as 3*.

Definitely a bit dated. The halls look like the carpet has never been cleaned. The room was ok, nothing exceptional. The pillows were a bit firm for my liking. It's a place to sleep and if needed I'd stay again. For the price it worked.

Impeccably clean, very friendly and easy check in and check out, comfortable sleep. Perfect place to land for an unexpected overnight while traveling through DFW.

Some of the filks there were pretty rude even a young delivery girl very very rude but the staff was overall great

The room was clean the 1st night. When i booked my 2nd stay, they kept saying they couldn't find my reservation however you could clearly see i had a prepaid reservation with expedia. They did nothing to try to accommodate. I ended up going to another hotel who had the same issue and they were able to create another reservation using the expedia info. This hotel DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to assist.. they didnt even care that we had been waiting a whole hour and i had my babies with me. Horrible.

Horrible stay. Front desk clerk who of course has no name tag is as rude as it gets. She doesn’t speak correct English and gets mad at you when you ask her to repeat herself and almost yells at you. She’s condescending, arrogant and treats customers as if she’s providing a free service. Breakfast options are horrible and if you attend the last hour everything will be rationed. Hallway smelled like wet rag and AC took about 7 hours to cool room down. We were sweating all night due to it constantly turning off. Would not recommend to stay, not worth the money at all.

The rooms and entire hotel are kept very clean. The front desk employees and the entire housekeeping staff are very nice, professional and helpful.

They were able to check us in early after we got off our red eye. The staff was very friendly.

Everything is great, but the elevator was not working during the whole stay and we had to bring our un luggage upstairs.

Bed linens are not clean enough. Bathtubs are chipped. The sinks drains slowly, and the drain stopper is missing. A lot of things are old and not well maintained.

It was a good stop over for a road trip.

There were bed bugs and i was bitten. Worst experience ever..still suffering from the after effects from the bites.

No one came to clean my room after I asked front desk twice.

Nice and quiet place to stay

I booked a suite to have a little extra room. TV in bed area had lines going through it and the other in the couch area didn't turn on. Couch was full of stains and looked very worn. A/C unit didn't work properly. In general, you could tell that the mgmt doesn't keep their property up. I will not be coming back.

Room wasn't as clean as they have been in the past. Hotel is getting dated and needs some updates. Carpet had stains and eyelashes stuck to it and was dirty along the walls as if they didn't vacuum there. Towels had lots of hair stuck in them

We always stay at La Quinta when we visit Grapevine, and we can't complain! The place is clean, and the breakfast is great—my family loves it!
