    Renovated rooms. We were initially given a room that appeared to be renovated and clean. Unfortunately, the key card would not work with the door’s keypad, and the receptionist was able to open it with the the master key. We were then moved to another room, but this one was not as clean as the first and couldn’t speak to the front desk because it was closed by the time we returned. We encountered a few cockroaches, and the restroom walls near the sink and microwave area were noticeably dirty. Also there’s a no smoking area and we could smell the use of cigarettes throughout the hotel.

    The room condition was alright for the price there was some slight damage like the blinds missing pieces, burn holes on the toilet as such. I didn’t like that everywhere smelled like a thick curtain of smoke the elevators were dirty and old. Also didn’t like the blankets provided were just literal thin sheets but all to be expected as it is an extended stay definitely could’ve been cleaner though. The staff was very nice as well as the other guests pretty quiet and secure.

    I never been to this property nor will I ever again I booked for a family emergency and next time I would rather sleep in my car. I arrived and the entire place smelled like smoke even the NON Smoking rooms I booked. I then was told the counter person that for my two pets I would need to pay $110 cash only deposit which I thought was insane seeing how in their website it’s $50 PER STAY $5 per pet which would have been $60 not $110 and not cash only I had to sit on the phone with customer service which delayed my check in time by two hours to get it straightened out the rooms were filthy and made all my clothes and items smell like smoke I got no sleep from the people banging on the outside doors to be let in all night and not wanting to lay in that bed I woke up with a severe rash on my neck from the two hours of sleep I had to force myself to get to drive back home the next day don’t stay here ever!!

    The hotel is dirty and unkempt as you can see in my pictures, the hallways always smell like cigarettes and other substances. The rooms are not bad but the appliances are old and rusty. However, the WORST thing about this place is its the CUSTUMER SERVICE. After the second week I had an extreme noise problem that occurred after midnight in the adjacent room. I reported it and after a week the employees at the reception offered me to room to switch. After asking for permission at my work and having packed everything, in a rude and contemptuous manner they told me that I could not move, that the only option I had was to make the report at the time of the disturbance, and when any member of the staff go and VERIFIED that there was noisy, they would let me know if I was authorized the change or not. I informed them that there was no telephone in my room and they told me that there was one phone at the entrance to the hotel, so I can go out of my room when the noise initiated and dial 500 from there, in that way any of the staff members can go and verify it. Please don't go there, don't waste your money and time. The worse service I ever had.

    I was given a tour by Front desk and notice all floors had a strong pungent odor..The only okay floor was on the 4th floor. I reserved a room for the weekend for 166.00 and pd cash 260 they don't give change so added another day an given a receipt.I was bringing my luggage in and reservation was change by a Gentlemen stating price was increase and showed me a deceptive paperwork with Choice Hotel...My first time staying here was so diappoimted..The gentleman was so rude and disgusting and telling his own staff to be quiet when she tried to explained the reservation. The front entry door is broken, the elevators flooring dirty. I can smell cigarettes smoking when Touring.This place is full to capacity and the owners can't even Shampoo carpet or hire housekeeping to keep the place clean..The fourth floor has barking dogs .The extended stay looks okay on the outside but need improvements on the flooring and pungent odor buy a bottle of air freshner for 1.00..My room was okay becsuse quote management rm..but shower curtains moldy and sink draining slowly..

    The front desk was really good. They were dealing with a lot but were always warm and engaging. Though this was a non smoking place there was a strong smell of smoke and weed in the hallway through my stay. Often it would even come into our room. The room was dirty, one pillow with no pillowcase, the microwave had a hole burned into the case. The remote to the tv did not work. The screen was busted on the window. The bedside table had no drawer. Unfortunately the elevator broke and we were on the top floor. Seemed to be lots of drama with tenets.

    I went to Houston for business trip for 3 days and it was the worst stay. When I first checked in, first thing they asked me was not to stay in my room next day from 10am~5pm so they can spray the pesticide... The hall way smells like foods and noisy from dogs barking. (I smelt ppl cooking, and incenses out on the hall way) It seems like there are many ppl staying at this location for a long term, 2weeks~ a month. The first room they took me, smelt like cigarettes'. I switch to the different room and as soon as I opened bathroom, I met a little cacarouch friend on top of the toilet... And I was surprised they dont even provide shampoos or conditioner... only a small hand soap was provided. If you are ever going to Houston, pass on this stay.

    This hotel is absolutely the WORST I've ever been to. It smelled funky, it was very very dirty! There were roaches and dirt everywhere in my room. The carpets were stained badly. The beds were small and squeaky. Fridge had rust stains all over. The entire place creeped me out. I tried to get a refund for my one night stay but they wouldn't refund me.

    it was a good 1 night stay. Good wifi. Comfortable. Furnished with all i could ask for. Of course there were no dishes, silverware or pots and pans,, but 1 should not expect those things. Get microwavable food or get pots and pans. Refrigerator practically froze some liquid items, so I would just turn it down. No real problems at this location. I will be going back there.

    The staff was excellent nice and professional but the property listing is misleading. This is a residential hotel not a hotel and there in lies a major problem for out of town visitors. People live here continuously which changes the dynamics and makes it not acceptable for visitors. This is an apartment building not a hotel and it has all of the problems of an apartment building. People hanging out outside smoking marijuana dirty hallways and elevator. stained sheets and a kitchenette with absolutely no utensils pots pans glasses nothing. You must purchase these items and that’s the only way you can have them but for people on vacation it makes no sense. this is a bait and switch long story short it needs to be taken off of Expedia. Don’t be fooled by the beautiful photos this is a dump inside a literal trap house

    I was so disappointed upon arrival , I booked a double bed with Expedia once I got there they informed me previous staff over booked , I spoke with the assistant manager who checked me in and had a rude attitude ,asking if they didn’t notify customers or the update since me and my family friends came down from Louisiana for a party so it was 5 of us now way we could sleep in that one bed , the excuse was people extended stays ok that’s fine so reservations mean nothing cause they privately owned . .     I checked in around 8pm and requested a check out and refund by 9:30pm. The room had a serious roach problem, on the ceiling, in the bathroom and "kitchen area". Upon leaving I was told the reservation would be cancelled and that I could request a refund from expedia. Well here it is a week later and I receice a message from expedia, stating "I spoke with WoodSpring Suites Houston Westchase and they decided to stick to the terms and conditions of the booking and not issue a refund."...... In the times of COVID, this is totally unacceptable, are the rooms even geing cleaned?....

    Everything about it was amazing. The staff was really kewl & down to earth, I love the location in the Chinatown area, so there is lots of asian culture in this area. Plenty of amazing food, beverages, deserts, etc, etc. My only complaint is that the WiFi is too slow. 4 or so Mbs I believe. Not all that great, but other than that, an amazing warm place at an affordable price 😁👍

    I liked that room rates at Woodsprings Suites were very reasonable and the staff were accommodating. I gave my approval of the room I was assigned to after a quick inspection (room, bed, bathroom and kitchen area were clean and acceptable), but upon closer inspection, I found areas that needed improvement. For example, the breakfast table in my room was damaged at the base so that it was somewhat unstable and leaned on one side or another depending on the area of the table where I placed weight on. It happened to rain heavily during my stay, and I found an area of the carpet wet apparently due to some gaps between the air conditioner and the wall where it was located. The exterior of the building was beautiful and the grass area for pets relatively well kept. As a person who likes to spend time just sitting outdoors, my only wish was there were benches or outdoor furniture in public areas outside the building. Parking wasn’t too painful, however, the establishment only has one shared parking entrance along the beltway which made it easy pass up and I would have to drive around a few blocks for another chance to enter the parking lot. Some tenants were also a bit noisy (I won’t go into details), but I would agree with other reviewers that Woodspring Suites was a good value for extended stays.

    I got the wrong room according to my booking. The room I was given was not cleaned and floors has sticky spots. The smell is very bad it gave me headache. The shower heads and the toilet doesn’t work properly. . Requested for room change when the next rooms according to my booking is available but 1 week of staying there no change. This definitely has ruined my trip.

    One price does not include, all service. You have to pay for everything. Not good for the price. Some of the staff are friendly and others not so. Elevators smell of urine, even though they try to keep it clean. Unsavory people that stay there.

    The hotel was very noisy. THe walls were thin. THe front desk refuse offer clean towels. Stated that I had to be there 2 weeks inorder to get room service when I requested clean towels. Asked about garbage being emptied stated that I need to take trash to dumpster,

    There was nothing special, it is what it is! There's no lobby & no one available after 9p. Even though there is a fridge, 2 burner & microwave, there was no coffee maker.... This location is probably good for a trucker... Beds a little lumpy & we killed a small roach.

    Toilet water flushing mechanism had an issue. Had to lift the floating ball after each flush to stop the water running noise. Staff was rather courteous. The bath towels were a bit too thin and small.

    Check in and is already a habit of checking the bed first covers dirty there was crumbs still on them. The sheets dirty had blood on them and hair on them. No shampoo there was nothing in the room but towels and that’s a soap. Hall ways smell like ten pounds of marijuana I ask for a non smoking room still smell like mariguana.
