Our stay was amazing. We had plan to take in a Houston Astros game and this location was a convenient 2 minute walk to the stadium. Additionally the room was amazing as it was very spacious and comfortable. We definitely will be back.

Every staff member we talked with was great… very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was wonderful… many very tasty options available! We will certainly stay here again next time we go to an Astros game.

Breakfast was amazing. Many options. The free shuttle service, within 1 mile, was a wonderful surprise. We got to go the the movie theater without needing our car or walking in the heat. All staff was pleasant and helpful.

We didn’t have any issues with the hotel however because it’s located downtown, the rooms are noisy and we forgot to take that into consideration when booking the hotel

All was great, except for the sleeper couch. It was absolutely horrible. It was more like a cup, and the mattress was extremely thin. It was like lying on a bar the entire night.

Definitely recommend! Very clean and everyone is very friendly. The only thing I did notice out of my 3 day stay they did not come to clean our room, not sure if maybe they don’t offer to clean while we stay for more then one day but it would’ve been great if they did.

Hotel is nice. We had an issue at check in and couldn’t get into our room until 30 minutes after check in because it wasn’t done being cleaned. After getting to our room the housemaid left something in there. Knocked on our door for two seconds, not even enough time for us to respond, and then proceeded to try to unlock our door and come in. Thank goodness we had the latch lock on or they wouldn’t walked right in. On the day we left, the same thing happened. Another housemaid knocked real quick, again not enough time for someone to even respond, and then unlocked our door and tried to walk right in again. Other than that, our stay was great!

Floor was covered with carpets in certain areas by the entrance as it seems tiles are cracked or removed. Bathroom toilet tank was leaking. Overall, it was ok (4 out of 5 stars)

Everything was great. It was a busy weekend in Houston so I am sure the turn around time for getting the rooms ready were fast. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the tub still had a dirty ring around it and the water kept backing up in the shower. Otherwise the staff, room, location, and breakfast was amazing.

If there is an event, do not stay on the 4th floor. It’s openly attached to meeting rooms and so loud.

The hotel wear doing some remodel action, my room have a very strong smell coming from the bathroom, I informed the front desk 3 times, there never came to check.

First room given had not been cleaned notified front office and Ivy quickly came up issued us a new clean room with a great view! Ivy was so sweet and helpful during our whole stay! Theo was really nice also saw me struggling and offered to help carry stuff up to our room! Jesse in the valet was super nice also! Will definitely be back!

Room was spacious and our suite had everything we needed. The only reason I didn't give it a five star was the parking situation. Valet was extremely expensive and we chose to look for street parking.

Hotel is a little dated however excellent location for the convention center and facilities, staff go above and beyond, room was large with kitchen, towels not scratchy, shower worked, have bar with friendly staff and also a little happy hour midweek with free wine beer and antipasti, I will go back.

Had a work venture at the convention center and this place was incredible. Walkable to the convention and to several eateries in the area. Never felt at danger walking at 6:30am or 9pm. Would absolutely be back so I have more time to enjoy the breakfast!

Parking no parking unless you valet and that can get really busy with no room to park to unload for valet at times.

This was one of the best places we have experienced in a while. The service was friendly and accommodating, the rooms spacious and filled with amenities, and we had a really pleasant time speaking with our congenial bar tender and other hotel guests. We will definitely stay at Homewoof Suites in the future!

We had a wonderful visit while in Houston. The team at our hotel was one of the best. When we were checking in, there had to be 8-10 other “check-ins” waiting. Both Wolf and Ivy were awesome! They treated all of us waiting and checking in with a smile and made sure everyone was treated as their only customer! Our stay was on a Saturday. Check in was good as was check out. Clean room, clean hotel, great breakfast option. However the restaurant on site was ok of course very busy due to astros game and hotel full. But the 2 people working bar taking orders werent very friendly. The woman was rude. The margarita was gross with jose 1800 tequilla should have tasted better. It tasted watered down. It was $12.00 for a clear small plastic cup. The woman left my card just laying out on counter and walked away leaving anyone to see the number on it. She also was rude when we ask dif queso come with chips she said read the menu. When confronted about leaving my card laying around and letting anyome see it she just walked off. Very displeased with wait staff. But overall hotel stay was good and comfortable for a night after a baseball stay. Very close to stadium and restaurants. Loved the view and the welcome sign on tv when entering room!

The first room we were put in the couch had stains all over it.. the commode was stopped up…the coffee pot was broken …… all the soap dispenser in the shower were empty… after unpacking all our stuff .. they moved us to another room … that room was ok but it’s soap dispensers in the shower were also empty and underneath the kitchen table there was spilled coffee of coke that had not been cleaned up… so it was obvious that that both rooms were not cleaned 100 percent and checked out before they were given to someone else … this it total unacceptable with the price we paid for two night… we should not have to go into a room that has stains on the couch..room floors not being properly..cleaned soap dispensers empty and etc and move from room to room for the price we were charged

Fantastic big room for family of 4. Breakfast was good - liked making waffles, coffee not so good. Handy for the baseball game. Valet parking worked well, worth paying for I think. Easy access to walking in the city.

I enjoyed my stay at this location. It was perfect walking distance from the convention center. Parking lot behind the hotel was priced decently. I will be returning next year. I loved everything about this hotel. Surpassed my expectations.

My only complaint, when i checked out after my 3 night stay, i was charged an additional 180 for valet parking 😤 from my understanding it was included in the stay.. one thing i dont like is hidden fees ...

I’m from Louisiana and they have Nevada address.

We dropped into Houston to catch an Astros game with some old friends. We walked from the hotel to a nearby restaurant, Xochi, to dine and catch up. Afterwards, we walked to the stadium (my wife was in a walking boot due to an injury) which wasn't far and enjoyed an exciting MLB game in which the wrong team won, but it was still fun. After the game we took a short, safe walk back to the hotel to spend the night. Super convenient!

This property had lots of great features. The parking lot out back had a ton of noise from fast and furious style party and there were cops circling every night I was there.

There is a parking lot across from the hotel and at night people gather there and rev their engines so loud we heard them on the 14th floor where we were staying. This went on for hours, the hotel is wonderful but won’t stay there again because we didn’t get much sleep because of the noise.

Went to the Astros game and close enough to walk. Rooms were clean, water was hot, and parking across the street. Breakfast in the morning was nice.

This was a great hotel, convenient to the convention center we were going to and close to many things downtown we could walk to. It could be a little loud at night when all the cars were "racing and revving", but that was also entertaining. The room had a slight musty kind of smell, but overall we enjoyed our stay

Location was great close to Astros ballpark and a Catholic Church(both 5 minute walk if that,) also few blocks away from convention center within walking distance . Room bathroom had sewer smell at times otherwise pretty clean.

Front desk was unpleasant during check in. The 8th floor had two huge commercial fans drying obvious flooding right as you exit the elevator on the 8th floor. The smell of mildew was prevalent. Within 30 mins of checking in some guy opened our room door claiming to be maintenance for a service call that must’ve been reported prior to our check in. Unexpected and intrusive. Shortly after he left housekeeping attempted to enter, by this point I had taken extra measures to lock and fasten the door. While she was apologetic, it was apparent no one was aware that someone had already checked in. Last time I stay at this hotel.

The only hotel that I've stayed at where the breakfast was on delicious all week. Everyday it was a different option to choose from. The only thing about the area I didn't like how there weren't any gift shops near by.

I really enjoyed the stay. A friend of mine and I were in town to watch an Astros game. Service at the hotel was great. Jesse who was doing the valet on Saturday was top notch. The only issue and it wasn’t a big deal but hotel maid came what seemed to me a little early in the morning. We didn’t even hear her at the door until she opened it and was about to walk in the room

I really enjoyed the stay. A friend of mine and I were in town to watch an Astros game. Service at the hotel was great. Jesse who was doing the valet on Saturday was top notch. The only issue and it wasn’t a big deal but hotel maid came what seemed to me a little early in the morning. We didn’t even hear her at the door until she opened it and was about to walk in the room

I would recommend booking directly through the hotel and not through a 3rd party such as Expedia. The teens do donuts in the parking lot across the street and harass people. Additionally they try to get into the gym. Otherwise, the staff were awesome and good on site food.

Excellent location in downtown Houston. Tons of restaurants within walking distance, also a really neat grocery store is 4 blocks away. The hotel itself is clean, well kept and the staff and valet are very friendly.

Room was overall okay. It was pretty dusty, the dishes were not clean, and the ac made a terrible rattling sound that kept me from sleeping. When I informed the front desk, they said they would have someone take a look, but it was never addressed. The walls were very thin, so I could hear everyone around. There was no self parking so it's either part $55/night for valet or shuffle the car around different parking lots/street parking yourself. Once the hotel got more crowded, it took 10 minutes once calling the elevator for it to arrive and most of the time, it was already full of people so no one else fit on it. The room cleaning was every other day and the staff will respect your privacy sign request.

Dawn at the front desk was amazing! Very friendly and offered many dining and entertainment options that were close to the hotel since we were traveling from out of town. The hotel was clean, quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We would stay here again if we are ever in the any in the future.

Good location, which is a short walk to the conference center. Location could be unnerving if you haven't been to downtown Houston recently. Often there's homeless folks nearby, but they weren't intrusive. Experience is relative, so I'm not as alarmed by things like that. Could do without folks smoking marijuana just outside the entrance. Room is large and well equipped. Large bedroom/living area with full kitchen. Always useful when having left overs or sometimes a late breakfast. Showers could do with some updates. You can see the wear in the room if you look for it. WIFI was decent speed though and decent amount of outlets. Real downside was the smell in the 10th floor corridor though. Smelt like the carpets were wet too long and never really dried. Really obvious when you exit the elevator. Wasn't an issue inside the room or in the lobby areas though. Free bfast was good. Good variations including fruit and sufficient quantities. 24hr coffee is a plus. Small mart area near lobby, but decent priced grocery shopping is very nearby. Staff were kind, helpful and always greeting. I will give them a thumbs up for their staff attitude and training. Considering the location, I may stay here again, knowing the prices of the other hotels in close proximity to the conference center.

Stayed at this hotel because of how close it was to Minute Maid Park! We valet parked when we got there and just walked to the stadium for the games and that made it so much easier than trying to park in a public parking lot. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful

Very close to Minute Maid Park, but there was a ton of noise outside very late (mostly small dick drivers of cars with loud exhausts). Would have thought the Management would have called the cops but didn’t.

The nights we stayed there the noise on the outside was horrible ... the first night it lasted till 3:30 in the morning ... the second night we asked to be moved to another room and it was just as bad ... we have stayed here a number of times and never had this problem ... the second night the young lady that moved us might need some more customer relation training .. she said this what not yalls problem but it is not our fault either so something needs to be done ... we pay to stay at your place but we do expect to get a good nights sleep and this did not happen either night ...

Upon arrival, there was and issue with my reservation. The hotel manager and the front desk staff did not want to assist at all and I was told to reach out to Expedia directly (which it did turn out to be an Expedia issue). The hotel manager said they would honor the error, however, 2 days into my stay I received the charge for the additional fees on my card. The first room they gave us had a horrible stench and the couch was horribly dirty. When we informed the front desk, the room that I was switched to was no better by a long shot, which I informed the front desk about as well. We was spraying air freshener every time we entered our room to mask the stench. Room service was horrible. We had to contact the front desk several times to receive any of our requests for linens and even an iron because the one in our room was broken. Getting an iron took over 3 hours and we had eventually left our room to come back with the iron on the table (forget that we had the privacy tag on our door for a reason)… I am very easy to accommodate and usually do not make any complaints about a hotel or its staff but I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Houston.

The sofas in the rooms are stained. I switched my room twice and still ended up with a room with a stained-up sofa.

Very clean. Perfect hotel for going to Astros game. Had a breaker trip in the bathroom when using blow dryer and bathroom door would not shut if the toilet seat was down due to wrong size toilet seat and close proximity to the bathroom door. Staff was prompt with fixing issues. Will definitely stay again.

Very disappointed in the staff and response to request. Asked four times in one day to have housekeepers come since I was paying $500 for the night and they never came. And no apologies

Couples trip and throughly enjoyed our stay. Enjoyed the Wednesday evening snacks with free wine and beer! Breakfast was very good and hot. Quick check in and nice staff. Easy parking and had a shuttle service as well.

Great one night stay with some friends to attend a Dynamo game. Close enough for us to the soccer pitch. Great restaurants and bars in the area. Our room was a very spacious room that was well kept. It was our second stay here and we will be back. Definitely recommend.

All was very clean and staff was very helpful. There is only valet parking 55.00 a day.
