Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the staff and assisted promptly with check in. The room was clean and neat to our liking standard amenities. The breakfast and other amenities were great!! Thanks Holiday Inn!!

I had a great stay at Holiday Inn. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, professional, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The room was quiet and relaxing, which made my stay very enjoyable. After a disappointing experience elsewhere, Holiday Inn exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

I registered at check in for late check out due to my husband being in a late meeting and at check out they first came to clean the room which I thought was funny because I requested late check out. They then called my room saying they did not see that I reserved late check out and would have to pay an extra $75 if I were to not leave soon. So I packed all my things and am now in my vehicle til 4pm at least not knowing where to go or what to do. The guy who called my room also had a snooty attitude with me on the phone. Other than this I enjoyed my stay.

I only like the fact that it was in the location that I needed to be in. Check in wasn’t available until an hour after 3:00pm check in time. Hotel was dirty. I don’t know if it was a banana peel or black rubber on the 5th floor, but it wasn’t cleaned up my entire 2 nights stay. Staff wasn’t hospitable, I was told I needed to come down to the front desk to get towels.

I was excited to stay here because management was super friendly and the hotel looked modern and clean. However, I probably slept for maybe an hour the one night I stayed there. The chemicals in the sheets were really strong so I had a hard time breathing, plus I was itchy all over. I came back home with a rash and just really drained from my trip.

Wonderful 4-night stay in a clean, comfortable room. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a superb area of Houston - safe, secure and convenient (I-10 a mile or so away). We did not eat breakfast so I did not rate it.

There was an odor about the room. The shower door would not stay closed, and the towels appeared to be the original towels from when they first opened. The last thing was that you were required to park your vehicle in the gated area behind the hotel, which was great; however, when leaving, we were unable to exit as the exit gate did not work. My husband was required to knock on the window to get the clerk's attention since he did not have a key to get back in after we checked out. The staff were all great and very accommodating, which we appreciated!

Our door lock was not working. They gave us another room but it had queens. I can not fit on one with my height. Every time we left there was a possibility that the door might have been opened. The staff was very short with us. Internet stopped working, and there was a gas leak in the area to boot. Will not be going back there.

We had an unexpected lengthy stay due to my husband being very sick. Front desk staff, each and every one, was very helpful with making sure he had what he needed! Veronica, from housekeeping was wonderfully accommodating to our situation: removing trash and leaving fresh towels. If one has to be sick away from home this was the best other option!

They changed out booking last minute when I booked well in advanced. I needed a room with two queens and a day before they switched me to a room with a king and pull out couch. Didn't give me any partial refund for the difference. I had to ask and reason for breakfast vouchers and they only gave me two when I told them I needed 2 queens for 4 grown adults. They had random people walking around outside at all nights and loud kids running around inside the lobby and hall ways late at night. Requested extra blankets for the pull out couch and they didn't have any. 1/5 stars overall.

Additionally when I asked for some dinning plates and silver ware the request was declined and was provided with styrofoam plates and plastic spoons. The staff stated the it’s the policy of the hotel to not provide dinning plates and silverware. It was altogether a horrible experience.

A lot of the rooms are located very far from the elevator so if mobility is an issue ask at the front desk if they have anything close to the elevator.

Continental breakfast was not included because I use a third-party for my booking so I had to pay an additional $10 per person for a continental breakfast and my microwave in my room wasn’t working. I was told I had to wait till the next day for maintenance. However they never came to fix the microwave and management was rude. The desk clerk was nice, but the manager was rude.

But, do not acknowledge the "True facts", about what was explained plus shown to the Assistant Manager; and they continued to proceed with their daily duties. However, this has been going on at every location of Businesses, that I know i am Owner. This has been a long time coming for the Real Owner, after going throught so much behind this "[One individual]" that wishes to be me.

Our stay was excellent. The staff was friendly. The beds were very comfortable. We have stayed at this location several times and will continue to utilize this location when in Houston.

Booked for a staycation for son. The bar and grill was closed so we had to leave site to eat. I planned to read a book and relax while man son enjoyed the pool. The pool is not heated. It was freezing cold, so the main purpose of our trip was ruined. He couldn't enjoy the pool. Went to the room only to find the TV did not have service and there was no maintenance on duty so we had to pack up and switch rooms. The bed was comfortable. Then after all of that my good night sleep was ruined by someone knocking on the door at 9:30 to see if we’d checked out so she could clean the room.

This hotel is terrible! Expedia said the breakfast was free, but the hotel changed plans and now charges $9.99 for cold scrambled eggs and bacon. There's was a small black gizmo glued to the front of the TV. This thing looks like a camera, has its own power source, and when unplugged, does not adversely effect the TV function. The same thing was on TVs in other rooms, but in a slightly different area - always facing the bed. The manager did not know what it was. Don't take the elevator to the 5th floor, folks. The elevator shakes and shimmies at the 5th floor. It makes a loud and frightening, old-cable-wearing-out noise as it reaches the top floor. There is no TDLR inspection certificate displayed. And a small sliver of soap for 2 people to use at the sink and the shower is much to little. Just sayin... The cleaning lady started knocking on our door at 8am an Sunday morning. And she continued to knock every 30 minutes for the next 2 hours. Guess she REALLY wanted to make the beds. I DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Do better, Holiday Inn. Do better.

Expedia advertises a free breakfast, but the hotel charges $9.99pp. The buffet was small, the eggs were cold, but at least staff was kind and helpful. The hallway leading to the rooms was very hot - and in Houston, hot means HUMID HOT. It makes for an uncomfortable walk, when the room is at the end of the hall. There was a small black button-shaped gizmo glued to the front of the TV. This gizmo had its own power cord and was camouflaged with the TV frame. I unplugged it and the TV still worked fine. Other guests had the same type of thing on their room TVs, but in a slightly different position, each time facing the bed. When told about the TV "addition" the manager said, "I'm not sure what that is...I will find out and call you." Of course, he did not call. The room was comfortable, but a tiny sliver of soap is not quite enough for two people to wash hands and bathe. I understand the need to reduce costs, but I'm not sure soap is the right place for cutbacks. The disposable cups were wrapped in plastic, but two of then had already been opened. Was this the result of a previous occupant playing a prank or perhaps due to lazy housekeeping? Still dont know. Either way, ewww. Do better, Holiday Inn Eldridge Energy Corridor. Do better!

For the price I paid I was expecting this stay to be so much better. However, my room was terrible. The carpet was filthy, the bathroom wreaked of urine odor, the room itself had a smell, the room wasn’t cleaned but twice throughout my stay, and the noise from people upstairs which I complained about and wasn’t resolved. I wish I could of been accommodated better for the condition of the room which I complained about but again, nothing was done. I will not be booking a room here again.

We were at the hotel for a 2-day conference. The Holiday Inn accommodated our 120- person group very nicely. The room was large and comfortable. The only thing was that the hallway on the 2nd floor was warm it felt like there wasn't any airflow but other than that, it was a good experience.

No shuttle service. Their restuarant is permently closed. I was not informed. I pick this hotel because it had a restuarant. Disappointed! No free continental breakfast they charge $10. They need to update thier website to guest can know all this before booking.

Paid before arrival for a double king bed room. Checked in @ 8pm and was given double queen. I asked for a double king and she stated known were available. Very upsetting considering we drove and just arrived late. I asked for a room rate change and was told yes but it was never given. Im sure becauae i paid before hand and its 3rd party. But i questioned if thia hotel even has a double king bed.

Property was very clean and neat

The hotel staff was very unhelpful and unprofessional. No alternatives were provided. Note that we arrived at 11 pm at night and were expecting to be able to check into a room that we had reserved months in advance. Will never stay there again.

When we checked in service was horrible. I had to stand there for about 10 to 15 minutes waiting for someone to come to the front desk I had to go down the hallway to meet the person to check in then to make it even worse she was video chatting with someone never got off the phone a lot of cursing and personal business being handled never really spoke to me at all only told me what room number I was in didn't tell me where it was at didn't tell me anything about the hotel didn't tell me that kids ate free in the morning but adults had to have a card Service was really bad. In the pool Tried to enjoy that however it stayed extremely cold guests were allowed to run and scream beyond measure and nothing was ever said they put you on a floor with a lot of kids that like to run around and scream and jump and make a lot of noise Other than that the hotel was OK

Very dated hotel. The front desk staff was very unprofessional and maid service kept entering our room even with the do not disturb sign on the door. I was told they offered a free breakfast, which was only served between 7:30 - 9:00 am. Many of the guest missed breakfast and serving hours weren’t displayed. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all.

Was told upon check in that a room was not available, despite having paid thru Expedia days before, they even had my reservation in system. Then given a room that was not clean, smelled like pee. Switched to a one bed smoking room. Front desk unorganized, management not to be found. Little attempt to make things right. This hotel has some weird stuff happening here- rooms were taken "off the books", folks allowed to stay another night, leaving those with reservations without rooms. Bad representation of a Holiday Inn

The check-in took very long, issue with payment, holding deposit, had to do multiple tries and finally went through. The room condition wasn’t very good - the curtains from one side were broken. Not enough pillows to give us. Out of bath towels the next day.

There are plenty of dining options at a walk-able distance, area is safe and clean.

But iat room was very noisy from next room and if some one knock next room door you will thought your room . It’s really noisy you can heard people talking and screaming from other room neighbor , it was nightmare

Front Desk staff EXCELLENT Housekeeping can improve cleanliness. Bedroom sheets stinky and my first room. Not clean.
