Staff + rooms were big Has the “old building” smell. That’s not something I don’t think they can change though. Was NOT a deal breaker for me or my family though.

Hotel carpet was loose and cause everyone to trip the grout on the shower was falling out and the tiles was falling loose from the walls we found cockroaches in the bathroom

The hotel itself was clean. The hotel doesn’t require you to register your vehicle and my car was towed. The car was allegedly parked in the wrong place and the didn’t call to ask it to be moved bed or make sure it wasn’t a guest. The staff was rude.

Location between Baytown and central Houston was good I gave 4 days notice that I needed to change the check out date of my stay but it was never approved. I asked everyday they said the “general manager” would get back to me but he never did. 3 weeks on and still no reply from the hotel or the general manager. The hotel blames booking.com and booking.com say the hotel need to confirm. With regards to the facility, there is not much in the area and the gym has no aircon.

Our reservation was cancelled without my knowledge. I arrived for my stay only to be told that our reservation had been cancelled. I was told that an email was sent to us but I received no such email. Terrible experience to travel half way across the country only to arrive and be told that your reservation is cancelled.

I went on the first night to get ice and a roach came from underneath the ice machine. I made sure that I did not leave any opened food in my room due to the depth of the door to floor ratio of Room 126, the height was enough to push a bagel under the door, which should not be able to happen. The room was spacious with the two king beds, which was a joy sleep on each night. The mattress was of great qualty.

Room smelled moldy, shower didnt have much pressure. Breakfast was great but need more than one person to keep the food refilled. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Good place just needs some updating.

Great breakfast & loved the king size beds. However, room could use updating and a deep clean. Traffic from interstate was LOUD. Walls & ceilings were thin. We heard people walking above us and doors opening & closing into hallways at all hours. No hot tub as listed as an amenity. Would not stay again.

In addition, the breakfast was top tier. We were fascinated with the automatic pancake maker. Everything was hot and fresh each morning.

Front desk lady was nice and was able to answer questions i had upon checking in. Exercise room was hot like a sauna not sure if that was intentional. Breakfast hot 1st day but meat was cold 2nd day and little wet as if it was out of freezer. Besides hearing kids in hall and slamming doors in the middle of the night, the room was nice. Kept fan on in bathroom otherwise it smelled kinda like mildew. AC worked very well and the ceiling fan was an added bonus.

Let me begin.... the room has a FAN! The restroom has a vent AND the shower pressure is wonderful. Husband absolutely loved those little detailsthat other hotels don't offer. I enjoyed the spacious room, spacious bed, and amenities... the shampoo, conditioner and body was an excellent choice (DOVE) and felt great on skin. Breakfast was dedelicious, we went down to the lobby 30 minutes before the end of breakfast and we still were able to enjoy the entire array of options. Others that arrived past cutoff time (9:30am) also were able to enjoy. So excellent hotel all around, this will be our go to for future Houston trips. The lighting in the room, great. Multiple lamps and again, did i mention a restroom light AND a vent? Check was fine, however the lady at the front desk had a very "not wanting to work" attitude.. I understand, she was young and it was a Saturday evening. The iron that was in our room didn't work too well and spilled water, however I think that was user error as it worked well with me the following day.

I had a nice stay just old smell in the room shocked me. Woke up and carpet was wet AC leaking, that would maybe explain why I was hot, not sure. Breakfast was great, real cooked food not just things u can grab.

I should have asked for another room, but I didn’t think any were available at the time. I really hope management takes this feedback seriously because this hotel has great potential!! Everything else was great, just disappointed in the room this time.

The location was decent for us. Far enough from the big city and close enough to NRG stadium. I liked that it was set back by a shopping center. Felt safe. Newly updated. Nice looking hotel. Double king beds AND a ceiling fan were my favorite parts! The smell when you opened our room smelt like mildew/wet. They had a humidifier in there so I assume there was some type of spill. It was awful. The people above us had kids stomping and running all night long. I had to complain at 1am and 4:30am and I was finally able to fall back asleep. Pool area is nice. Breakfast was great! We did have a decent sized spider in the room.

I absolutely loved Ms. Brittany! From check in to our night cap she was so amazing ans friendly. She was so personable with my children and they loved it!!

I arrived early in the morning, but the receptionist let me checked in early, really appreciate that. The room is spacious and all the amenities are there. The breakfast is good, although it is the same everyday. The location is quite far from the downtown of from any shopping mall, but bus 137 bring you right to downtown. There is a bit of damp smell whenever I first entered the room but it went away after a while.

The staff were very helpful and receptionist also very helpful my family and I stayed for a week and our room was cleaned daily and anything we needed we would just ask and it would be given to us.

The pulled out mattress was so filthy with stains. It looked like it came from the dumpster.

This was a last minute, unexpected stay. The staff at the hotel was so very friendly and helpful and enjoyed ensuring that we had everything we wanted/needed. Very kind staff and great location.

Our room was nasty. When we entered it smelled like mildew and cat pee. The tile portion of the floor was sticky - gross. Around 10 pm we located the source of the smell — the air conditioner was leaking into the carpet. It was so flooded that the carpet would squish. Nasty. I’ve taken a video of my husband’s foot squishing in it and the AC leaking but I can’t post it. They offered to move us but we declined at that point since we have a little kid and didn’t want to go through waking him and getting him resettled. We were only there for one night. In the morning, we found some blood on the sheets, near the headboard. Staff and housekeeping were very nice. Breakfast was a free breakfast— not bad but not worth paying extra for either. Food was fresh. We plan to reach out to IHG over the state of the room, because it was obvious in the morning light that this wasn’t a short term issue. It had been wet and mildewy for a while.

Property maintenance , daily rooms cleaning was good, staff were very friendly and breakfast was awesome.

Flew in from New York to find out they were closed with no power with nothing but a note on the door. They didn't even give a phone number to call for reimbursement or with estimated dates they would be opening.

Rooms are just as seen on pictures. Stay was comfortable and accommodating just great for our weekend trip.

It was close to alot of restaurants. Cops parked on the back area. Pool was dirty whole time we were there. Breakfast was cold. Beds were comfy and ac was either freezing or warm. Train passing by at night wakes you up at night.

We had a great stay! On our second night, the A/C in our room stopped working and they upgraded us to a bigger nicer room for no charge! They definitely have excellent service and all of the staff were super helpful and friendly! Will stay there again when I'm in that area!

Room would have been nice if not for the plug in air freshener. There were 3! The smell is overwhelming. They are all marked ''DO NOT REMOVE' We removed them so we could at least breathe. Hotel is ok, kinda worn down, but fine for a night.

The Manager let us check in a little earlier because plans but us there earlier. Rooms were very nice and clean. My room was really big and I had a lot of space for the price I paid. Holiday Inns are very good hotels and we’ve added this specific location to or list. Thanks for having us.

Nice, clean, quiet and noticed police driving around twice, giving us a safe feeling.

What a great option for staying outside of the city. Easy drive to NRG stadium and downtown. The room was spacious and very clean, and the bed comfy. If I "had" to give any negative feedback it'd be we wished the water pressure was better, but nothing to make us rate this place lower or not stay again. We definitely stay here again!

Smelled like cigarettes and look worn down

Easy and fast check in. Quiet, peaceful and very comfortable night sleep. Stocked on toiletries. Very clean. Good, warm and filling breakfast. We had left the hotel for a few hours already and noticed that my son had forgotten his headphones in the room. He was so grateful when they told us that they had found them.

Love the fact that they don’t use cheap soap. All soap is Dove products. I would stay there again.

It’s a nice hotel with a friendly staff, but they claimed the pool was not in service and they do not offer room service as stated on their website.

Room was hot, hallway smelled like mold, swimming pool closed, and breakfast attended was hovering over us like we were taking to much!

The beds look much bigger than queens. Booked two queens. The room was good, no complaints. Near dining and shopping and a movie theatre. Just off the freeway, booked with that knowledge. A positive stay.

Staff is terrific!!! No proper response at alllll…. Have to call and wait so long in the reception for them to come and attend… We just said in the morning that we don’t need house keeping that day, but later when we washed and asked them… they denied. Though the staff was just next door doing the house keeping… the house keeping staff too did not even bother when I called 2 times run just 3 feet away to ask for something…. We started for 2 days and they did not even provide water bottles for the second day… we only had 2 8ounce bottles when we entered the first day… the next day they wanted us to buy it…. Or else go to the gym and get water on any cups… Aweful experience!!!!! This property is actually good with the room and cleanliness… may be this particular staff group is just taking it for granted…. Overall clumsy staff… not friendly at all…

My only hiccup was when calling a couple times to confirm room details, such as which rooms had a pull out couch or not. I got mixed information. However, overall a great experience!

The Hotel was nice very centrally located and the employees were very friendly. But the rooms I got and the room reserved for my boss smelled and felt damp. So much so that my clothes smelled musky when I left my room in the morning. This is not acceptable.

It was a good experience. Perfect for my one night stay. The parking lotis pretty small. My only complaint was the room had a slight smell but everything looked very clean and it was comfortable. Ac was perfect. I like to keep the room cool. I would stay again.

Vending machine drinks are dated, need to ve replaced with newer replacements. Washing machine broke down, I had to hand wring all my clothes before using dryer. Front staff did give me another round for the dryer since machine broke down so that waa nice. Rooms had a nice smell, but my sheets were not changed there was crumbs ane hair in both my beds. The mattress protector needs to be changed out, too many stains in my opinion. Parking is good, breakfast is free , hot and decent choices. Pool is standard wish they had towels for outdoors. And check in/ check out process was quick, friendly and kind!

The small refridgerator rattled and made horrible loud noises, I finally had to get up and unplug it to get any sleep. The AC/heating unit only worked at 62 or 94, nothing in between. We were cold, then after turning it up were sweating, so finally we froze most of the night.
