Carpet needs cleaning. Room had a seldom bad smell. Thinking maybe the carpet!? I would definitely say carpet needs to be cleaned.

Very close to the airport, and there's a shuttle from 5 am to 10 pm.

Front desk staff were not very welcoming, I was pleased with shuttle service provided especially since they were so close to airport. Room was very nice and roomy, the carpet had a smell. I appreciate this was a place to settle in for one night 🙁

My go to location when traveling

My stay was cool, the room was clean, the cable worked no problem, it's as close to the airport as possible and there's a lot of food choices nearby. The staff were gracious and polite. Only down side was my room was by the elevator. Wayyy to noisy for a good night's sleep but since I was in dire straights, it all worked out. Not my first choice for a hotel brand but always reliable in my experience.

The room was OK when we checked in there was blood on the blanket like spots so I don’t know if it was really clean. The shower curtains had blood spots on that in the inside. The staff was pretty good and cool. The breakfast was OK when they say buffet, it wasn’t a real buffet. It was like you get one scoop of eggs, one scoop of potatoes, two sausage sausages, two bacon and that’s it and then you could get like the drink the fruit the muffin it wasn’t what I expected specially for the amount hours what I paid for the bar was excellent was nice and strong. The food was pretty good as well.

Bar Expert was phenomenal and friendly. All staff was exceptional, besides sick lady that ran us to the airport, pretty sure my son has what she has and is probably going to miss school because of it. Clean hotel, super convenient for airport, pool & jacuzzi was well maintained and refreshing. Still 5 stars from me besides the 2 things mentioned. Thank you and would stay again no doubt.

Just one night before an early morning flight; the restaurant served a delicious steak dinner. The 5:30 am shuttle was on time and perfect!! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

We had no shampoo. In the middle of a shower that is a disastrous mistake by housekeeping. They responded relatively quickly. The comforter had buggers on it. They need to be more careful when cleaning.

Changed our reservation from two queens to a king. Said that they were busy and that’s what happens. Waited an hour for a burger and a salad in bar dining area with lots of empty seats. When we gave up and started to leave the bartender yelled at us because “we’re busy!”

The facility is very clean and updated. I was accommodated graciously under very challenging circumstances. Hobby Airport was a chaotic overwhelming situation. The TSA staff is not being paid and so majority weren’t showing up. After a six hour wait on Sunday, March 8. I still wasn’t able to make it through TSA. I went online and booked a room at Hilton Gardens. On March 9, the shuttle left at 4 AM and after 2 1/2 hours in line I was able to make it through TSA. The one thing I would note regarding Hilton Gardens. The soup was delicious, but there were only like 4 ounces that really is outrageous at nine dollars. The salad was minimal at best. There’s only one worker doing it all attending the bar and also handling the kitchen. She was overwhelmed.

The hotel is nice and clean! There were just a few issues of broken fixtures. For example, the bed side lamp and the shower curtain rod were broken and sticking out of the window. The staff was kind. They promptly provided extra travels and blankets when requested.

I liked the proximity to the airport and the airport shuttle/shuttle. I liked that the shuttle will take you anywhere within a mile distance from the hotel. I liked that there was a restaurant on site.The food was delicious and cooked to order.The restaurant staff and day manager Russell were very friendly and accommodating. The bottom of the bathtub didn't look clean. I was soo looking forward soaking in the tub. I used the shower instead Housekeeping doesn't clean daily.

It was also nice that there was a restaurant on site and that breakfast was offered as there are not any restaurants or stores near the hotel. They do charge for breakfast which we felt was pricey, and the restaurant was also expensive for what it was but the convenience was worth it to us.

The room was spotless and the staff when I checked in was extremely professional and nice. I had an issue with my tv and I called the front desk and he called the cable company and had them fix it and called me to make sure it was working. He was so nice and professional and I wish I could timber his name.

Everything was great except I thought I paid for breakfast when I reserved the room but I was charged again this morning.

Room was very clean, and ready for an early check in. We had breakfast and it was a buffet but the cook prepared the egg, sausage, bacon and potatoes freshly and brought the plates to our table, while we helped ourselves to different juices, coffee, muffins and a variety of bagels and other breads. There was also cereals and oatmeal choices. The cook as well as the desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Had a great stay.

What was supposed to be a fun family-and-friends birthday celebration quickly turned into a roach motel experience at the Hilton Garden Inn Hobby Airport on Monroe Boulevard, Houston, Texas. Imagine stepping into the shower only to be greeted by a roach crawling around the bathroom. Disgusting, disappointing, and completely unacceptable—especially from a hotel carrying the Hilton name. Who wants to shower like that? We immediately notified hotel staff and followed up with emails to corporate. The response? Apathy. No real concern, no meaningful resolution—just a sense that this is somehow normal business practice. It’s not. This place needs to be fumigated ASAP. Cleanliness and guest safety should be non-negotiable, and this stay fell far below even basic standards. Anyone thinking of staying here should seriously think twice. A birthday celebration shouldn’t come with unwanted pests and indifference. I want my money back!

the rooms were clean and comfortable. we enjoyed dinner in the restaurant downstairs. amenities were nice. the hotel was convenient to the airport and car rental facilities. the neighborhood was quiet.

The pillows were way too soft. I even tried to double it over, and it still went flat.

Something that stood out, it wasn’t crowded but a few people ordering food. Sonia was working bar, taking food orders and cooking. Not sure if this is normal or cook called out. The reception desk person that evening did not come over to help her but stood at desk and just wandered.

Room wasn’t cleaned well. Pieces of plastic and crumbs still on carpet around bed area. 1 of the bath towels and a piece of hair stuck in it when I unfolded to use & the shower floor pan was very worn and discolored, along with some mold in the corner of the shower wall.

Hilton accepted my reservation, charged me the room fee, even though they were fully booked and did not have a room to sell me, but they sold me a nonexistent room and charged me for it This Hilton hotel was fully booked did not have any rooms to sell and yet they took a reservation from me. Sold me a nonexistent room and charged me money. And then told me I would have to try to work to get the money back if I wanted to, but they could not help me at the hotel.

I booked this room for the hot tub I asked when I checked in if it was open and the front desk said yes but let them know if the hot tub wasn’t hot so they knew it had an issue because it wasn’t hot and when I called the front desk they sent maintenance to do something which made it warm for like 10 mins then the heat went out again. Our Keurig coffee maker was broken in our room. I expected more from a Hilton property.

I would not stay again. Rented 7 rooms. No outside food or beverages allowed in common areas. Bar and food does not open till 4. The shuttle person was absolutely rude and entitled. She even mocked me and two of my guests. Manager talked to her and she could have cared less. It was not what i would have hoped for at all.

Staff unfriendly, room window blinds didn’t work, called & was told they didn’t work in my room. Told them that was unacceptable, sent a maintenance man who had told me they told him I complained about the safe, no & desk knew, then he showed me how the blinds remote worked. Desk manager very rude

When I got there, the associate had to walk me to my room because they did not have any cards left to give me so I can go in on my own. The bathtub was a little dirty. Breakfast was $14.95 for some crap. My expectations weren’t high, so I wasn’t disappointed. Only stayed one night. The employees were nice though.

Nice place. Right by Hobby airport. Clean, safe. Only 2 complaints are you have to pay for parking as a guest (i know its because non guests would use as a free parking lot when leaving town but still). And the AC is locked and you cant put below 69 degrees. Was a bit warm and humid in room. Overall i recommend. Nice people.

The toilet was broken. No free parking in an uncovered small lot. There was a yellow puddle in the shower. For check in the desk was unattended for a while. In room switches the same check in lady didn’t inform us the room was ready she just assumed we’d eventually come downstairs because she couldn’t leave her desk. She didn’t call us or send someone up to tell us our room was ready. At no point did she communicate we needed to go downstairs for our new room. And apparently there is free WiFi but you need a code that wasn’t posted anywhere in the room in the pack with room keys and you weren’t told about. And the tv WiFi was broken anyway.

Our room did not have hot water, multiple lights did not work, the complementary water bottles were already opened in the room, lotion bottle was empty and a/c would not go below 68 nor stay on which made the room hot.

The details are not there. Bathrooms were gross & leaks in dining area.

The shower, sheets, microwave in my room were very poor. I assumed they would have at least checked the room before someone stayed in it. Which tells me, there poor supervision and management involved. When I spoke to the manager, she not only didn’t care about the staff being unprofessional but also the cleanliness wasn’t a concern for her. The manager never bothered calling me about how they addressed the issues I had, it felt like she wanted to stand up for the staff over the customer who paid them. I would never recommend this location to anyone moving forward. Plus you could definitely tell, you’re near an airport. The head chef was extremely unprofessional and rude. The cooks also gave small portions

This hotel is clean and very convenient for proximity to rental car facilities. Staff was friendly and the beds were comfy. We did not love having to pay $13 to park (surprise) or $9 for breakfast. Additionally, it was $14 for pancakes. Breakfast did include a decent amount of quality selections though. Room 320 kuerig does not work.

Outstanding experience when picked up by the shuttle bus. Francis was an absolute joy, & is a credit to your organization! His customer service went above & beyond!! The room & meals were great, though a little pricey, as hotel restaurants always are.

Everything went very well - until I returned to my car parked in the hotel parking, which is a paid lot: My windshield was cracked. The windshield was in perfect condition when I parked last night. The receptionist reported that his car had been damaged in the lot a few weeks earlier. Of course, there was no video available.

The property is clean and was very well located for my needs. The 24 hour shuttle is wonderful. Staff is pleasant and friendly enough; however, I requested replacement of the room coffee maker after my first night and although I was told it would be taken care of, it never was. The mini fridge did work well either. I stayed 5 nights. Also, it was very inconvenient that the laundry facility was out of order & the parking vendor was a complete nightmare. I rented a car that had unpaid fees and they tried to make me responsible for it, including late fees, and accused me of freezing my credit card when they clearly charged me TWICE a day for overnight parking. Hotel staff did help me navigate and communicate the issue via phone and emails for a complete refund and I think I received a small credit from Hilton as well.

This property was amazing.

First of all, I don’t want to say it was bad, but I’ve just had better quality from Hilton stays in this time and location in Houston. I traveled all the way from Fort Worth to get this experience and it really wasn’t great quality at all and I’m very shocked because the Hilton standard is different than what I experience here in Houston.

The property was clean and close to the things we traveled to Texas for. The girl who checked us in was not very friendly. I didn't like that I had to pay for separate parking. The parking should be included in your stay.

My truck was stolen out of the parking lot. Workers could’ve cared less. Asked to see camera footage and was told it couldn’t be accessed.

It was ok. Only stayed there because was close to airport. Parking lot felt sketchy and unsafe. No food options for late check ins and nothing close to hotel that looked worth going to. Not a good area to be in

Everything was great about my stay. They even let me have a late checkout on the day i was flying out because my flight wasnt until late afternoon. Great service and great stay.

Everyone was so kind! The shuttle driver, Francis, was so helpful. There was a long line at check-in, but they worked quickly to move everyone through. This is the nicest three star hotel I have stayed at. The room was immaculately clean and very comfortable.

The property was clean, however the bathroom ventilation was non-existent. The bathroom was sweating so badly that a shampoo dispenser dropped off of the wall. The toilet was too low and as a tall senior citizen it was extremely difficult to sit down and get up from the toilet.However, I did enjoy the free snacks and water.

Pretty affordable compared to the other hotels around. Awesome friendly staff which made the experience much better. Only cons is the fan in the room wasn’t great, the bathroom fan did not work, and there was a huge cockroach in the lobby. Hoping theres no more than just the one I saw.

I have stayed at many hotels and resorts through the years for work and family vacations. I have no idea how this hotel has such good reviews, which is the main reason we stayed here. The only positive is the staff was nice. But now my debit card keeps being charged for parking for 1 night (keep in mind this is at an Inn with no gated parking lot.) The room was old, outdated, & just dirty. The floor was sticky - so we wore socks. Bathroom rusted. The carpet had been torn out in part of room which indicates that at one point either stains that would not come out or bug infestation. Would not ever stay here again.

We arrived after 11:30 pm and we were greeted by the wonderful reception. We missed our connecting flight and had not eaten, they had a 24 hour shuttle and they took us to McDonald’s! The driver was great and our flight left at dawn and they were ready to take ua to the airport at 430am! The service was amazing!

more than 5 cars got broken into the. ight of my stay. I payed 17 dollars for parking and my car got broken into. The Hilton said they’re not responsible for damages in the parking lot. 17 dollars for parking and no security guard. This is the last time i’ll stay at this locaction.

Front desk agent at check-in appeared to have a long day. When I got to my room, it was warm and a note on the A/C to use the smaller unit. When I started the shower, the water never got warm/hot. The room didn't get cooler, so I asked to move and they promptly provided a new room that was cooler and had hot water. The morning staff the next day were very friendly and cheerful.

Two comments: It is very close to the runway/airport and flights started departing around 5am so there is the noise factor. Also, the area around Hobby is a “crummy “ neighborhood.

Barely lukewarm water in shower. Bad smell from wall heater. Apparently Hilton points expire since I opened the Hilton app and went from 110,000 points to zero. Really no reason to book at a Hilton.

The A/C in my room barely worked & it was a hot/humid day & night. Needless to say, I didn’t get much sleep because I was uncomfortable. Additionally, the pillows were probably the worst I’ve ever encountered…more like bags of loose lumps of foam. Seriously, for the amount of money charged per room, customers should at least be able to sleep comfortably. After all, isn’t that a hotel’s main goal?

This hotel met and exceeded my needs. The cleanliness and friendliness of the staff was top notch! Im glad we were able to change from the Sonesta to here. This is my type of hotel. My boys were excited about watching the planes take off and land.

First I want to stress the staff at the checkin were very friendly and helpful. However when we got to our room there was blood on the comforter and sheet, meaning either the sheets were not changed from the previous guest or the cleaner bled on the sheets. Either was when I reported it the front desk they said the cleaning staff had left for the day. They did have someone bring up a new comforter but they did not strip the old sheets, make the bed or take the comforter with blood out of the room. They just tossed the new comforter onto the bed in a pile. I

Stay was great!

I stayed here thinking we were receiving breakfast vouchers since I paid $50 more a night ,.that wasn't the case. And they also charge for parking. I stayed here 2 years ago with no problem.

I will definitely stay at this hotel again.
