My spouse and I stayed several nights and it was pleasant and not once did we have an issue with anything. Manny was a sweetheart and every staff member was polite and willing to accommodate all of our needs. I highly recommend that you consider this motel over any other.

Last year I stay on this hotel and as well for this year I’m giving a 4 stars just because I notice that the floor was not full swept everything else was all good, I really love and wish to stay on this hotel, every year I travel to Houston because we have an event from church and that’s the nearest hotel.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Sofa and coffee table add a living room and I slept like a baby on the soft king size bed. Breakfast is plentiful with quite a variety of options. I highly recommend it for couples. Staff are always willing to accommodate. Top 10 in all of the Houston area for sure!!!

First and foremost the staff were very rude! When I arrived at the property before booking I specifically asked about a sleeper sofa as I had 2 adults and one child. The lady confirmed they offer a sleeper sofa and it shouldn’t be a problem. However after I booked is when all the issues occurred!!!! For one they said I will be asked to leave the property if they find out I have any guest or more then two people in the room at a time which is completely ridiculous. Not to mention the property is in such a sketchy area. Then on top of it all the bed was extremely uncomfortable and hard. Lastly to top it off the breakfast was mid but not only that they said you cannot take the food back to your room that you have to eat it in the cafeteria. Like they micromanage every move and make and do not make you feel comfortable at all. However the rooms are 8/10 cleanliness but everything else is deff a zero! I will not be going back at all! I booked based on reviews but this was not the experience I thought I was getting at all, definitely disappointed in this experience.

Small apartment sized fridge with large freezer. Small microwave on top of fridge is hard to access for shorter people and door hit the fridge door hinge attachment mechanism so didn't open fully. Could use a towel bar in washbasin area; larger towels and luggage rack would be nice. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, good lighting, included a king size bed, love seat, coffee table, desk with chair and large screen LCD TV. Price was great! I would definitely recommend. No towel bars and no luggage rack.

I booked this hotel purely by chance. Upon arrival, I was impressed by how comfortable it was. Congratulations to the entire staff—from the moment I arrived to the comfort of the room, everything was excellent. The breakfast, in particular, was superb. I originally intended to stay just one night, but I ended up staying for three. I recommend this hotel 100%. I will be returning to Houston next week, and I will definitely be booking here again. We had an other reservation with another location and it was absolutely horrendous so we booked Haven last minute. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and were given a snack pack filled with water and snacks. They were very kind, explaining everything to us, giving us information about the room and breakfast. Upon entering the room, we noticed how clean it was. They offer essentials that other hotels normally don’t offer. The bed was very comfortable. Yes, like some reviews say, the location is not the best however, their hospitality made up for it. We will definitely be staying here every time we come to Houston. Thank you again, Haven!

I cannot lie because I was worried when I first saw the location but this is the second time I have stayed here and both experiences have been excellent. I cannot comment on the breakfast because I have not tried it.

Check-in and check-out was very easy, staff was friendly, and they gave us a gift bag with 2 waters and chips. The room was very cute and clean, had fridge, microwave, kitchenette with sink, coffee maker with coffee and all the fixings. The outdoor area had swings, benches, chairs, and a grill with plenty of lighting. Breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from like eggs, sausage, tater tots, fruit, pastries, waffles, yogurt, cereal, milk, juice, etc... Only 10 minutes away from downtown Houston. I highly recommend!

The staff was friendly. Location is not great. It's right off the highway which was great but location was kinda sketchy. Lots of homless living under the highway. We never have our rooms cleaned while we stay at hotels. We left our "do not disturb" sign on the door but when we came bank they came in the room and made our beds. What i found more odd was that if they came to clean the room, without permission, you would think they would have taken the trash out as well... but they did not. They did however turn off the ac while there were in there too. It was almost as if they only came in to snoop. Was not a fan.

Although i did not order a smoking room, i think they put me nearby a few of them, i was constantly bothered by smoke my whole visit, i said something about it but i was told they would talk to them just for me to still deal with it. The breakfast is better than expected but dont be fooled like i was, this is not downtown and theres not even anything notable truly, overall just maybe go somewhere else.

Complete scam in the lobby Was never allowed to checkin even after using another booking app to reserve room. I lost 89.00 three times at this Hotel.

This is hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed in and I travel solo a lot. Not only was a very decent price on thanksgiving day but the staff was very accommodating. The front desk staff were very nice when I checked in. The check in was smooth and quick. My room was on the second floor and I was able to see my car from my room. The room was súper clean.it smelled new and amazing. The room was a king size bed. The room had a sofa warm and inviting decor. What I loved the most was the great microwave and fridge combo. As if that wasn’t enough. The hotel had complimentary shaving kit, toothpaste and toothbrush. And even makeup remover and a shower cap for us ladies. I loved it. It just added to the whole experience that I hadn’t experienced even in high end hotels. To add to this before I forget I was given water and chips in a cute complimentary bag. I thought that was súper sweet especially after a long drive. I highly recommend this place to anyone that really wants to have a great clean and safe place to relax.

The staff was very courteous, respectful and as accommodating as can be. The room was clean, the breakfast was phenomenal and overall the hospitality was amazing. The only cons are there were no working vending machines and the distance from the hotel to any restaurant is fair so maybe someone with a food truck should try to establish a business along that stretch to ease the burden of having to walk a good distance to get to a restaurant.

There's not much around the hotel. The title says downtown but it is not downtown. Its off the main highway that leads to the downtown area. But youre not far. A 15-20 min drive gets you to downtown. There is a strip mall plaza about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. I would definitely stay again tho. Super friendly sraff

I was under the impression this was a Hotel but is actually a Motel. The area was not very nice. The lady at the front desk was very friendly, but it make me feel unsafe when i noticed her office/lobby was very protected (like in the banks). All doors were locked she gave me the keys through the bottom of the glass protector, it did not felt very welcoming. As soon i walk in the room I was not feeling safe. I let them know and gave them back the room key and a bag she gave me with 2 waters and a bag of chips as a welcome gift. I asked if they could please give me a refund but they refused. This motel was not what I was expecting, I won’t recommend to stay here. Luckily i was able to stay at SpringHill Suites Houston The Woodlands, was the same price and it was an actually Hotel.

Very friendly staff who are professional. The check in was simple & they even give you a nice treat consisting of water & snacks. The room was clean, shower water pressure is good. They proved all toiletries in case you forgot to bring something, & the AC is cold. This is my 2nd time here & will definitely come again.

This place is amazing! I checked in with my daughter and the front desk guy was so friendly and helpful. He greeted me with a smile and even gave us a goodybag. The room is fully remodeled, clean and big. The location is close to downtown and easy access to freeway. If you need food there are plenty of food nearby. Also they serve you with free breakfast.

I've stayed here a few times and it has always been exceptional. The most important thing for me is cleanliness, and this place is clean.

So stayed here cause it was close to Meow wolf and they had breakfast. The room was 111, if you stay here make sure not to stay in 111. There was a gun shot in the middle of the night around 230am that woke us up. Because of this alley behind us (picture provided), I never went back to sleep out of straight fear. Breakfast eggs were powdered, the tatortots were microwaved and tasted old, etc I could go on and on I'll say this, it was 94 dollars pay the extra 40-50 bucks and stay some where safer and better.

This is a new motel that definitely provides value for the money. It is close to the Heights and downtown where there are many great dining options, too many different kinds of food to mention. The motel was clean, quiet, and had a very decent breakfast.

The room was nice. The only issue is that it said it came with a soda bed, but it was a loveseat. My friend had to sleep cramped up on a loveseat, which gave him back problems throughout our stay.

We arrived early after a long flight and they gave us a room immediately with the specifications we requested, about 4 hours before check in. To check out we have some health issues and we asked to do it two hours after the regular time. They nicely agree to help and they didn’t charge extra for it. Definitely a place to visit for a safe, clean and convenient accommodation.

Just because this place is located by a highway frontage road, do NOT think this is a "truck-stop." Once you enter, you will meet very friendly, respectful and professional attendants. The parking lot, stairways, hallways, rooms and breakfast room are squeaky-clean. The rooms are very well equipped with a small fridge, microwave, coffee makers and comfortable bed, nice furniture and TV. Everything is like new. The breakfast is complete with fresh fruits, eggs, sausage, veggies, waffle, breads, cereals, and variety of juices and coffee. It's served until 9:30 a.m., but they will not mind if you steal a few minutes after that, as the personnel is very nice and willing to accomodate late commers like my sleepy-head. Only con was I paid for a non smoking room & it smelled like smoke a little not too much where I wanted to leave or complain. I’ll definitely book again.

Very clean property, the room, lobby, breakfast area, and breakfast provided was very good, great variety of options. The room was got too cold for us a few times, and the water pressure was a little low for the shower. There were so many positives though, we would stay again.

I love the breakfast, upon checking in I didn’t see anywhere that breakfast might be served but there is a secret room. And there are so many options and it was very clean. The only thing I didn’t like is that it’s not advertised that they have grills outside, if I would’ve known that I would’ve put something on the grill.

Breakfast was nice I choose to pay at the hotel during the booking, then they tried to charge before my arrival me something on my credit card that did not allow the transaction. After the failed payment attempt, the reservation was cancelled automatically without notify me. I had to pay for the same room 20$ more, not a big deal but definitely annoying.
