Nice and clean. Fantastic location! Can walk to town, in the middle of the nature reserve, saw lots of wildlife. Lovely town with lots to do in the surrounding area.

Location, vibe and staff all wonderful. We visit Hot Springs a few times a year, and from now on, will stay at Happy Hollow. Love that they are dog friendly!!!!

Great location and it’s such a cute motel with friendly staff. It’s tucked away at the end of a short street of hotels and at the base of a mountain, but still close enough to bathhouse row. The bedding and towels were clean, but the rest of the room hadn’t had a good scrubbing in quite a while. Under the beds and under microwave had a build-up of dust. The toilet had not been cleaned under the rim or around the floor in (guessing) months. The toilet needed to be plunged but plunger is provided. The beds were comfy and I slept great.

Quaint older motel in downtown Hot Springs. The bedding has been upgraded and is very soft and comfortable. The air conditioning works great. Small fridge and microwave, some rooms with kitchenette. Free parking. Walk to town. The couple that manage the property are very sweet and helpful. This is definitely our go to place to stay in Hot Springs.

Home when traveling thru Hot Springs. Quiet, and the National Park is right outside the door.

Very cute, no frills motel. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, excellent location. Shower was a bit small but acceptable for a short stay.

The cutest little gem of a hotel located in the Hot Springs National Park. This was our 4th time staying at Happy Hollow and we'd stay here again anytime we're in Hot Springs. It's a retro looking motel that sits in the National Park. Rooms are always super clean. Staff is friendly and gets you whatever you need. Loved that our room was so spacious and all for a great price. Walking distance to the hikes of course but also to the main drag in Hot Springs.

I have absolutely zero idea why this property is rated at a 9.2. It is in a great location, but it is definitely showing it's age. The drain in the shower doesn't drain quickly enough, which is surprising as the water flow out of the shower head isn't strong. Perhaps that is why there was hair in the drain when we checked in. We had to make a trip to Walmart to pick up Febreze as the room had a very damp smell to it. Does it have a kitchenette? yes, but the microwave had food in it when we checked in. Would I stay here again? Actually yes as the problems were minor and the location is the selling point. However, the only way this could be rated at a 9.2 is if it is in comparison to a Super8 or Motel 6.

The young woman who checked me in was extremely helpful and gave me a nice history lesson on the area. Perfect location for a weekend stay.

Our stay was great. The property is a little dated, but did not take away from our experience at all. It's a cute little place within walking distance of all the fun stuff. Pet friendly without the extra fees was nice too. Only issue is that the pillows were not great. If you care about pillows consider bringing your own.

Beautiful location surrounded by woods. My room smelled of mildew. Bathroom needs updating.
