Motel 6 Garland, TX - Dallas

Too many big dogs and owners don’t pick up thier droppings, people sitting on stairs in your way not moving over, every night I’ve stayed there’s people being a bit to loud or overly loud late at night playing music banging on walls smalling doors being loud outside your door arguing. The hotel is good minus the lobby microwave I prefer one in my room.

Terrible. Old old property. Hasn't been updated or maintained. Roaches in my room and the bathroom. AC didn't work . The bed was very uncomfortable. I was so tired, I feel asleep anyway. But woke up with the worst backache ever. Will not stay here again.

My room had roaches, visible mold in the shower because the shower had a continuous leak, and the bathroom reaked from the smell of mold. Neither Expedia or the property sees it fit to refund my money even though I left @ 3AM because of the roach issue

Found multiple roaches in room, got moved rooms twice.. still nasty. If I'm giving money to stay at your establishment it should atleast be clean and bug free, I don't care how low your prices are. I should be able to get a refund but was told its "nonrefundable".

It's close to where I work. They don't accommodate when you call front desk. They don't like to answer. They tend to give you same room over and over.

The location was convenient. I reserved a smoking room but when I checked in there was none available, but did say we could smoke in the room they gave us since none were available. The night staff was nice and helpful. The lady in the morning was very rude and unpleasant to deal with. If u stay more than a day you will have to go to office to have them fix the card to get in ur room every day very inconvenient for sure. The room had roaches bad. The AC barely worked in our room. A lot of homeless hanging around property doing illegal things in stair ways. The vending machines were empty and everything that was close to walk to was closed to get a drink or snack. Was never informed that they had an elevator to get to 3rd floor so we were taking the stairs.... See above comment

Sheets had cigarette holes, the floor was nasty, Air conditioner was not working properly.

I have no problem at all with this motel I would recommend it especially if you have furry kids. I was fortunate to have a room that I could park right in front of my room. Way easier with my dogs. We felt safe and comfortable in this motel 6. There were many people there with their pets and it was a good place to stay. Plus Walmart delivery and lots of food delivery here. And they had a small fridge in the room no microwave but we can't have it all right

There's dog feces everywhere and tracked on the stairs. Homeless people are allowed to camp out and sleep in the stairwells of the property.

Check in was ok. Took a while considering i had a reservation. Bedding was clean. Shower was dilapidated. Floor was funky feeling. The insulation in the room was horrible. It is right off I-30 and it sounded like every vehicle on the highway was driving through my room. I guess you get what you pay for, although i feel like $72 was way too much for the room.

I asked front desk young girl working to please find me another room? She has me bring all my bags and cooler down from second floor, to carry them all the way back up. Now I’m unable to see my car. I was asked by guest for drugs? And money. I do not feel safe at all. No refund. Which means my potential job, interview early in the morning I will not get any rest. The night staff is very friendly and it is a quick check-in process. The room is easily accessible and there is plenty of parking. The other guests are extremely loud and disregard others. The elevator only works sometimes and the morning staff aren't overly friendly. They don't really speak to you.

Worst experience ever. I called the front desk to tell them my bathroom floor was covered in water. I was asked if I wanted a plunger. She came to my room only to figure out the light in the shower was leaking from the floor above me. I was told it would be OK. It's absolutely disgusting and a fire hazard. When I told her this, she rolled her eyes at me and said the only other thing she could do was give me another room to which I agreed. She rolled her eyes at me again and told me to grab my stuff and meet her in the office. She flicked her hand at me and with attitude told me my room was in the back upstairs and turned to walk away. On the way to finding my room, I was terrified when I saw a man come out of his room slamming a big dog against the railing. I ran the opposite way and finally found my room. I called the office again to report it and she laughed at me and replied with "It's not like they are going to come after you". I have severe PTSD and it triggered me into a huge anxiety attack and being laughed at did not help. I didn't sleep at all because I was barricaded in my room scared to sleep from fear. The next morning a couple came out of another room yelling cussing and being physically aggressive with each other. I grabbed my stuff and made sure they were gone, I went to the office as quick as I could. I was told the manager would be in the next day. I told the woman what happened and she replied with "oh". A refund was requested and no reply was ever given.

We were there for 2 nights kids were crying to open the door that connects to our room also they were making so much noise 12: am midnight they were still up I had to go to the office and tell them to move us or give us our money back. Staff call them the noise stopped a little bit…then I got up around 3:40 am to go to the bathroom I saw a couple of roaches they were on top of my bed also in the bedroom shower. We go there because it’s close to my sister in law she’s in the nursing home.also we just have to walk across to Denny’s for breakfast. So it’s convenient for us I don’t know we might have to look for another place. People hanging around late at night outside.

Ana at front desk brings her child to work all day every day and it’s just not right. Nandi who works nights means well and he just doesn’t follow up on what he says he’ll do. There are a lot of s*x workers and we had neighbors who were involved in illicit dr!g use and kept us up all night. If you’re part of the underworld This is a good place to stay. If you’re looking for a clean affordable place to rest your head keep looking because this motel 6 will threaten to fall the police on you if you call front desk asking for maintenance or housekeeping

House keeping came to the door and told us we had to get out cause someone else put money down on that room when there was other rooms available. She was very hateful about it and then said we wouldn't let house keeping come inside and we did. They only came to our room 1 time and I took the dogs in the bathroom and they came inside. So they threw us out on a lie

This was a horrible stay. First room flooded and had roaches had to move to another room at 4a, second room was decent but the second bed had bed bugs. Definitely will not be back. Feel like I should’ve been paid to stay there after the night I had.

We originally had paid for 2 nights but after arriving and staying one night we checked out. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, as 2 adult women we felt for unsafe and uncomfortable. There were crashed cars on jacks in the parking lot, a home less guy talking to himself outside 2 rooms down. The office folks were not friendly at all. I lost money that I definitely could have used. Had I known it was like this we definitely would have never booked there. I’m highly disappointed in the choice that Hotels.com has this property on their sites.

This is my first time at this property I had to stand outside unable to check in because no one is at the counter to do checkin I stood here over 30 mins waiting to get checked in 30 min in 98 * degree was outrageous.

Check in went well. I stayed there 2 nights on different days and surprisingly was given the same room. The room at first sight appeared to b CLEAN, bed well made with clean towels as before. What I did not like, seeing dead flies as I walked in and on the floor and having to kill flies. A bit noisy bc people live on the property.
