Refused to stay at the property after checking. Checkin is a virtual assistant machine, the actual check in desk is behind bullet proof glass and not attended. Completed checking and the drove around the parking lot to park and go in. Parking lot was full of broken down and appeared to be abondend cars and old rvs. Went upto our room, toilet seat was broken off, not the room I had booked on line as it was to have a jetted tub. Seat cover chair in the room was cracked open. Bed spread was stained and dirty.Overall the hotel was filthy, dirty and had a strong foul stench.requested to cancel my booking and get a refund since it was not a safe place to stay nor as advertised. Was told by some young man that finally came out to behind the bullet proof glass that I needed to take that up with expedia as we would not help me. This motel is absolutely nothing like the photos, appears to be nothing more than a local flop house. DO NOT BOOK HERE. Left the property within 5 mins of checking in and went and found another motel just down the street.

First week under new management and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean. Will stay here again.

Black.mold.i. fridge trim stained sheets even agter getting diff sheets . Was told thats all they had. What hotel gives has only stained sheets. Bath tub did not drain. Lights out in room.Would never recommend them.

Our key card didn't work and we had to go back downstairs for help and to get a new key. The woman who helped get us a new key was friendly, but she was the only staff member we saw the whole time we were there. Check in/check out is wayyyy more complicated with the electronic check in/out system kiosk. It makes everything much slower than talking face to face with someone. Posted everywhere downstairs that there's no smoking, but the whole lobby smelled of stale cigarettes.

Honestly, this was more than a disappointment! The blinds/window looking out on the parking lot were very worn; it looked like the window needed some attention. I just trusted that nobody was going to try to break in. The strangest thing was that the TV, which was connected in the back to some kind of cable was completely unusable! I didn't bother asking for help, because in my previous encounter with the maintenance fellow he did not really speak English. So... earlier after checking in and opening the door to the room, I looked around and then went off to park the car closer to the room. As soon as I closed the door, however, I discovered that the lock you can use to deny access to anyone breaking in from the outside had slid into place, making it impossible for me to get back in the door. In the end, the maintenance guy knew what to do and fixed it with a wire that he looped around the locking mechanism and then shut the door, after which the door was able to be opened completely. It just felt a little grungy -- like the whole place was from 30 or 40 years ago, and just hadn't been kept up very well. One of my absolute worst overnight stays, sorry to say.

Worst hotel experience ive ever had. I was greeted by a guy on a kiosk screen. It was a red roof and i booked in advance without cancellation protection as there were not many options and the price was right and the reviews were not terrible. Oops. A sign outside the hotel said “new rooms” 😂 new grey vinyl planking a few years ago. The property was dirty. The stairs and upstairs hallway was too. There is no elevator. My room had filthy sheets, worn and stained from the laundry. Deep cleaning needed. Chairs with upholstery peeling off. I contacted front desk (guy on kiosk) who called housekeeping guy and showed me another room. Same thing. Same thing for third room. I asked for a refund (no refunds, neener neener) and they told me to talk to expedia. After almost a week expedia was told by hotel i should have asked for help (i did) and refused refund. Expedia gave me some key cash. Buyer beware on places like this. There are zero guarantees especially at that price. The kiosk guy was like some dystopian nightmare and i hope i never see that again or a hotel in this condition.

I actually chose not to stay after seeing the place. The staff was nice enough and tried to find me a room that didn't wreak of cigarette smoke, which we did eventually find. But I was travelling by myself and didn't feel safe there. It wasn't really the fault of the hotel exactly but more the run down aspects of the place, the general environment in the hotel and some of the other people who were staying there.

Book two rooms had to change both,the bed sheet was dirty and the tub was also.will never stay at a red roof again

Worn out linen very old , dirty blanket ,old uncomfortable matress ,chair riped off leather , no staff electronic check in over screen .Never stay again

We arrived to find a kiosk to check in, with a remote desk clerk. This was fine, but the hotel employee lounging in the "lobby" felt a little weird. We parked, and saw a couple of abandoned cars with smashed windows in the parking lot. Once in the room, we noticed corrosion on the bathroom door hinges and mold on the bathroom ceiling. This was definitely one of the worst Red Roofs we've ever stayed in.
