We like the fact that even though this hotel was built in 1907, it has been maintained very well. It was the “rustic, west-feel” that my husband was looking for. The hotel did a very good job making you feel welcome and comfortable. The fact that this hotel sits on the corner of two busy streets, with constant traffic until the wee hours of the morning, maxe it difficult to sleep. We know that there is nothing in the hotel could have done to change that.

Location & cleanliness. Super friendly & helpful staff Old, sink not in the bathroom. Door shut while I was in the hallway and locked me out. Staff was excellent though and let me back in! :)

Great room. Great location

We loved the old time feeling of this hotel and room. The air conditioner could have worked better, but other than that it was in a great location to stay right in the heart of the stockyards.

Location and old authentique decor Room could have been cleaner. Bathroom old condition. Room on road noisy from local bars. Would not want to be there on a weekend! Some staff excellent. Some very poor service.

Dated and worn. No free parking. Restaurant was permanently closed. The building has a lot of character and a great location. Beyond that, it’s below average.

This staff was extremely nice. Very nice accommodations. They worked with us. Couldn’t be more please is definitely worth a visit.

This room was dirty, especially the bathroom, and so neglected. It is crazy how run-down it is and yet we paid a luxury price.

Location Cleanliness. Bathroom toilet ran all day and night. No small fridge. Towels were small and cheap. Rooms need serious updating if you are going to charger $700/night. Stayed 2 nights probably won’t stay there again. Location was perfect but other hotels around look better

Love love loved the hotel! It was a bucket list stay and they did not disappoint!! 💜

The hotel was excellent in both ambience and location but 1 big problem was the door fitment and the gap around the frame along with possible insulation with the inter connecting rooms everything could be heard from next door. First night the couple in the neighbouring room had an argument upon their late return for which could be heard easily which wasn’t the end of the world but their making up the following morning certainly was! No exaggeration but her moas of pleasure could be heard just as if the TV was on. Not an issue to us as me and the wife just laughed and turned our TV up but it would have been totally inappropriate if there had of been children staying with us. Second night and a different neighbour this time that went out and left their wining dog in the room all evening - we honestly got no sleep at all.

The uniqueness of the period. It was really good. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and nice. The small bath tub, water pressure (not enough to clean long hair)and temperature of water( never got warm enough for comfort) The night time noise from music. It stopped a 2am and then room was peaceful. The bed was very comfortable.

The room was disgusting. Vents clogged, carpet with many spill stains, bugs in light fixtures, shower seals all cracked, rusted door hinges. $600 room was like a motel 6. Checked out on wedding night and went home.

Professional and friendly staff. Easy check in and excellent communication by Antonio at the front desk

The hotel maintained the old style hotel and it was a lovely experience, but there were a few things that should have been taken care of prior to occupying this room. There was no hot water at the vanity and i had to repeat several times to the front desk staff that the hotel needed to take care of that.

The walls were paper thin so they supply earplugs, which may help you sleep but during the day my friend and I could clearly hear the full conversation of the room next door, and they weren’t yelling. Our room was internal, so we had no real window which kept the room dark. The beds weren’t comfortable, cheap bouncy mattress with stiff sheets. *If that weren’t enough, the housekeeping staff came in and left our door unlocked and wide open all afternoon.*

Location was excellent. Bar and restaurant were great. Staff were helpful and kind. The bathrooms were very small; however, that may not be able to be helped if there's red tape regarding renovations. Not having a full length mirror in the rooms was a burden. It would be easy to attach them on the inside of the armoires.

location and western theme , bed was comfortable & they provided ear plugs WHICH YOU WILL NEED Close to restaurants , and close to Billy Bobs where we attended a concert . NOISE NOISE NOISE , if you want to get some sleep your not going to get it all hours of the night nothing but loud music , cars revving their engines , people screaming , i get this is a party town area but there was no buffer at all hence that probably why they supplied ear plugs . Skip to early morning when it seems to have died down, Thinking maybe i can get a little sleep--> NOPE here comes the cleaning staff (or wrecking crew) at 8AM screaming , yelling and slamming things around just outside the room door ! i actually have video of this . Room was not very clean , water damage on the ceilings , exposed pipe in ceiling of bathroom , don't get me started on the toilet !

This is an historic hotel, and can appreciate that. But, the carpet in the rooms is way overdue for replacement. Lighting is low, so rather dark. I could see completely under the door to the adjoining room. There was a pipe coming through the shower that dripped water from up above somewhere. I had called ahead asking if there were a couple amenities, the front desk staff said "yes", but when I got there they "did not" have those. The price was reasonable, especially compared to the surrounding hotels for that area. But the location was exactly what I had wanted. The front desk staff was "so-so". They were young.

Overall, property is excellent for walk ability, food choices, and service. However, the lobby is cleaned with a horrible generic cleaning fluid which ruins the entire experience for me. Instant headache and vomit !! The smell ruins the historic vibe of the entire building. Stop using this cleansing fluid.

Your restaurant area and food was superb! The room itself was very outdated (speaking of bedding, tub was absolutely gross.. stained with old dirt rings around tub. Stuck on dust on floor boards around room. The bedding needed to be updated as well as only given one towel each for two adults. Your free soap, shampoo and conditioner was the absolutely cheapest. You can do better.

Hotel has a lot of history and right in heart of stockyards. The H3 restaurant has excellent food and service as well as hotel staff. The downside was the price vs the accommodations. Rooms are antiquated; in need of update. After paying for valet parking we had to walk 1/2 mile to our vehicle after checking out ( with rickety luggage rack in tow). The wheel actually fell of luggage rack we used upon arrival.

The venue has poor HVAC system. It became too warm after midnight. Many hotel venues control the temperature to save money. Rooms are really neat with all the historic preservation. Ceiling fan did not work in the room.

The hotel is old and rustic however they do a good job of keeping it clean. The lobby and hallways are like you walked back in time although some of the chairs could use some reupholstery. The rooms have character and the restaurants were great. We ate in the lounge at the bar - food, service and drinks were lovely.

I had a nice accommodation at Stockyards Hotel. It was easy to walking at Stockyards and enjoy at there.

Cable and tvs need updating,Not Reliable,Staff wasnt attentive,Very hesitant ,I wouldnt stay there again,Too expensive for what you get,Weve stayed in Cancun, vegas, and other franchise hotels and dont charge half of what you do.
- 3/5
It’s a great location and an historic venue. Overall, we enjoyed the visit. They do need to put a little TLC into the place, and the staff were younger folks that really just “mailed it in” on their service. Still, I would recommend it to folks wanting to check out the Stockyards.
- 5/5
Lots of character and easy to walk to every thing.
- 5/5
AC was out in our room , staff got us fans since no other rooms were available ( did the right thing with fixing the issues)
- 2/5
First time to stay here. Room was clean but ceiling fan made a loud noise so we could not use it. The bed was ok, pillows were thick. My biggest complaint was the antique toilet that made extremely loud noises all through the night. We did not rest in this room whatsoever and therefore I would not recommend or stay again.
- 5/5
One of our favorite places and first visit in a couple of years. We are looking forward to remodel next year, but we hope they keep as much of the original charm as possible
- 3/5
Fort Worth has great eat places but is very loud and noisy throughout the night.
- 4/5
The hotel was nice, historical and convenient. Overall it is in need of renovation. Cleanliness was directly related to the age of the carpet, bathroom facilities and overall condition. The staff was professional, helpful and always pleasant. We were told the hotel will begin renovations in January. We will stay there again after renovations are complete.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel and great location. I love that it stays true to the original feel of the hotel but with modern conveniences.
- 5/5
Awsome old hotel that makes you feel like you’re in the Old West. I don’t know the history or age but the wood work is amazing throughout including the bar! Within walking distance for everything to see in the stockyards. Valet parking was awsome and the only way to go as parking is limited.
- 5/5
Hotel is historic and beautiful!
- 4/5
Unique old FTW hotel with a lot of character. Central to everything Stockyards related. H3 steakhouse is fantastic and is connected to the hotel
- 5/5
Best location and lovely period hotel
- 5/5
Historical property full of charm, perfectly located in the heart of the Stockyards. We enjoyed the ease of access your room throughout the day. Property is original and some furniture is a bit tired, but it wouldn't be a factor in returning in the future. The adjoining restaurant, H3 was delicious.

Beautiful hotel and perfect location
- 5/5
Perfect place to stay for a “real Cowgirl” experience in the Stockyards!

Cool historical Hotel
- 4/5
Really nice historical place right in the heart of the stockyards. We really enjoyed our stay. Will stay here again.
- 3/5
Old hotel and it feels like it. We had a basic room with no windows to the outside. Felt small cramped and dark. I get that it is an historic hotel, but could use a refresh.
- 5/5
Stockyards is a great area.
- 5/5
This hotel is very unique in its age and decor. We loved it! The bed was comfy, the shower hot, and the rockers relaxing. The staff was very accommodating. The area and adjoining bar and restaurant were exceptional! So fun!
- 5/5
Love our accommodations. Great history and character!
- 5/5
This historic hotel is a must see and a must stay! We will be back!
- 5/5
Everyone and everything excellent
- 4/5
This was a fun hotel. Keep in mind it is an old hotel so if you want luxury and plush move on. You really felt like you were in the old days with the decor vibe. We had fun googling if it is haunted. Definitely a fun night or two to get the stockyard feel.
- 5/5
like the history of hotel and area.
- 3/5
Room was dated small tv and ac was so loud you can't hear the small tv. No frig to keep drinks cool. Ac drain pipe went into toilet tank. No breakfast. Stairs are faster than the elevator. No wifi. Better than motel 6 but not as good as a best Western
- 1/5
bathroom was not clean unfortunately. Water came out and it was not clear for at least 30 seconds. I had to clean out the bathtub.
- 4/5
No refrigerator or microwave in room. Needs plastic cups for bathroom sink area & more than 1 glass tumbler in the room. Would have appreciated an area to purchase snacks such as chips, candies, cereal, etc.

Awesome stay

I’ve wanted to stay at this hotel my whole life. Growing up in ft worth all my life and seeing this place I always wanted to stay here. Now the appearance on the inside lobby and outside are what I expected but when I got to my room I was absolutely let down. My room was absolutely horrible and hadn’t been properly cleaned in I don’t know how long. The air filter in my room was moving all night sound like someone going in and out of a room. Bed was hard as a brick. 600 dollars a night I could had stayed somewhere way nicer for cheaper.
- 1/5
If you are looking for a great location then this is it, but the room and the bathrooms are dirty and not well maintained. Toilet seat very loose, shower curtain rod came off the wall, carpet was disgusting. Comfortable bed and great AC were the only positives. Definitely will not be staying here again, especially for the price.
- 2/5
Although historic with a great location, this hotel needs some updating. There is a smell in the property that is off putting
- 2/5
We were in the Outlaw Room and it was very dirty. Carpet was heavily stained, furniture dusty. Bathroom tub/shower has missing grout. The toilet tank was coming apart. We went to the restaurant from the lobby not knowing you had to go around and be seated from the H3Ranch side. No one greeted us or showed us where to go. The young hostess was not friendly or personable. We left and went across the street to a competitor. The pictures on line were very deceiving and the reviews read were old. Overall the high price we paid for the night was NOT worth it.
- 3/5
Was okay. Kinda not worth the money.
- 2/5
This hotel came highly recommended and we understood it to be a historical building but there several safety and cleanliness issues - the ceiling in the bathroom was moldy and crumbling apart, the outlet was loose, the blow dryer provided was caked with sticky residue, the tile in the bathroom was mildewed, the carpet was stained and wrinkled, the duvet had stains, and so on. The staff was very friendly and the location was perfect for enjoying the Stockyard district. Overall, for the high price tag we expected better material accommodations.
- 5/5
Very old and nostalgic property. Be prepared to forego many of the typical high end hotel luxuries as this is more of an experience the nostalgia and period. It’s all very nice, just not modern.
- 5/5
The hotel was nice and historic. Enjoyed the stay.
- 3/5
It would have been a grand hotel decades ago but it has not been maintained. The rooms are severely neglected as is the hotel generally. Staff were courteous.
- 4/5
Great location and friendly employees. Great place if you want to stay in the center of it all but in desperate need of updating.

We loved the uniqueness of this property. It takes you back to the old western.
- 5/5
If you want luxe conditions don’t stay here. If you want to submerge yourself in the culture of Fort Worth and the old west…….Definitely stay here. The hotel is very unique to the Stockyards area. I absolutely loved the ambiance and atmosphere. And the bar makes good stout drinks.
- 3/5
Very loud all night long and it was a Monday night! Time for an update and upgrade to the bathroom
- 5/5
It's an historic building so keep that in mind. The room was huge and comfortable. Great amenities including a snack basket (items for purchase, not free!) Though i wish they would have items in there that are peanut free- i couldn't have any snacks offered. Staff was friendly and very helpful, especially the overnight crew.
- 3/5
Storied hotel with a rich history in the middle of the Ft. Worth Stockyards. Amazingly convenient to stores, music and restaurants. Step back into the Wild West and enjoy. This said, the hotel is showing its age. We learned that the hotel will close in July for renovations. Good to hear. It’s time.
- 4/5
Vintage hotel. Close to all the activities
- 4/5
Great location in the middle of it all. But, if you are a person that needs quiet to sleep, then be prepared for the street party noise late into the evening. They do provide ear plugs by the bed for a reason. I do wish the City would monitor the loud noise down some from the cars and trucks cruising through. Party Buses too!
- 5/5
Loved that it was historic and you could easily walk throughout the historic area. Restaurant was wonderful. Only drawback as an older person, is the street noise on weekends, but I would still return.

Love the history! If you want luxury for the $400+ a night stay, this is not for you! Walking distance to bars, shopping, museums and restaurants!!
- 5/5
Great Historic Hotel right in the Stockyards. Will definitely go back there.
- 4/5
Train noise all night
- 5/5
Love the history that is kept here!
- 5/5
Great location and love the authentic western atmosphere
- 3/5
The hotel is the perfect location for your Stockyard immersion. However, we have never had such an unfriendly registration clerk, like we were really annoying him by staying at his hotel. Bad first impression. They close the bars at 10 p.m. even for guests. This was unexpected. The smell of Fabuloso floor cleaner was overwhelming.
- 5/5
We loved our king suite. There’s plenty of restaurants and things to see in walking distance. The room did not have a mini fridge or microwave so don’t bring leftovers back to your room. We loved the historic look and feel of the hotel.
- 4/5
Hotel is definitely dated, but thats part of the charm. Location within the Stockyards cant be beat. Biggest downside to staying here is the noise from the street traffic, but the hotel provides ear plugs to help combat that. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
Loved the charm and history .. great location
- 2/5
Crazy noisy, super hard bed, really dated bathroom, way expensive.
- 4/5
close to events
- 5/5
The bathtub drained poorly, I asked the front desk if they could clear the drain. We got back to the room later that day and the restroom smelled of Draino or equivalent. Those products do not work and it’s pretty gross to stand in dirty water when bathing. Please address sanitary issues correctly so as not to turn customers away. Thanks

Great stay!!
- 5/5
I always love this place. Such nice staff. Perfect location for eating at my favorite Mexican place, Joe T . Garcias. Valet parking staff are wonderful. So easy if you are a single woman traveling alone. Pet friendly, too. Just can’t say enough good things.
- 5/5
Such a great historic place to stay. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. Room is exactly what you would expect from a historical hotel. You can feel the history in the halls and room. The restaurant H3 was amazing. Food and service on point. Will we definitely be back!
- 5/5
You are in the heart of stockyards able to walk anywhere
- 5/5
Awesome property - room was huge with a very comfy king bed. The toilet had a pull flush which I thought was fun. Really no complaints - the bar also had saddles for seats at the bar which was cool. Lots of shops and restaurants around to walk to. Definitely recommend!
- 4/5
The hotel was very old but it is being renovated in March.
- 5/5
We had a great stay at the Stockyard Hotel, we loved the history of the building and the decor
- 4/5
Great stay easy to get around
- 5/5
Unique place
- 5/5
Unique hotel gives an authentic experience with beautiful decorations. Friendly staff and convenient to local restaurants and shopping.
- 5/5
Loved the historical aspects and the decor. The room was clean and the heat/air was good. Location was in walking distance from food and entertainment. Parking/valet was a little bit of an issue with cars parked in valet/towing area and the security didn't do anything to remedy. The noise from the street was loud on Saturday night and may be an issue for some.
- 5/5
It is a perfect spot inside the stockyards.an excellent restaurant, and the staff was very friendly
- 5/5
Love the hotel ! We didn’t like the towels felt like you were drying off with sandpaper and they were small .
- 5/5
Excellent hotel. The rooms are extremely quiet.
- 5/5
Most comfortable hotel bed ever
- 5/5
Great location if you’re wanting to stay around the stockyards! Everything within walking distance.
- 2/5
Although we knew it was a historic hotel, we expected cleanliness. The guest room was so old and outdated. The carpet was dirty, the bathtub was in such bad condition and had been patched numerous times. We do not plan on ever going here again. We were so disappointed.
- 5/5
This place is amazing! It's right in the middle of the stockyards and you can walk all over. The bar in the hotel is great and has a wonderful atmosphere. Bartender Jeannette is the best. We had a great stay here and can't wait to come back!
- 5/5
Beautiful antique furniture with modern day amenities … really highlighted the experience of staying in an old west town!
- 5/5
The shopping, rodeo, entertainment was all within walking distance, highly recommended
