Lovely location Nothing

Pretty building, great breakfast! Rooms were comfortable and clean. The shower was really weak and not powerful. Felt like the staff were rushing us by clearing away our plates before we had finished at breakfast.

comfy bed room was a bit tired and over a weekend the breakfast was a bit on the light side

Staff were lovely, very attentive, nothing too much trouble. Bathroom was a bit tired, low pressure in shower.

The room was modern, comfortable and clean and was just what we needed. Staff were pleasant and friendly even though you could see they were very busy with a wedding they had on the day we checked in. They were considerate and rang in advance to let us know about the wedding that was occurring that could potentially be a little loud so we planned to eat out that night. Facilities were good, also EV chargers available which is very useful. Only downside to the hotel is the location. It is perfectly fine if you want to just have a base somewhere and you're happy to either get a taxi or drive out! But the town of Faringdon itself apart from a few pubs and charity shops there isn't much life there.

Lovely quiet location and the bedrooms being spacious and clean. Mattresses were very soft, however, this is personal preference.

The breakfast was as expected. The staff service was excellent. There was no information in the room about wi-fi or places to visit. No information was offered at Reception when we checked in. Our room was a long way away on the first floor even after taking the lift, but Reception didn't offer to provide someone to carry our cases. (We are in our 70's). There was no proper wardrobe (just a small hanging space) and no drawers in the room (apart from one with the hairdryer in) and no drawers in the bedside lockers either. We paid £185.50 for one night & breakfast so expected more. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. Couldn't find the hairdryer as it had been put in the one and only drawer with no handle that doesn't open but presses inwards, who would know. Not told at Reception. We arrived at 7pm on a very cold day to find that the heating wasn't on. The room was so cold and it took an hour and a half to heat up as the radiator was small.
