Bavarian Inn Lodge & Restaurant

Although the owner is retiring, she and her daughter after some 40 years, are very spirited, and still run a wonderful inn.

Clean room, nice staff, enjoyable jet tub in room.

It was ok. It’s old that’s for sure. Towels and washcloths could use a replacing and the quilt on the bed was pretty old. Just an old place.

Very nice, clean, cozy room with fireplace and even a jacuzzi! This was the perfect getaway and so close to downtown. Everyone working here was so friendly and made us feel very welcome and accommodated.

The Bavarian Inn was convenient to the conference I attended at the nearby Best Western yet offered a calmer atmosphere. The property backs up to a wooded area. I woke up to birds singing in the morning and fell asleep to spring frogs croaking at night. My room was immaculate and had a nice sitting area. Front desk staff was friendly and the gift shop was a pleasant surprise.

Perhaps the most spacious hotel room I've ever stayed in! The king suite had so much room. The heart shaped hot tub was a nice touch and I enjoyed sitting outside on the private balcony listening to the birds. I hope the restaurant is purchased and reopened soon (it is closed as of 2026 as they look for a buyer), as that would have made my stay that much better.

But the liamp on the left side of the bed was previously broken and presented a short circuit hazard so I unplugged it and never used it.

Clean room, friendly staff, good location and beautiful view. Bed aren’t comfortable at all but can look past that due to everything else being great. Will be back!

Very clean room and staff are friendly. We loved our room back of the hotel facing the woods very quiet. Huge room and bathroom. Location is very good.

Comfortable room. Old place. Needs more electrical outlets. Never figured out the heat/ac so turned it off. Deep tub needs grab cars for us old folks. Towels could use and upgrade.

Neat as a pin but the decor could use a refresh.
