We stayed for multiple days and found the area quiet despite a popular restaurant nearby. The room was very clean but some flaws in the flooring and a gap beneath the door was a bit worrisome. Parking was very convenient. There is seating by the river but the room balcony basically overlooks the parking and restaurant. BTW, the restaurant is one of our favs! You can walk to it easily. The tv, ac and water pressure in the shower was fantastic!

The location was great. The pool was covered and looked like is hadn't been open for a while. My kids were disappointed.

The interior of the cabin does not look as nice as in the photos and is much more dated. The bathroom sink was 90% clogged, we had to make a mini whirlpool in the sink just for it to drain. Worst of all, we picked this property for the pool and the pool was closed and under maintenance. When we tried to get a discount for this inconsistency the reply was "Thank you for your stay, please come again."

We loved our stay at Nicky’s. We were visiting to go hiking, and explore the Rocky’s. Nicky’s is very close to the RMNP entrances. Our hotel room was clean, a good size and the bed was comfortable. It had everything we need. The AC works and we were kept cool and comfortable the entire night. Getting the key was easy with the instructions and it was a quiet mountain lodge. If you’re expecting a luxury four seasons, this isn’t it. It’s a lodge in the mountains, with character and charm and beautiful views!! We had a great time and would definitely come back.

Don’t stay here if you have kids. Their pool, broken. Their location, falling apart. I asked for $60 compensation back since we had to buy community rec passes to swim. Spoke with one of the managers. Sent a message about the situation. They’ve ignored. Not only the broken pool, everything else on the site and cabin we stayed in was broken or falling apart. The only positive was the onsite staff were kind and as helpful as they could be given that the owners/managers don’t care about their business. Hard pass look somewhere else. I travel all the time and never leave bad reviews it this place upset me enough to do so.

Either mounted the headboard to wall or change it out slams the wall while sleeping. Fix the gap under front door to much cold air comes in. Flooring is buckled in places

Ok but suite rustic

The pictures are very misleading. Our room was not the cleanest. The floors left our feet black, the bathroom had mold on the ceiling, duct tape on the bottom of the tub, there was hair in all the corners of the room, the window ac wasn’t working. It just was not the greatest sadly.
-
Cons: dirty floor, dirty and poorly maintained bathroom, small bathroom, can hear everything from upstairs, not enough linens for beds/pillows.
-
The shower temperature and flow were good. They had decent toiletries. The bedsheets and pillows did not seem clean. The room was old and rather dirty and it lacked good light. The room and bathroom windows were falling apart.

Rented the cabin because of the swimming pool for my grandchildren got there. The swimming pool was not open called and asked why they said they had a water leak which I do not believe because the cabin was right beside and facing the pool. I watched it took pictures every day. The line never went down any nothing was ever moved around the pool and I never saw anybody at the pool working on it. If amenity is not gonna be available, I feel that you should let your guest know if ahead of time and give them a choice of some type of refund and still stay or a full refund to go somewhere where you get the amenities that you booked. Needless to say my grandchildren are very disappointed and it cost me more money. Have to go in town to find things for them to do because the swimming pool was never open for the days that we were there and there’s a sign that states it’s open from June to August but it was not open.

We pushed through, but won’t stay here again. Not what we were expecting. Much older than the pictures make it look. Sink and tub both collected water and drained slow. Stayed for 3 nights and only had 2 towels. They were never changed out. The 3rd towel and extra toilet paper was under the sink. Well….the sink was leaking and everything in the cabinet was wet. Bathroom is extremely small. Caulking around the tub is full of mold. It was loud some nights being so close to the restaurant. Stuff floating in the Keurig reservoir. Window A/C unit didn’t put out like it should. Lots of small issues added up. We didn’t contact anyone because I honestly don’t think they care. Maybe others had a better experience, but we won’t be back.

My room got extremely hot and it would not cool down because I could not shut off the electric fireplace. There were no instructions. There was no one to call in the middle of the night. Also the air conditioning unit did not blow cold. The only way I could clear out the heat in the room was to keep playing with the fireplace switch turn the fan on and open all the door doors and windows. I also could not leave the front door open to the screen because the screen door would not shut and the lock was broken!!! Also the smoke alarm kept flashing a warning bright bright light in the middle of the night I don't know if it was because of the heat ? Or if that was broken too! as a single traveler I'm exhausted and very frustrated and very disappointed!!! I saved for a long time for this trip!! Restaurant was really nice and the staff was very sweet and I love the property. It would be amazing if some sort of discount would be given to me for not getting the experience I should have. Respectfully frustrated

Great location, just what I needed. So good I booked another night.

I did not notice it till a few days into our stay but there was a couple stain spots or maybe dirty spots on the bottom sheet on the right corner near where your feet would be at. Like the sheet had not been changed. I liked the black out curtains on the glass door. It would be nice if there was this type of curtain on the square window above the AC unit. The sun in the morning is too much when you are trying to sleep. Vacations are for sleeping in, not waking up at 5 am with the sun lighting up the room like it is noon LOL. Lights on AC unit are very bright and no way to cover them up. We were disappointed the pool was not open yet. It had not been filled or cleaned. The gas grills that were there, one looked like it had gone through a hurricane and was in pieces, and the other grill did not look much better. Without a way to cook in the room we wanted to be able to grill and save some money. I would have liked a room refresh mid-week and I asked the house keeping lady, but she did not understand what I was asking. Getting clean sheets midweek would have been nice. I was able to get clean towels. There is no lobby staff, so you have to call a number to get help with anything. The ice machine has a scoop to get your ice from the bin. I do not think this is allowed for health reason. Floor was noisy

Other than very good location and restaurant on site, the property is not well maintained and not well described. We didn’t have shampoo in the bathroom, couldn’t check in with the code provided and witnessed other parties having the same problem. They advertised heated pool June to September but the pool area was in disarray. Disappointed.

Close to Estes Park, Rocky’s and area hikes. Easy to check in, all amenities great.

The location. It met basic needs It's the only motel we have ever stayed at where the water pressure of the shower head was so high that it was painful to take a shower. Check in/out is automated so there was no staff anywhere to talk to.
