Best Western Plus Duncanville/Dallas

We were in town for my son's basketball tournament and it was a wonderful stay. Would definitely stay again!

Breakfast was hot and ready 6AM - 9AM went to my room and relaxed for a while with my fiancé and children, then we went down to the pool and played for a few hours. Then we went to get pizza came back and ate watched movies and went to sleep. I will continue to always book Best Western on Hotels.com

The room was as expected but the bathroom was not cleaned properly . Otherwise it has free parking and a buffet next door (go at your own risk)..

The hotel and room were very clean despite the old building. There were a few areas, corners and baseboards, that one could see the age of the building. But no serious problems...it was very clean! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and there was a larger than normal area to dine in. Parking was easy and the lot, although full, had plenty of open spots! The area was easily accessible and near a Waffle House, a few other eateries, gas stations, and the Duncanville Fieldhouse! A great location!

Halls were clean, besides the second floor reaked of weed, all weekend. Pool area was also dirty with beer cans lying all along the pool area. Breakfast was decent, and breakfast staff was super sweet. Parking was very accessible, and there was a nice Chinese buffet right next door! (Highly recommend). I will complain though that they called to threaten to kick us out due to several of our softball team girls running the halls, we just made it back from main event due to our tournament being cancelled, and were greeted back with that with literally being back only a big 5 minutes. Multiple kids from other guests were running. Not to mention the staff called our room to threaten to kick us out, when OUR CHILD WAS WITH US, and not part of the group running, at all. No warning, nothing. When I went to talk to the front desk we were told they got a complaint about a room nowhere near ours. So due to that we unfortunately won't be back we stay at many hotels in the area due to softball and never had an issue.

Negatives: we came for a weekend softball tournament and due to weather it got cancelled (obviously not the hotels fault) so we did unfortunately have 6 little girls bored going from room to room. We came back from main event about 5, and got a call telling us we'd be kicked out if our kids continued to run. No warning nothing, just a threat. I understand wanting to have other guests comfortable. But it wasn't even MY child running, but other kids, as she was with me the whole time we came back from main event. When we went to talk to the front desk associate she told us what room it was, and it was nowhere even near our room, and like I said prior my daughter was with me the whole time the complaint came to us. We didn't appreciate being accused when it wasn't even our kid, and there were several other kids running the hall.... We come to the Duncanville area frequently for tournaments and usually stay at the Hampton and wanted to give this one a try, we'll definitely go back to the Hampton, after that incident, other wise we enjoyed the stay.

That I wasn't sleeping in my car, but may have been better. The roaches and something that looked like a bed bug in both rooms, staff was not very accommodating, and guarantees were not kept.

This hotel is a great stop for one or two days. The staff is nice, the rooms are clean and all of the amenities work as they should. The breakfast was perfect to start our day. Would absolutely recommend this hotel. Had to move from our previous hotel because opposite conditions.

The entire hall smelled like weed, the walls are super paper thin that you literally hear the tv next door and the doors slam so loud that they startle you awake!

The swimming pool was nasty the ladies at reception where not very nice the hotel was not clean the fridge did not work the cabinet under the tv had big drill holes i took picture so i would not get blamed

Upon entering the hotel, we were greeted by a lovey aroma (like 4 or 5 star hotels) that continued into our room. The staff verbally greeted us . They were very helpful and polite. Every request was met quickly without any excuses. The decor was freshly updated...very beautiful. The hot breakfast (scrambled ,hashbrowns, and freezer croissant breakfast sandwiches was served by 2 SWEET ladies. I have NOT had this happen before any Best Western Plus locations. Alas, no Bacon....we both like bacon! We didn't eat the sausages were a little pink inside. Lights in the bathroom need to be and must be brighter. We really enjoyed our stay. Have a blessed 2026.

The staff is Great , the facility is very nice but as soon as we got her there were roaches in the bathroom, my son was scared to use the restroom, and then the breakfast wasn't even ready at 7am, so I didnt get to eat a full breakfast before we left

The front desk clerk did not give me a receipt. They should offer a receipt. She would not put my BW rewards number on my room. I did not appreciate that. Not sure I would stay at this hotel again. Service is the quality that sets you apart from the rest. Not impressed.

The location was perfect for the reason I was there. Within a few miles from the testing center I had to drive to. Hotel was clean, and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast provided by the staff. The front desk attendant was friendly. Throughout the night there was noise that sounded like someone was slamming the door repeatedly. The noise woke me up several times. I was in need of a good nights rest before I left that next morning to take my exam. This was extremely frustrating!

The only complaint I could possibly offer is that the room had a little bit of a funky smell when we came in. Everything looked clean though, so we sprayed some room spray and it was fine after that.

4 stars for front desk staff at the time of check in. 4 for the room. Mirror next to bed looked sprayed but not cleaned, couch had stains and so did the ceiling. Fridge rattled loudly at random times during the night. And this was a Suite. Check out was nice and the front desk staff in the AM was much nicer

Nasty floors, nasty bathroom floors with clogs of hair. My child had on white socks when we entered the room, when she sat in the chair after walking on the floor the bottom of her socks were dirt brown.

Terrible I wouldn't give this place 1 star, I stayed here one night, I paid the 22.65 to checkout late it hadn't been 24hr since I arrived at the property when it was time to check out I went to the front desk to check out and the front desk lady Tania told the housekeeper Luci to check the room the housekeeper said I had damaged the chair which is pleather that it had wear and tear. I was falsely accused of damaging a desk chair that had peeling in less than 24hrs I booked this hotel for the pool we were mainly outdoors as soon as we arrived, I didn't read the previous reviews on this location that they're furniture was falling apart, I asked the lady if she was going to write me a tab for the table that almost collapsed when I placed our pizza box and for the peeled chair and also their fridge had severe mold stains how could I do that in less than 24 hrs, when all we wanted was to go swimming they kept the $100 deposit for their chair. I do not recommend this place for families, NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY! They refused to show me the chair probably will be used to scam someone else for $100. Do better best western plus.

The first room that we were given was extremely bad smelling and we had to relocate. We were in town for a funeral and they were not able to refund me part of my room.

The hotel was very nice no complaints except I was on the 1st floor and the people directly above me were so nosy running across the floor. I assumed it was kids. Otherwise the stay was great. I will stay again.

My stay was below expectations. There was a noticeable sewage odor coming from the shower, and the pillows were very uncomfortable. Breakfast included an item I couldn’t identify or pronounce, which made the experience less enjoyable. Overall, it just wasn’t the best stay.

Bed was comfortable. At home I sleep on Tempur-Pedic. Hotel bed was a little firmer that that. I was really late to check in so hotel called me to confirm my ETA. When checking out, I was given option to check out 2 hours late for extra $20. I would definitely stay here again.

good location, breakfast could be a little more fresh but they had people serve you which was awesome && they stayed open later for people who were waking up late. tonya & lucy we’re the front desk ladies && helped us so much dealing with our truck being stolen at the property. lucy gave my son snacks for his birthday to help out and they offered us to stay a few hours longer while we got car arrangements! apparently it’s a bad location for cars being stolen but that’s everywhere now a days

Stayed here a week while we waited for our new place to be ready. Only downsize is the cooked breakfast. It’s literally the same thing every morning. Literally!! The muffins, yogurt, nutragrain bars, etc are nice for grab and go.

The walks are so thin you could hear everything. Someone was snoring and we heard it all. Could not sleep. So glad no one was having sex! But I won't stay there again

This hotel went above and beyond. I became extremely ill during the course of our travels. In a way that no cleaning crew should have to be a part of. These people were so gracious and so kind before during and after. This hotel gets 10 stars out of five.

Not happy with cancellation policy. Death in the family the morning of the stay caused our plans to change. You would think that they would work with you considering our unexpected loss. I won't use this hotel chain or family of hotels in the future.

This is an old property. Having said that Amelia was very attenrive and professional. The rooms are noisy, and very dated. I couldn't even charge my phone.

The entrance is a little frustrating to get into if you're unfamiliar with the area. However the staff were amazing and the hotel and room was kept clean and orderly. This will be my first choice when I'm in the area!

Most everything seemed fine. But the wife complained that the carpet seemed wet the night we checked in. We thought maybe water had spilled. But it was still damp at checkout.

Just an ordinary room with paper thin walls. The bed was uncomfortable. The staff was nice. The hotel was centered around a convenient location.

Jetted Tub was not useable due to cleanliness, there was black hair, and foreign objects in the bottom and slides of the tub. Not only was the side of the tub / wood work cracked there was a deceased cockroach on the tile surrounding the tub. There was also a constant smell of marijuana in my room on the first floor, especially leaking into the restroom. Entering the hotel there were individuals sleeping in their vehicles. My myself and guest decided to cut our trip short and leave this hotel 24 hours early without a refund.

I had a short stay before headed out of town. It was nice quality for the price. Best Western seems consistently very good at all that I have been. It was a clean and comfortable room. The front desk staff was incredibly nice! I would stay there again.
