They need to spray for roaches. Soon as I got in the room I had to kill a roach. Then I killed like four more during my stay. There was a frozen microwave dinner that was frozen solid to the refrigerator. They came and sprayed for bugs and I continued to see them.

Bed smell bad, sheets where not clean had to get new sheets and had to change them myself, the front desk was not welcoming at all, property was very dirty, the bathroom was even dirty, the too. Smell humid.

It was decent for the price but there was a gap in my door that you could see in the room

Roaches, room was not clean. There was nasty stuff on the ceiling, blood on the bathroom wall near toilet, fridge was dirty, ice bucket was wet, and there was roaches. And it smelled bad.

My first room smelled like smoke and dirty feet, and the window was left cracked open, so it was filled with flies, gnats. My second room was much better except the phone in the room did not work, and the fire sprinkler system had been typed over with a Dollar General bag. So the ceiling could be repainted. I would not recommend going to this place. Crazy activity in the parking lot at night. Looks like an abandoned vehicle or two is also in the back parking lot. But. Rudy’s barbecue is next-door lots of food options. And it’s right off the highway. And I did not see bugs. But other than that, that’s about all I can say.

I haven’t stayed in a Super 8 motel before and normally would choose a property that is nicer, but the surrounding hotels in Denton we’re all at the $300 level and we’re talking just for a Best Western. So we saved some money and stayed at the budget motel. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. We survived.

Breakfast and pool were great. Amazing value.

We were in a handicap room and the shower stall was excellent. But the shower hardware needed some attention as it was loose on the wall and hard to get a good water temp. We reported it and they put it on the list for repairs. Everything else was wonderful. It was not our first stay and we will go back.

Staff was helpful and kind. Room was not very clean. Dirt, trash, and other items found behind bedside table and television when plugging in phone chargers. Housekeeping staff smelled heavily of weed. Hallways and elevator had very strong odor of weed and cigarette smoke. Would not recommend staying here.

The toilet lid on the toilet didn't fit. It look like it belonged to a different type of toilet. Plus the toilet itself took awhile to flush. You had to hold the nob down the whole time until it completely flushed.

Roaches visible in room. Toilet had actual feces in it from previous occupant or staff member. I was so tired from travel I did not complain!!!

From the time we checked in until we checked out the staff was great They knew how to check us in and spoke English The place was very clean as was our room There was nothing that I didn’t like

We accidentally chose a smoking room. My fault as I did not know that was allowed anymore. Hotel was full so could not change to non smoking. Smell was beyond horrible and no way to get fresh air in the room. Also saw 2 roaches which was disturbing. Price was cheep but would not return.

The ending

The bed was comfortable. The hotel was infested with cockroaches. The initial room that was rented to me was not only infested with cockroaches, the previous tenants of the room had smashed cockroaches on the wall that still remained even after the maid staff had supposedly clean the room. There were smashed dead cockroaches on the wall of the bedroom as well as the bathroom. Once we saw cockroaches in the room, we went to the front desk and asked for another room that was not infested with bugs or cockroaches. The hotel staff member was confrontational about us requesting a move, but gave in and provided us a room that was two doors down from the room that we were initially given. Once we walked into that room, more cockroaches were observed, and so we had to request a move to another room. The hotel staff moved us to a room that was on the opposite end of the two rooms that we’ve been rented that had cockroaches in them, and this room, fortunately, did not have cockroaches in it and none were seen for the remainder of my stay.

Front desk staff was courteous at check in. Bugs,(roaches) were present in the sleeping area and bathroom. Furnishings and decor was extremely old and dilapidated. Outlets falling out of the walls. Light fixtures broken

There's nothing I can complain about because they made me feel welcomed and at home love the environment of the place and the staff as well. They're all were awesome ?

Checked in around 7 pm and that was good. Went out for awhile and then came back. As we looked around there was a makeshift toilet tank top that didn't come close to fitting. Fell asleep lying on top of the bedspread but crawled under the covers some time during the night. Woke up the next morning and found what looked to be some black stains on the sheets...a big crawling on the bed and one crawling on my wife's bag. Pulled out the desk chair and found a huge stain in the middle of it. Got pics if you want them!

I was in room 101 and I kept hearing some kind of generator or something coming on outside. I was awake all night long. I went out to smoke in my car three times in the middle of the night and that’s not me if I go to sleep, I go to sleep. I never went to sleep when I finally fell asleep at 3 AM. The phone rings at 5 AM since this is your wake up call hello I did not order a wake up call so I went down to the desk and I told the man he said I will talk to my manager and see what we can do about this. I am very dissatisfied.

I stayed in one of their theme suites and it was very affordable and really really nice. I loved the big jacuzzi with the mirrors surrounding it. That I couldn't stay longer because I was only in town for one night.

Thank goodness they gave me a refund. This place is disgusting. The room smelled like urine. There was black mold growing in a wet spot in the bathroom. The door to the hallway had a crack where you could see out/in. There were dead bugs. Stay away

Manager handled our issue ok BED BUGS bit my allergic-to-biting-insects daughter literally from head to toe. Whole building smelled like cigarette and marijuana smoke, and it kept coming in our bayhroom somehow then wafted out into the rest of the room. Elevator was broken. Room was dirty. Refrigerator was moldy and a shelf was broken. Breakfast was a joke (cold cereal, white bread to toast, waffles, coffee, juice, not even fruit or water to drink unless you want to buy it from the vending machine). Need I go on?

Ac worked a few seconds only, toilet didn’t refill tank after flush. Saw a few small roaches, and remote would not lower tv volume.

My bed had a cockroach on it, it fell off the bed and I took a picture of it!!! Absolutely disgusting!!!

But, it is rated as a 2 Star motel and the price was reasonable. Also I am a 50+ year old so the bed is probably fine for a younger adult. Overall, a good place to stay at a good location for a good price.

First room was infested with bedbugs and the 2nd room had roaches everywhere. So gross!

Horrible!! We got in late and were so tired but the toilet didn’t flush unless you took lid off to do it from there and fridge didn’t work. But just needed to sleep after long drive so didn’t worry about going thru trouble of moving rooms since we needed it for sleep. Then the cleaning ladies came twice before check out asking if we were leaving or staying we won’t be back!

The room was supposed to smoke free, yet there was an ash tray in the room, it smelled like it had been smoked in. Everything about the room felt old and unkept.

When I checked into the hotel when I walked in I saw a roach walking across the top of the desk. Went and asked for a different room and the bathroom countertops had burn marks from someone smoking, also had bugs on the floor. The sheets had stains on them. Ended up leaving the hotel right then.. Front desk clerk was very nice.

Overall it was a good stay. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The room smelled very strongly of cleaner when I arrived. Luckily the windows opened so I was able to air it out. The bathroom was in rough shape, looked in serious need of some repair work. The shower had terrible pressure and didn't get very hot.

This place is a cockroach motel. The rooms are in horrible shape, nothing worked. The plumbing was terrible, the room smelled awful. I tried to cancel the last day, the staff could not do anything, Expedia would not help, had to talk to the manager that was never around. I literally felt like I was robbed of money to stay there. Please pay a few bucks more and stay somewhere else. Oh and this will be my last stay purchased on Expedia as well. And if you think I am joking about the roaches go ahead and book a room.

Shower water never gets hot, just stays lupewarm. Second day I discovered multiple bugs/roaches crawling up the walls and bathtub.

I had stayed here 10 or so years ago. It has went way downhill since then. The people were nice enough and it was clean enough. But the property has lots of things that need to be addressed maintainence and asthetically.

My stay was good but with small adjustments would have been great! The bathroom had urine smell that infiltrated into the room. The breakfast was all sugary items except for the waffle and no protein at all. The inconvenience of not having iron and ironing board in the room. No coffee or water in the room.

The shower had hair in it, there were a couple of German roaches, the top blanket on the bed looked to be 30 years old Will never stay there again and wouldn’t encourage others to stay

It smelled like smoke

We had to be switched to three different rooms because of cleanliness and cockroaches. I was bitten by some type of bug that left welts on my leg. First room had stains on the sheets, second had the bugs, third had cigarette burns on the sheets. The front desk person never apologized or compensated us for the trouble she just kept moving the rooms. At the point of the third room I was so exhausted I gave in and dealt with it even though my kids wanted to leave.

This property was infested with roaches

The odor is bad. It seems moldy and dirty. A renovation of the property is over due. Close one room at a time and renovate. The dingy look is not a good look. It's cheap but still not worth it.

Roaches in the room, would not stay there again

The comfort of the room was ok, good for one night, but there was visible signs that the room was not kept up. The fan in the bathroom was so full of dust, not sure it served any purpose. Had a few bugs running around the floor, but it’s Texas, a few bugs is normal. We were 3 people and only towels for 2. But besides that, if it came down to it, we would stay there again for a night. It was quiet and peaceful, no disturbance and you have food and restaurants close by.

Needs maintenance. Bathroom faucet leaked. Door trim barely still attached. Only 1 ice machine and it was out of order.

The air was not on when we arrived. After being there an hour it was still very hot and uncomfortable. Then, roaches started crawling around. The blanket had cigarette burns in it. The security chain on the door was broken. The hall didn’t smell very fresh.

At 3am a man unlocked my room and tried to enter . I was jolted awake when I heard the chain on my door. He said he wanted to turn off the light in the room. He never identified himself as a hotel employee when trying to get in my room. I called the front desk to report it and I recognized his voice . Report was made with police . Never was an apology given from hotel staff. The owner brushed it off as accident and said the employee thought the room had been vacated. He tried twice to get into my room . I was a single female which paperwork stated . The young man thought the whole incident funny . Laughed the whole time at the police and my reporting to front desk . Very dangerous situation!!

Check in lady was awesome. However, as soon as we opened the door to both rooms, there roaches were small everywhere. We didn’t even walk into the room.

Dirty and smelly, sink was messed up and there was no iron. When we asked for one they gave us one that barely worked and it was the only one they had. I've used other Super 8 before and they were good but not this one. Do not use it

This place smelled aweful, the room was infested with cockroches. They are crawling on bed, counters, restroom, and floors. I even had them in my bags. It was supposed to be a none smoking and the room smelled like cigarettes, and smoke. I was only there for two hours before i asked to get refund, and checked out. I was told I had to call back at 9am in morning to speak with manager. This was an aweful experience. Why would someone be allowing people to stay in place that is infested with bugs. I took pictures of the bugs, and video.

Very friendly young man greeted me. There is a problem with the computers. Gentleman bypass that and got me to my room without hesitation. Highly recommend this location.

The host was friendly and the facilities were great, clean room and great staff.

We arrived around 1am, and wanted to sleep until just before check out. At 1015am, someone was knocking on or around our door. Then a vacuum was bumping the door from the hall at 1030am. The lobby was pretty, the staff was nice to our face, but that was irritating.

Fair price

The property could use some updates and our room although "cleaned" everyday had not been dusted. It was a good location and the price was not bad. All in all for the amount of time spent actually in the room it was good

We had a good stay wish we ciukd have stayed longer. But, the sucky part is they say their elavator doesnt work and my grandmother-in- law is 85 years of age and has a very hard time climbing the stairs and they always putbus on the top floor. Also we requested extra towles and rags and floor towel and hand towels and never got them and also we always need an extra blancket my grandmother get very cold easily and never got it either but other then that everythkng was good

Son and I both woke up to find we had bites all over us. So both beds had bedbugs. Took a 5 minute shower in the morning and the hot water did not last even that long. The flooring was t laid properly so the fake wood planks bowed, causing a trip hazard. The bed and pillows were comfy and I would have said it was pleasant if it weren’t for the bugs. Elevator was out and I’m pretty sure there was no air-conditioning on outside of the actual rooms. Couldn’t pay me to go back.

Had to pay twice for the same room because they said I was late..and won’t refund me the first charge on my card. I was tired and late due to traffic on the road,,got room on the 3rd floor with no elevator working ,,the hall way was hot the room was very hot..from desk person was friendly and helpful but the hotel policy I don’t agree with ..if you pay for a room from 3pm to 11 am it should be the customers regardless of the time the shows up…I Will never stay at that hotel

The hotel smelled like curry indian food. The AC didnt cool unless it was under 70 ° f. There was no fan in the bathroom and there was sticky residue on the furniture tops

The price is high for the condition this place is in. Very dirty and the floor was broken. Had to switch rooms because of the unevenness.

The non-smoking room smelled of smoking. The outlets were hanging out of the wall. Corners were full of dirt, trash was still in trashcan. Room floors made so much noise when you walked around the room.

It was an adventure for sure. We had a reservation for 3 rooms. In our room they tried to get in and when we open the door they said the front desk gave them that room. On the second room it didn’t have a second lock. So they were able to get a new room and the second room smell like pot horrible and we had kids.

Had booked it for 3 nights but as soon as I got to the area I didn’t like it. Worse when I walked in the somewhat called lobby. It was dirty and old and smelled like cigarettes. Was tired so I stayed there and they let me only stay one night rather than 3. Front desk young lady was very nice in helping cancel the 2 other nights. Elevator was dirty and room was old definatel needs an update. Not comfortable taking off my shoes and didn’t even want to use the shower. Will not go back.

Awsome calm and clean

Property was clean and quiet, but nothing special. If you just need a place to sleep, it works great.

The young lady working the front desk was polite, helpful, and knowledgeable of her job. The facility is a little older, making it a tad bit dated but very clean and most everything was in working order. Beds were comfy. Showers were hot. And parking lot is well lit making one feel very safe.

Perfect for passing through, no bedbugs. I smoke cigarettes, so having a smoking room is very convenient especially when it’s really cold outside. Certain small things could have been a little cleaner such as walls and bathroom but other than that I will be staying there again. The best part is there is no deposit because it’s a smoking in Hotel ‼️

Bed was decent. The shower had a leak, there was a cigarette burn in the sheets, and there was a siringe that fell when I moved the chair.

Do NOT stay here. The o ly goos thing i can say about it is the blow dryer worked really good. It was dorty, the bedding was clean but had stains, the floor was sticky throughout the whole room, there was a bar of soap in the shower from the past people, Both faucets in the bathroom ran constantly. The beds are horrible and the pillows were yuck.

Checking in was easy. But there were german cockroaches in the room I came across several during my one night stay.

I have stayed here before and it seems to be going downhill deep condition sheets bedding for dingy pillows we're not comfortable the overall condition of the room was run down I could walk through the hallways and smell smoke and marijuana the elevator was broken so I had to climb to the third floor via stairs there were no complimentary coffee in the room the complimentary soaps were very limited there was no lotion available or conditioner or was a parquet floor that was not installed properly and buckles under your feet. Once I got to the third floor there was garbage Laying across the hallway up and down the hallway The only positive about it was I had a very nice young gentleman who was the clerk check me in very efficient and that's where the good experience ended I do not recommend this hotel for the price that they are charging it is far from being worth what they charge

This property was very dirty and homeless outside sitting around. The room was very dirty with roaches in the room and the bed had tons of stains on bedding. Would not recommend this hotel to stay for a family.

Will not go back and would not recommend this property. They need to post recent pictures of the property and employees.

Let me start off by saying this is the worst motel I have ever stayed in my son and I went to the bathroom and there was cockroaches on the wall cockroaches on the floor. There was cockroaches everywhere that is crazy. The place was dirty. The staff members belly was hanging out, they should change their name from Motel eight to the dump in motel. Should be a shame to let these people carry their title.

The owner of this property should be ashamed. Small repairs such as loose towel bar, broken elevator button, stained toilet and sink can't be repaired. Also, smells musty and smokey in hallway and room. I suppose guests are not worthy of these minor repairs. Major upgrade needed. I will not recommend.
