The location was GREAT. All the eateries are by this hotel! Plus Sam's & Walmart are walking distance, across the street is Target! The walls are a little to thin and you can hear ppl coming & going, talking.

During our visit at in the latter half of May 2026, the elevators were not working and our room was located near a stairwell. We heard constant noise from the stairwell until late in the evening. Breakfast area shut down 25 minutes early and we made note to the manager. She rectified the situation by comping our room.

The staff were all wonderful. I was however very disappointed in our room. The light in the bathroom wouldn’t come on, nor would 3 other lights in our bedroom. And stains everywhere in our room. Also our toilet was broken and every time you sat on it you almost fell off. You also had to pick up the toilet lever or it would continue to run.

Lack of maintenance and carpet needs to clean throughly, toilet needs to fixed. Front desk personnel is so nice and friendly and the staff are very friendly too.

Room was clean, the check in staff was great and friendly. We had no refrigerator in our room which was advertised as having one. The staff on duty thought there was one and when I said there was an empty space where one belonged they weren’t helpful or at all worried that we had items that needed refrigerated. Just said we can get one in there after the weekend.

The room and hallways stunk. Had so much air freshener in the hall you could see if under the lights.

Maintenance of the room was not fairfield standard - faded wallpaper, mishung curtains, tv not working, etc. Breakfast was amazing and well stocked - you can tell the staff really takes pride in breakfast. Listing says there is a hot tub but there is not. One pool photo on the listing is completely wrong. The website suggests you can do laps in the pool but it’s tiny.

I was almost 5 hours away and i got the room in advance and i jad an emergency and inwasnt able to drive 5 hours to staybin room and they refused to refund me and i planned on returning to that hotel but not anymore

A nice, newer property. Loved the room, breakfast was pretty good, not spectacular, but pretty good. Everyone was very friendly and it's in a good area with restaurants nearby. Too bad they can't do anything about the construction out front on the freeway!

Amazing Stay! We went for family fun. The staff was so polite and helpful from check in to check out. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. The sweet lady that was managing breakfast was the best. She made sure everything was always stocked and she was so sweet. We enjoyed our stay and hopefully will be back soon!

Fairfield Inn and Suites Denton is our home away from home. Our family meets up there about once per year to gather from all over the country. We always appreciate the kindnesses offered and attention to detail from Debbie, Dawn, and the entire staff at that location. Grateful!

FOR THE PRICE OF THE ROOM THE CONDITION SHOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. CURTAIN HANGING DOWN, PLASTIC ROD MISSING OFF CURTAINS, CLOSET DOOR OFF THE TRACK. AND OF COURSE THE ROACH AND CRICKET IN THE BATHROOM JUST TOPPED IT ALL OFF.

The hotel seemed a bit undermaintained when looking closely and sliding entrance doors and common areas. In our "suite" three of the lights did not work and under the floating nightstand a wall cover had fallen or placed on the floor, exposing a hodgepodge of wires, splices and cords. We will pass on this property in the future.

Hotel and surrounding were great. I was no impressed that I had to ask for my doll room to be cleaned and for new towels and when I returned 6 hours late it had not been done and I was told that housekeeping was gone for the day. I did let the general manager know when I checked out.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, the first night though the A/C was having trouble cooling down the room, second night it seemed to be better, but still never getting to the number we set it to.

Staff was so very very nice especially the gentleman on the evening shift the day we were there.

2 lights in room did not work. tissues almost empty on arrival. desk clerk they wouldsens some up, never got there. pool water was merky. a/c didn't work well, woke up during the night sweating several times. eleverator door squeals when opening and closing. rub marks on door from rubbing against something, worried about safety

One night stay which was very nice. Everything was clean and tidy. Front desk staff member was courteous and efficient. Our room was quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean.

This is an excellent place to stay. The location is perfect if you’re traveling. Plenty of shopping and a big variety of restaurants within a short walk. We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the entire property- whatever the salary of the workers is….they deserve double….friendly and helpful !

I have never written a review in my life. This hotel would not let me husband check in because the reservation was in my name. I called hotels.com and changed the reservation, hotels.com called the hotel to confirm, and Marriott headquarters sent a confirmation email as well. The hotel cancelled our reservation and sent my husband away. I was not there because my daughter was at Camp Mystic when the flooding happened last week and we are all still struggling, so I am home with her.This hotel should be ashamed of itself.

Always a comfortable and enjoyable stay when I visit Denton. The front desk staff are really wonderful and the premises feel safe and location is extremely convenient.

Arrived at the front desk. Hotel.com sent the reservation with no digital payment. I sat at the front desk for 45 minutes trying to obtain the required payment info to get my room. Customer Service said they would refund me the money and the hotel agreed to honor the rate for the inconvenience. Rep told me that he would send a refund confirmation that I did not receive.

Very clean and nice hotel. The only drawback is an extremely small pool.

Light was out in bathroom and I reported it but not addressed during our stay.our room was not cleaned when we got back to hotel. Manager said housekeeping was gone for day. I did request 2 clean towels and they were provided.

2) The coffee maker did not work properly

This hotel was clean. The bed and pillows were comfy. The shower was good with plenty of nice towels. The included breakfast was good with several options. My only negative comment is that the one electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work. There were plenty of outlets in the room but not near the one mirror. I reported it upon checkout.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was not a fan of the shower door that seemed to be installed at an angle as it kept sliding partly open. Also the bathroom ceiling paint was delaminating. The wifi service was very spotty. Had to use the hotspot from my phone to work. The AC unit couldn't be turned off fully. You could only disengage the AC but the fan constantly blows which was also annoying. There are nicer hotels for similar pricing.

I booked a King suite and they put me in a queen suite. Also the day of checkout they changed out the boiler without notice so I was not able to take a shower upon departure.

The front desk lady that works mornings did nothing to complete my request. All I wanted was to have a view of Braums parking lot. The room was 55° on the coolest nights of the year. The heater didn't work and wasn't on when I arrived. Had to turn on emergency heat.

I checked in late last night around 12 am. The lady at the Front Desk was extremely helpful and professional. I recommend this hotel.

Everything is great. The room is clean, Friendly service. The only problem I ran into was my lights went out around 4 o’clock that morning on Friday come back on like 8 o’clock that morning.

This is an okay hotel but I gave this hotel a 3 rating for a couple reasons. I see here they show our dates from 12/23-26/2024. Our reservation was actually 12/24 (Christmas Eve)-27 so I'm not sure why they have the date wrong. Check in was quick and easy and both the night and morning desk people were very nice. The room size was large and the bathroom was also large however the shower water pressure was on the low side. Also, whenever the person above us walked across their room the floor would creak with every step. So maybe ask for a third floor room. The breakfast was only mediocre. The eggs tasted like real eggs (not powdered) but they only had turkey sausage as a meat and it was thinly cut and overcooked so it was dry. There is a Cracker Barrel right next to this hotel and I would recommend going there for breakfast. On check out, I told them to just e-mail me my receipt. The day after I returned home, I was shocked to see that they had charged me $42 for food from their marketplace area. The day person said I would need to talk to the manager on Monday. When I spoke with the manager she told me someone had purchased food and used our room number, but she did issue a refund. So I learned a lesson, I will now never leave a hotel without seeing the bill before I go. This hotel does have easy access to I-35 and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. I would stay here again, but I would ask for a third floor room, eat breakfast out, and check the bill before leaving.

Only things I would change, are 1. brighter (not yellow) lights in the bathroom because it makes a difference when getting ready and dressed up and 2. Our window was facing the Best Western and looking directly at the rooms right next to us and felt too close and uncomfortable to have the windows opened at all for natural light. Besides this it really was a nice stay.

1. Despite our specific request to the service lady to clean the room and replace the bedsheets, the room was uncleaned. The worst part was she cleaned the washroom but left the room dirty. 2. We didn’t receive water bottles until we asked for them. 3. The landline wasn’t working, but we didn’t make a big deal out of it. Regarding room service, we called the front desk on the 2nd night, and person named Jaden answered our call and noted our complaint. However, we never received any further response from them. The room was dirty, and we couldn’t stay there any longer. That night we slept at friend’s place. The next morning, we informed the front desk lady, Debbie, that we needed room service and asked her why the room hadn’t been cleaned the previous night. We also provided feedback to prevent similar incidents from happening to other guests. However, Debbie was incredibly rude and arrogant, refusing to listen to our concerns and arguing with us instead. I believe she was overly arrogant and egoistic. The next morning, at the time of checkout, Debbie charged my credit card (even though I had specifically requested to pay with cash at the time of check-in, and the person at the front desk had accepted it). She claimed that she couldn’t accept cash because the credit card had already been charged. Overall this was one of the worst stays ever.

Convenient location right off of the interstate with plenty of restaurants, gas stations and grocery stores nearby.

Good Hotel - I would stay if I return to Denton

Very friendly and helpful staff, easy check in, good breakfast. Room itself had some issues. Very buggy. Found several black beetle type insects in the bathroom over the two days I was there. They appeared to live within the walls and I watched them crawl into the cracks. Shower head was coming out of the wall as well. Not the worst hotel experience but certainly not what I’m used to at Fairfield Inns.

Property was in a location that had many homeless people walking around. Didn’t feel my vehicle was truly in a safe spot. The building doesn’t insulate rooms very well, so you are very aware of the people around your space. You can hear everything in the hallways and above your room. Staff didn’t welcome us when we arrived. I would say that’s probably due to staffing being low, so I can excuse that. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, the AC worked great, and the TV had good options to choose from.

I reached out to the property twice in the next 36 hrs amd still, 2 weeks later, not a si gle reply! Avoid this property at all costs. They dont give two craps about you. Only what pleases them. Im also calling Marriot corporate to submit a formal complaint. AT LEAST CALL PR MESSAGE ME BACK TO ADDRESS THIS GOD AWFUL NIGHT.

The room was not cleaned before we were given the room. It smelled like bengay. And we waited for quite some timw for anyone to come to the front desk to check us in.

The only criticism I have is that the pool was gross and had mildew buildup at the bottom. If it was closed for the season, they shouldve closed off that area to guests. Aside from that, the room was nice and the bed was very comfy.

When I arrived i saw they were putting on a new roof. My room was on third floor so all I could hear was hammers banging on the roof from 2pm-6pm . No sleeping late on Sunday morning , the hammering started again at daylight. It would have been nice to know the roof was being redone.

On line does not say still in renovations. This was my granddaughters and my get away to shop were disappointed. The hall to our room had no ceiling. The girls saw all the metal and everything. When I asked the employee about it I was told it was due to renovations being done! No apology offered! About 2:45 am we were awakened by being hot and the smell of something being overheated. The air conditioner apparently stopped working from being too hot???? By about 4:00 am air came back on. Fell back to sleep only to be awakened at 6:00 am by the roofers. I understand renovations have to be done but we should have been told what to expect! My granddaughters do not get to stay in a hotel very often and this was not a good time for them. However I will stay the lobby and dining room were very nice. And our room was very clean and had plenty of towels. The microwave and fridge being down in the cabinet was inconvenient. The closet door top latch was broken so had to be careful when opening. There was no chair in the room so had to sit on beds. I am generally not a complainer but I wanted our time together to be really nice and not knowing the renovation was still in progress was a real disappointment. Again the room was very clean and the beds comfortable. The morning staff were very nice. And being from Wichita Falls the location was great. Plan to return to Denton in October or first of December and hopefully renovations will be over.

Nice hotel. Great place to stay when attending concerts at WinStar. Not too far to drive and easy to get to.

The staff at this location always make us feel so at home. The folks who so graciously clean the facility are so very kind as well. We have stayed at this location many times and will return. Thank you, Debbie, for always welcoming us.

Great hotel, clean rooms, nice beds, good breakfast. Great little ice cream place right next door…recommend getting ice cream there. We didn’t use the pool but it’s pretty small.

The front staff were very friendly and helpful. The room smelled musty and we both had nasal issues all night. The shower had a broken shelf and the shower head wasn’t attached well to the wall (caulking was broken and the pipe wiggled in the wall.

We said here based on a last minute decision. We were driving through Texas and decided to call it a night. We loved our stay here. Hotel was very clean.

Low flush toilets were awful especially on 3rd floor. Maybe due to water pressure? But shower was fine. Construction on first floor made stairs unusable since they ended on first floor in middle of construction. Breakfast was good in mornings. Good variety to pick from. Room service is only every other day. Room was clean and spacious.

Love the cleanliness of the room and spaciousness. I always stay here when traveling to Denton. Added plus was the mini fridge and microwave in my room.

The property had a water leak in the 1st floor and it was separated by plastic wrap and tape. The fitness room was affected and some of the wall was missing. There were remediation fans blowing. The fitness should have been sealed better from the rest of the flooded area. It’s a very clean property.

All staff was helpful and caring and we did not experience and issues with other guests. Over all an excellent experience, i works stay here again.
