-
Great spot in the mountains and very close to the Denali National Park entrance!

Holland America is really spread out but there is constant shuttle services for guests’ convenience. Two great onsite dine-in restaurants. Had meals at both and very nice. Lot of cruise guests who constantly have to navigate. Had a great room.

It was a great experience

Amazing location, great shuttle services, excellent in-house entertainment quality and very good hospitality by the hotel staff.

The people working were very kind and friendly.

Nice staff, nice place

Excellent rooms! There was some really nice little trails that we could lock on around the property as well.

They did not clean our rooms once during our stay. We had to ask for clean towels and when they brought them to our rooms, they asked my wife & I to put the dirty towels in a bag to remove from our room. This is NOT the kind of stop the level of service I expect from a full-service hotel. At these prices we were very disappointed.

The property was easily accessible to Denali national park. The staff was friendly. The wifi was not the best.

It is a beautiful lodge. We loved the restaurant and the very private rooms.

Quiet and nice Great transportation
-
Staff was friendly. Parking was free and close to cabin room. Rooms were basic but met needs - had a call to see northern lights but when we walked outside there were none. Rather it was drizzling so with clouds you can see them, call doesnt make sense

Loved the property with great restaurants and close to the park.

I loved the big clean rooms and comfortable beds especially after 2 days of backcountry hiking in Denali National Park, Each unit is divided into quiet mini compounds giving you a serene view of the Nanana River and Forested grounds.

I was given a room at the very farthest outlying building (building “Z”) which is a long walk, down steep stairs, from the main lodge. Apparently there are shuttles, but they seem few and far between. I opened “my” door and was shocked to see a naked man! He said he had been in that room for a day already. I called the desk to report the mix-up asking for a different room. I explained I was alone and in a remote area and afraid of animals. While waiting, and I swear, I am not making this up! A bear came out of the woods 20 feet away! Apparently the staff know about this bear! I was given a new room (next door to the equally surprised naked man) and I am surely hoping for no more drama! This 63 year old single lady traveler has certainly had enough for one day!

Food was good in hotel restaurant. The property & location were convenient. Our room was a one bedroom king. Carpet was old & furniture was old, shower was good.
-
The views are spectacular and the staff are amazing. The bus transportation was efficient and organized.

Restaurant was a disaster. Servers did not know which table food belonged to. Two of four dishes showed up but the next one took 20 minutes. The fourth dish had to be re-requested as they thought it had already been delivered. Everyone else had already finished by then. Spoke to manager to ensure he was aware. He was well aware. Blamed it on new staff, but no real acknowledgement that management has a responsibility for proper onboarding on new staff. Frankly felt bad for the server.

Dated facilities, double bed not queen! First floor rooms will hear every move of upstairs!
