Very good property nestled in woods. The road to the hotel is uphill however the shuttle service is really good. The staff is very helpful and we very much enjoyed our stay. Just one point to note - If you arrive from Fairbanks by train you reach hotel by 12:30 pm and your room may not be ready till 4pm. It happened to us and we would have appreciated clear timeline for room availability so that we could have used those 4 hrs going to visitor center in the Denali park.

Adorable little cabins with great Mountain View’s. Staff were fantastic and always professional and polite. If we needed help, it came immediately. Great location near shops, ice cream and restaurants. Amazing pizza at Prospectors . When booking , there was a 49th State restaurant on site. Upon arrival, it was a new restaurant called Takos. We were disappointed with that. Dinner was good, but $12-$19 for a breakfast burrito and coffee was not for us. Would definitely stay again.

Everything went well. Only complaint is that the shuttle wasn't available all day. Being out of service for several hours in the middle of the day was not very helpful

We had an excellent experience at Crows Nest! The cabin was very comfortable - the king bed was very nice and the large cooler outside was helpful. They have complimentary coffee, ice for the cooler and a nice hot tub. The location is excellent close to the “action” but up away from the busyness.

Arrived 10:45pm, but the front office closed at 10pm. We checked in at Tako restaurant, and they were super helpful and easily able to speak to resort manager and got us checked in. I didn't realize parking lot was a few stories below cabin, so we got taken up in 4x4/Golf Cart, which was fine. Just be aware you will do many flights of stairs without using resort assistance. No problem for me and kids. I like the climbing :). We got to room and room was good. Heater was on, so room was really hot for me and my kids. No worries, we opened a few windows. We were ready for bed, and closed curtains in room, which have something to be desired for anyone needing "black out". Bring face cover if you are light sensitive at night sleeping. We had one for my son luckily! Adjacent restaurant had really good chips/salsa and variety of tacos. Got 2 free drinks at bar for stay. There is ice chest outside each room and available ice bags to keep any perishables cool. We didn't have anything, so didn't need to use. Very short drive to Denali Park entrance. May not have been exactly what I has imagined, but was very nice for our stay. My kids said it was "cute and cozy"!

Great place to be when you are going to and from Denali National Park area. Local food is good too.
-
Great hot tub with mountain view. Staff was amazing
-
We made last minute arrangements for the Crows Nest , we were the first guests there under the new ownership , staff was great , cabin on the side of a mountain was good for a one night stay it was small and kinda out of level , the walkway to get to town isn’t very doable for older folks and the driveway was very steep for walking

It is very conveniently located, I was able to go running from there to the park in my morning runs.

Loved it!

It was okay. The only problem was they cut out the water without notice and didn't resolve the problem.

The cabin had very little heat. We had no water in the sink until someone came and installed a new faucet. The shower had water that changed from scalding to freezing every one or two seconds. We would not recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our four night stay as the entire staff went out of their way to meet your requests. What we did not expect was the up hill location of the level five cabins. As is typical of many shops and other locations in mountain towns, there was a lot of trekking up and down stairs. Be sure to get a lower level cabin if you have difficulty navigating stairs. Staff will take you in golf carts if you ask. Denali is awesome and Crow’s Nest is very close to shops and restaurants—just have to climb down if you do not have a vehicle. Views are great from their restaurant deck and the cabins.

Adorable cabin-like rooms and property close to Denali.
-
Its location is very convenient. The facility is a bit simple but providing the essential living needs.

Everything was great. Except the TV was either hard to get working or just didn't work. The staff was helpful in trying to get it to work, but we couldn't. I'd come back again though.
-
The biggest frustration we experienced is the ill-organized and often late shuttle service. Other than that, it is worth a visit.
-
