The room was dirty. It literally had trash on the floor. I got a room with a pull out. The check in person knew the sheets weren't in the room and didn't tell me. I was in the room and had to go back to the front desk and ask for them.

Overall very nice stay! Hot tub and pool in working order, breakfast food and restocked. We did change rooms at check in due to an AC leak but the staff were very accommodating and helpful in getting us a new room.

Pool water was green. Could not use it.

All staff were nice just wish they could have had something for kids. The only thing is that sauna was not very hot. Everything else was excellent.

Paid a premium compared to the surrounding hotels and this location didn't meet expectations. The building seemed to be neglected (broken tiles, broken shower know, scuffs on walls) and the room had a musty smell to it. Reserved this location for the "breakfast included" because it's Christmas day and there's no where else to eat but there was NO breakfast. The continental breakfast was closed at 9:30AM while my checkout was at 11AM. The breakfast room looked to be occupied by a private party. Overall not an ideal location. Priced double to the surrounding hotels for what? Save your money and book elsewhere

Clean and nice room. The front desk was very pleasant and friendly at check-in and when I called to confirm we had an accessible room. This was my 2nd visit and I would definitely recommend staying here.

The pool needs to be cleaned!! The hall carpets need to either be replaced or a VERY deep cleaning! They r dingy looking. The pancake machine was not working when we (my 2 grandsons and myself) were there. The biscuits and gravy were great tho!Also it would be nice to have been able to turn on the jets in the hot tub.. the dryers on the second floor are super quick, it gets real hot and for a quarter u can dry everything. Money needs to be spent giving this location a face lift. It deserves it!!!

The biggest problem I had was trying to get made service. They don’t clean the rooms for the extended stay guest every day.

I got this hotel because it had a hot tub. After checking in and we went down to use the hot tub it was out of order once I went back to the front desk they told me they could not do anything because I’ve used Expedia for booking. And that’s the only reason that I chose that hotel. Otherwise, I would have chose another one because I was not gonna be there long.

The staff were very helpful and cheerful. This trip was a school trip with students presenting at NASA. The location was convenient and safe.

Front desk staff was not trained but was on duty by herself. Charged us 40 over booking price to change payment method from one card to another, even though we had selected "pay at property". Hot tub does not work.

Our room was especially large and well taken care of. The pillows were out of this world soft! We loved the full sized Dove products in the bathroom. Breakfast was hot and fresh each morning and the dining room well kept. We would pick this location again!

Every staff member was very nice and helpful. We didn’t have any housekeeping service for two days and I had to go down to the front desk for more wash clothes and sheets. The hotel can use a little TLC but the breakfast was great. I would stay there again.

Great check in experience. The staff was super friendly throughout our entire thanksgiving stay. No breakfast on the holiday but every other day was good. The rosemary potatoes were amazing! The room was clean and spacious and I definitely made use of the gym. Cardio, free weights and cable machine and mat. IHG is pretty consistent with quality and staff friendliness. The only ick factor was the tub. It was stained badly and slightly caved in the middle. Logically, I know it’s clean, but it do ant look it. The bed was a bit too soft for me.

We loved all the small details like sewing kit, body soaps and shampoos, etc

Disappointed that the hot tub was not available for our stay. It was exactly what we needed to relax after a long drive.

Not what i expected, the bathroom was dirty and carpets in room looked old, did not meet my expecatations of Holiday Inn standards

It was clean, the staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was great and it saved me a lot of time. The person who was working the breakfast area was very nice and a hard worker. The area was clean and well stocked. The person who checked me in Friday was also excellent and very helpful. Over all this hotel was great and I would stay there again.

We rented a room at this property because it claims it had a swimming pool when we got to the property. The pool was closed and had been closed for one to two months according to the staff no one told us about the pool being closed or else we would have selected another hotel very disappointing.

Shower didn’t want to work after we used the sink in the actual room

Property was safe and quiet,close to the event I attended. Wish the pool was open longer into the season still 90 degrees but pool was closed for season and was one of the reasons we chose to get the room my kids are lil fishes .

To be honest the hotel was nice, the snack bar was stocked, and the room was perfect. The only thing I would have changed was probably an updated bathtub. The room and restroom looked new, but the bathtub looked old.

Rooms were clean and spacious. I stated to desk clerk the smell in the room was giving me a headache. Response was they were all full and could not move me. I was told a room was coming available the next day and i could probably switch then. When i came back the next afternoon desk clerk said they were full and i could not be moved. I tried to cancel my stay and was still going to be charged for not staying in that room. I called the manager. She accommodated a room transfer.

Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was excellent, they had a variety of items each day. This is helpful especially when you have children and stay more than 1 night. The hotels does need some minor repairs, the pool are needs more night lights, some families can to pool area after long day. Overall staff and hotel were great. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel on our next trip to Houston.

Very friendly staff, very clean. It was just really comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like was that the TV remote wasn’t working you had to do it manually.

Roaches in the pool, coffee maker filled with roaches … refrigerator broken … room service not done another day … stayed 2 nights … spoke with manager (she apologized and could not help) front office manager great guy his hands tied and couldn’t help … hence 2 days money and stay wasted …

The tv was not working and when we called to ask for help they told us to turn power strip off and on behind tv. When that didn’t do anything, we ask for a small compensation. They could not do anything because we booked through a 3rd party. So we laid in bed wirh no tv. Which should be a basic amenity in the room.

This hotel is an older property. There was black mold in the shower caulking. The water pressure in the bathroom was barely enough to wash your hands or brush your teeth. The room seemed clean. However, the carpet is old and stained and it just needs a refresh. I stayed for 4 nights and it served it's purpose. I would probably stay somewhere else next time. Breakfast is free and was ok.

Our stay was great. Room was clean staff was friendly. My issue is that I would have saved $20 plus the taxes if i would have booked with the Hotel directly.

We were in town to attend a party so we only stayed overnight. I chose this hotel for it’s convenience to our friend’s house and I was very happy with my choice. The front desk attendant was very friendly and welcoming. Check-in was easy. The property was well maintained and our room was very clean. I particularly liked how quiet our 2nd floor room was and our king size bed was so comfortable, we slept like babies! If we are ever in the area, I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

The green pool and filthy hot tub. Room was ok except shower had an area that looked like it may be the start of black mold and the toilet having water issues and filling with water extremely slow so that you can flush it. I would like all or part of my money back.

Room shows need of updating, trash from previous guest was present. Water pressure was very weak and air conditioning was inconsistent. Dog was barking all night

The staff were great and helped with any problems we had. The room was spacious clean and nice. Beds nice. We booked at this hotel specifically location and tub and the hot tub didn’t even work both days off here. I think it should have been advertised out of commission so we could have booked elsewhere. Other than that it was good!

The property, location were fine and front staff were very friendly. There was no hairdryer in the room and front desk didn’t seem to know where extras were kept. That’s okay, no biggie. But you could tell they had not cleaned the bathroom. Very dusty, sink was dirty (dried toothpaste all over it), floor didn’t seem swept.

The staff was excellent, very helpful and courteous. The only inconvenience was breakfast ending at 9:30 is a little too early when you are vacationing which means you are up later than usual and want a little extra sleep.

A little mildew around soap dish..a little tilex will solve the problem. Everything else was great.

The room was large but the sofa and chair were heavily stained and dirty.

The stay started out with no wifi, went to the front desk and was no help. Directv was going in and out due to wind, being a Directv customer for over 20 years this has never happened due to wind, the mast for dish needed to be braced wind wouldn't have affected reception. The remote in room also Directv didn't either.. Very noisy hope you don't want to sleep...

I’ve never in my life seen a holiday inn with this many problems. Over booked rooms missed by cleaners absolutely a mess. Hotel manager was good but the receptionist yelled at the couple checking in in front of us who they had checked into an occupied room.

The tv in my first room didn’t work. Was moved to a second room and that tv didn’t work either. I called the front desk attendant and she could not get either tv to work either. Room was not super clean. Trash pieces on floor, stains on sofa. The bath rug had holes in it. Got a “run down” vibe from the experience. Will not be returning to this location next time I’m in the area.

I liked the ability to leave my vehicle there during my trip at a great rate, however I was greatly disappointed that they could not shuttle me back to my vehicle when we flew in late due to weather. They stated that their shuttle was down for repairs

Rooms very clean and comfortable. Staff friendly. Ice machine on first floor didn’t work. There was ice on third floor but elevator didn’t work. Handicap cannot climb 3 flights of stairs. Saturday morning one of the desk clerks was nice enough to go get me a bucket of ice. Other 2 days I had none. Vending machine was unplugged. I’m guessing didn’t work. Pop machine all empty but one that said root beer. Pushed button and it was Coke Zero.

Last minute trip to visit San Jacinto, chose this hotel from the Hotels dot com site as we have usually been happy with Holiday Inn Express. We were happy we did. Desk clerk had our keys waiting and all I had to do was sign in. Room was huge, almost a suite. Everything looked new. This hotel is in a very convenient location for the SJ monument. Slept late in a very comfortable bed so missed breakfast, but the menu looked good. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

Only two complaints: 1. Hot tub did not work 2. Not a big fan of the limited breakfast Overall it was great and we will be staying again.

The property was very clean. Friendly staff. The breakfast options were very few. Could have added scrambled eggs, custom omelet, hashbrowns, etc. Also could have an alternate menu every other day. Also Struggled to get some quarters for laundry. Could install a coin dispensing machine or reloadable washer dryer card so that we don't have to get the quarters. We were happy about the availability of Yoplait and the greek yogurts. Kids loved them. Also, we liked the availability of the milk cans. Overall it was economical and had a pleasant stay.

First time staying, it was just ok. Expected better for a $118 room for one night. NO HOT BREAKFAST! Only muffins and packaged food. Front desk girl was NOT FRIENDLY and rude as well as not informing us where ANYTHING was- the pool, vending machines, ice maker, and didn’t even bother to mention the “breakfast” hours etc. They had a little room with snacks etc in it, but EVERYTHING in that room was $3 each! Literally items you can buy from the dollar store or the grocery store. There shouldn't be any “surprises”. ALL those things should be required to explain, to ALL guests, especially new ones. The rooms were clean, beds were ok, but probably won’t stay again.
