This is my third stay at the hotel. The location is excellent. The staff is great. However, the design of the hotel is showing its wear and tear. The AC system on the lobby level affecting the restaurant, coffee/coworking lounge was not working properly. This is a big problem for a place like Texas. In my room, there were so many light switches and motion sensors, that simply have stopped working, partially working, had flicker lights. This creates a stress on a traveler who is looking for simple comfort, not mood lighting with one working sink sconce. Whoever designed the electric got carried away and now the hotel is stuck with two many items that do not work. Sadly, to fix, would require a major renovation. You can see this design was done during a period where designers thought it would be cool to enter a room into the bathroom, rather than a hallway. Imagine room service being brought through a toilet area in your room. Hopefully by now the hotel and its design teams have terminated the woke DEI staff involved in those designs and have gone back to designs that have survived thousands of years.

Excellent room. Fantastic views

stayed at this hotel during a business trip, and I was impressed by the attentive service and well-maintained facilities. The fitness center and pool were great for relaxing after a long day. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere."

Phenomenal place

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The check in and check out was easy and the valet service was great. The room was bright and clean, but the shower door wasn't sealed properly so the water leaked out and drenched the bath mat. The mattresses could have been better as both of them caved in a bit- we stayed in a room with two queen beds. The location was close to cool restaurants and coffee shops. I would stay there again.

Everything was excellent can’t find one complaint

In addition, I was not pleased with the fact that I was double charged and had to deal with the headache of that. All the staff on hand were exceptional!

Although I had a high floor, there was a guest that had a dog in their room, very close to mine, and the dog was barking all night, long while the guests were out every night. In addition, I was not pleased with the fact that I was double charged and had to deal with the headache of that. All the staff on hand were exceptional!

A lot of the buttons in our suite to control the lights, curtains, etc. did not work. Staff was great. The floors in the restroom and bathroom could have been a lot more cleaner esepically considering we were in one of the most expensive suites.

Amazing
- 5/5
Hotel design was great, staff were all very friendly and helpful, the restaurant was beautiful and had great cocktails. The pool was great. Rooms were very well stocked, nice shampoo and conditioner and body products, qtips and makeup remover wipes in the room. The design of the room was great for bags and getting ready. Would 1000% be coming back to this hotel when I’m in Dallas. Also great coffee shops near by and they have a house car to bring you within a 3 mile radius of the hotel which is super conviennent if you don’t have a rental car.

Property was great. Room was really cool and comfortable. Outdoor pool and views were even better.

I think they can better on the cleaning aspect !! It’s all right but it could be better
- 5/5
The staff is amazing. From the valet, Simone, and Troy all made me feel welcomed and special! The property makes you feel that you are in Vegas. I forgot to mention when checking out that the only thing was my room’s sewer smelled strong at times. Other than that I would stay again
- 5/5
Loved the hotel. The bar and restaurant were excellent. Troy, our bartender, was super friendly, as were the other wait staff. Try the Mexican next door. Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had!
- 5/5
We had a wonderful time!! The hotel is amazing!! what’s a great places to get pictures too! The staff is very friendly
- 1/5
Horrible don’t ever stay here there’s absolutely no AC 90° weather. They only provide fans there’s no AC on the whole property and then there’s no water practice. You can’t even take a nice shower and then that stinks. The water doesn’t even go down in the drain drain that goes really, really slow and the place is disgusting. Don’t let the picture fool you

Clean room, unique design, nice view of downtown Dallas. Front desk was efficient with check in and valet was superb.
- 5/5
The rooms are spacious. We really enjoyed the coffee shop and bar downstairs. We went during Christmas and they really outdid themselves with the decor. It was perfect
- 3/5
The vibe of the hotel is great! Loved the decor and finishes. However, there were multiple things about our room that gave me the “ick” - sizeable stain and black marking on the giant lamp, several scratches on the coffee table, orange stains (bleach?) on the purple vanity chair, and white calcium build up on the red shower head. This is in addition to the bathroom light and window shade not working - but those two things were fixed as soon as we notified the front desk. Overall, the hotel just felt very unclean. The restaurant was also dirty - stains on the chair, hair in the chair, food on the ground, markings on gold pipes above bar that looked like handprints?! Finally, our drinks from the Commons Club were great, but the food was inedible. My husband got the Cuban Hash which looked like cat food or some weird meat and did not taste good. This hotel could be at the top of our list with just a little more attention to detail and cleanliness! But for the price, it was disappointing.

Also, at $360 a night (on the cheap end), the toilet seat was not in the best condition, I couldn't get the drawer safe to close unless I created a lock code for it so I hit my shin on it several times walking through, and the AC didn't work well or cool the room well. I ended up turning on a little fan I brought and putting it in the bed with me, and this was in December when I stayed. Also, if you're going to charge $17 for a plate of Parmesan truffle fries, I should probably be able to taste the actual Parmesan or truffle. The plate came and the fries weren't very hot, and there was barely anything on them.

Lovely rooms, very comfortable and spacious. The valet team were also incredibly attentive and friendly!
- 5/5
The room was great and the front staff was polite and welcoming! Wish the bar stayed open later because the bartenders were very rude when we came down stairs after our Christmas party for an after party.

The stay was wonderful but after I left one of the staff must’ve stole my bank info because they kept trying to pull over a ton of money out of my account. How I know it was scam was because I payed everything in full before AND I got back my security/damage deposit, so that’s proof I didn’t damage anything. That’s the only problem I had with this place.
- 3/5
Everything good except smell of pillows and pillows linen. To me, the smell was overpowering dirty pillows or dirty pillow linens could have been. I used towels to mask some of the smell in order to sleep. My husband wasn’t bothered by it but I was. Other than that everything else in room was good. Room in good condition
- 5/5
Room was suoer welcoming and clean! I especially loved the foyer area that allowed for privacy.for bathroom/sleeping activities!
- 4/5
Hotel was nice. Good vibe, very dark room but that goes with the ambiance of the property. Staff at checkin was nice. Went to the bar for a drink and both the restaurant and bar had an unappealing mildew smell. On top of that after about 10 minutes with no one offering to take our order we left. Rooms were fun but overall a bit pricy for the current state of the hotel.
- 5/5
Every staff member was so friendly. From check in to bartender, to wait staff, and barista. Room was clean. Bar, restaurant and coffee shop were all awesome and eclectic. Easy access to American Airlines Center. Will definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
They need better lighting. The lighting was very poor, however, the shower was the best shower I’ve ever had, but due to bad lighting. It was difficult to get ready and function properly. The lighting was shut on and shut off. It was not comfortable.

I came across The Virgin Hotel brand in May of this year, handful of stays later, it’s now become my go to get away place….hands down where I recommend staying in Dallas. The Smeg refrigerator in each room, I now have one at home. Thanks for the great hospitality Virgin Hotels!

Went to Virgin for Hubby Bday- Everyone was amazing. I loved how you could order from TV. I must say walking into a portion of the bathroom when you first walk through the door was quite strange but overall it was cool. Friday night soul music was awesome really great band. Thank you to the entire staff for being professional and providing quality customer service.
- 4/5
The hotel staff was wonderful and the room was great, but the pool was filthy—foggy, murky water with hair floating in it—so I didn’t even get in.

Hospitality was amazing. Beds were comfortable. The curtains at stains ( look like make up). But will book again in the future.
- 2/5
I was there for 1 night, expecting to enjoy the pool and relax, but it was a terrible mistake. As a guest you don't have priority or preference when it comes to use the pool, it was a pool party going on and it was packed and loud, the majority of the people who where there paid a day pass, and occupied all the sunbeds, for the cabanas you have to pay US$ 600 and rent the sunbeads US$200. The people that was there were loud and drunk, one girl vomited and passed out, and two others were crying. It was a terrible situation. I was afraid people would get violent or physical. We decided to leave. Then, at night, after having dinner, we came back to the hotel, and the bar was about to close, and I asked for a drink, and the bartender (a girl) was extremely rude and told me that they were closing, didn’t have ice, and poured me a whisky with ice in a plastic cup. Terrible experience overall, I don’t recommend this hotel at all, and will be careful because being at the pool can be dangerous
- 5/5
Location was great. They have a curtesy shuttle that will drive you within a 3-mile radius so I able to get a ride to American Airlines center and then walked back that night after a concert. I had an Expedia VIP perk of having $30 off on food but caveat being that when ordering room service, you have to pay an amenity fee which was $25 and the food was >than $30 so not sure the perk is useful when used in this way as I could get something way cheaper elsewhere. My preference is for beds and pillows to be firmer and theirs was quite soft and sunken so did not sleep well. It was quiet and the room was nice overall.
- 5/5
What had an exceptional stay! We greatly appreciated Rose and her above and beyond service!
- 5/5
Loved it
- 5/5
Amazing stay !!
- 3/5
We have stayed at The Virgin several times and it has been one of our favorite places to stay while in dallas often for work, but lately it has been disappointing. They closed and removed the hot tub which was one of our favorite amenities in the evenings and the once chic pool furniture around the rooftop pool is now dingy and stained and not inviting at all. The interior carpeting and fixtures feel worn and dull as well. Its time for a refresh to compete with the other newer or refreshed properties in the market.
- 4/5
The staff was very nice, helpful and personable. Troy the bartender was great. Great property. Enjoyed my stay. Would recommend.
- 5/5
My one night stay was delightful in every possible way. Interesting and inventive decor, super clean, very gracious and attentive staff everywhere. I would happily stay at a Virgin Hotel when the opportunity next presents itself.
- 5/5
Beautiful property, exceptionally helpful staff, It is close to downtown and freeways to allow for quick access to other beautiful areas of Dallas. Hotel lacks amenities, so make sure to purchase water and other snacks to avoid paying high prices for in room purchases.
- 4/5
cool place! amazing bed and pillows:)

Great property great staff
- 1/5
The front dear girls were good for nothing …
- 2/5
We booked hoping to spend quality time in the swimming pool. When we got there, there were maybe 200 people all vying for incredibly small space within the small pool - many of whom had day passes and were not guests of the hotel. As a paying guest in the hotel, this was quite discouraging and disappointing. We did not end up celebrating my wife's 50th birthday with time in the pool as a result.
- 5/5
The room was AMAZING!!! We booked a suite for a special occasion and it far exceeded our expectations. The staff was amazing, Valet was so easy and the amenities (pool, gym, restaurant, pool bar) were unmatched. This hotel was a true vacation.
- 5/5
This hotel exceeded expectations. The staff are the true stars here. The rooms were clean and I love the whole vibe of this hotel. I really wish it was Adults Only because we did have issues with kids on a team causing disturbances in the pool but that was quickly handled. The valet are AMAZING and the free driver service was so helpful as all of our plans were within range and saved us on ubers. This hotel even has a free happy hour which was perfect before heading out. Definitely plan to stay here again!
- 3/5
The only disappointment is the food, which is decent but not nearly worth the price. There’s not a great variety in the menu, so it got boring eating there after more than one or two meals. And we were shocked at the end with our bill, because we really did not realize we had spent that much… Especially since we don’t drink alcohol. Also, it’s worth noting that they charge you like a $50 resort fee when you arrive, which was not included in the hotels.com Booking.
- 5/5
Great hotel. The staff is friendly and super helpful. Im definitely returning
- 4/5
Did not like the very dark elevators.
- 5/5
This cute hotel is everything and more. The hotel itself is really pretty and well maintained. The location is nice, not run down. The amenities are lovely. From the pool, they gym, the library, the coffee shop, and the on site restaurant they are a solid 10. The staff are ALL very nice, friendly, and welcoming. I will definitely recommend the Virgin Hotel to family and friends.
- 5/5
beautiful property, nice touches in the room
- 5/5
I love this hotel, for the price point it’s really a great place and the vibe is very hip with a great staff and comfortable room
- 3/5
Overall, it’s a really nice property, but a dog barked most of the night I was there and it was difficult to sleep. It seemed like a dog from an apartment across the street, not inside the hotel. The shower head was broken, the tv remote didn’t work right, and the light switches were pretty hard to figure out. I expected more the high cost of a room.
- 4/5
The hotel is very nice. Staff is wonderful. Only complaint would be the pool. They open it to the public. I wish they would have stated that on the website. We wanted to sit in the nice lounge chairs relax and let the kids swim. That is not possible there. By the time we checked in at 3:00 all of the lounge chairs were taken and the pool was full of 30 something young adults standing in the water drinking. Was not the relaxing atmosphere we were hoping for.
- 5/5
Had great staff and the room was very nice.
- 4.5/5
The personal is very nice The breakfast is so expensive
- 5/5
Wonderful service and great space. Would 100% stay here again!
- 5/5
The creature comforts. Soft robes you actually wanna wear. Gavin was out of this world with his southern hospitality. Troy in the bar was absolutely perfect. I would come to Dallas to stay at the Hotel and just hang with the absolutely wonderful people who work there. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
It was a great stay! We loved everything except the light switches LOL they just need regular light switches! Enough with the energy savings as we like a light on the bathroom all night!
- 5/5
Great hotel. Enjoyed the stay and decor of entire hotel. Very friendly staff.
- 5/5
We loved this hotel! Super staff, responded so quick to every request. We will stay again!

- 4/5
Very nice hotel for a fun weekend getaway
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, very kind staff and comfortable beds. The only negative thing I could say about my stay is that we didn’t stay here long enough!
- 5/5
A dj was playing hard music that ended up in our room. And the pool was so filthy thar you cant see the bottom.
- 3/5
As a courtesy they could have not charged customers who stayed during the days we stayed.
- 5/5
Very clean and welcoming! The whole staff was amazing!!! Michael the manager and front desk crew were quite hospitable. -Robert I have nothing negative to say!
- 5/5
The rooms were uniquely designed, and the bed was SO comfortable. The staff was friendly and engaging, and the property was lovely. We will stay there again.
- 5/5
Had a great time at this hotel.
- 5/5
Parking was outrageous but such a good stay!
- 3.5/5
Design was great and rooms were spacious Great location to walk to music venue and lots of restaurants near by Pool was dirty and crowded with people not staying at the hotel. There are chairs for guests but they are first come first serve and incredibly limited. Have to pay +$100 for a day bed just to have a chair at the pool and when we arrived there were people in our seats so the chairs and towels were wet. They sell day passes to non hotel guests which makes the experience less than ideal especially considering what you pay to stay at the hotel. Total Cash grab with over priced drinks and a sub par experience which could be improved by selling less day passes
- 5/5
Me and my husband stayed here for my birthday. It was amazing. Service was phenomenal everywhere in the entire hotel from the people that come to clean your rooms to the manager that check us in the bartender in the morning the fact that they have live music, food, and drinks for phenomenal Best birthday.
- 4.5/5
Love the interior design concept in the whole building, and the comfort, cleanliness in the room. Opening the pool to anyone who pays for a day pass could make it feel overcrowded for guests who want to relax.
- 5/5
This is an incredible hotel. The staff was very friendly, and room (chamber) was clean and large. The coffee shop had great choices. The books in the "Library" were fun to look at. I will pick this hotel again.
- 4/5
I am 63 years old and unfortunately just not the vibe I want. I stayed because it was a crossed the street from my daughter's apartment. The staff was great EXCEPT for the pool staff. I booked a cabana for $500 for 3 hours with a $97 mandatory tip but our cabana wait staff individual was NOT good at all. The only part that was great was the hotel bar. The front deck staff was great when the air conditioner in my room broke. Gave me no issue switching rooms. The rooms are confusing and the hotel SHOULD give you instructions when checking in on how to operator the lights in the room.
- 5/5
Clean place the stuff is very helpful and nice
- 4/5
The virgin hotel is one of our favorites and we have stayed at every location so far. And everytime we come to dallas we try to spend a few night at the Virgin. However this time it seems the up keep of the hotel is not that great. Right now its not the worse but if the upkeep continues at the rate it is now i can see this hotel no longer being 5 star and this location not being a favorite. The outside furniture was not clean, its summer time and hot outside so that should have been a priority to clean and dust off the out door furniture. 2. The hotel smelled like spoiled water, as if they had a bad sewer problem.3. Our bedding had old blood stains on it and this is all an issue especially since we paid 1,000+ for our stay. The room tv would connect to bluetooth and when it did the tv would shut off. However the staff were very friendly and professional.
- 3/5
Hotel needs basic maintenance. Walls near elevator bank are very dirty. Bottom of room door was chipped. Obvious that care is not being taken to maintain hotel common areas. Probably will not be back.
- 5/5
Excellent guest services and hospitality of staff - loved it! Worth every penny!
- 3/5
Service was horrible
- 4/5
Beware the $65 parking and never received an itemized bill, but otherwise a great hotel. Pool was insanely crowded due to it’s small size.
- 4/5
Good place, great location but need to improve your cleaning process, overall the bed sheets were uncomfortably smelly and the rug was dirty. The hotel may need some deep maintenance and update some old and dirty furniture and carpets.
- 5/5
The property and staff exceeded our expectations. Incredibly beautiful room, so peaceful, beautiful view. 10 out of 10!
- 5/5
Bartender Troy… was very welcoming.
- 4/5
It’s literally the most modern hotel in the area with modern amenities very much in the Virgin style. It’s starting to show its age with some of the outdoor spaces. It does attract a louder crowd, and while wireless Lutron light switches are a smart “future proof,” touch, it doesn’t respond obviously nor does it work sometimes.
- 5/5
Great experience all around.
- 5/5
I love this hotel, very clean very convenient. Easy to get everywhere. I love it.
- 5/5
The staff was really nice. I love that they arent the typical hotel and have an eclectic mix of staff. We cruise with Virgin all the time and the hotel did not didsappoint ! The only thing that I would complain about is the parking but we knew it was paid parking before we came.
- 5/5
This hotel was fabulous! The customer service from all staff was outstanding. They have live music and a DJ on the weekends. The room was spacious and beautiful. The restaurant had great food options with amazing drinks. They have a complimentary town car you can take if you’re within 6 miles. I highly recommend this property.
- 4/5
Cool hotel, convenient location. Decor is a little crazy for my taste.
- 5/5

Awesome time! We book again
- 2/5
The room we checked in to had a terrible smell coming from the shower. We asked to switch rooms and the front desk gave us new keys, much to our horror, that were to a room that was already occupied. We then had to go back down to the front desk. They wanted to put us in a smaller room with a king rather than two queens (what we paid for) and finally decided they would have us use an empty room to shower while they freshened up our room. So we had to yet again take all of our things up to now a third room, and then has to wait 3 hours for them to freshen up our original room. Management didn’t care or offer a single condolence. It was a truly horrendous experience, especially given the fact that the Virgin boasts its “luxury boutique experience”. It was more like a holiday inn experience.
- 3/5
Location really wasnt great

Love this hotel
- 2/5
Sad. Toilet in our room did not work properly. Stuff seemed very used and run down in places. The pool that said was heated was cold and dirty.

Our room was great, the city view was amazing, the staff was friendly and very helpful. Will definitely stay again.

- 5/5
Amazing staff and great hotel in general!
- 4/5
Hotel was clean and super stylish. Friendly staff, and we enjoyed using the House car which is a great perk. Great location. Pool needed some cleaning though.
- 5/5
Great hotel in a quiet and beautiful neighbourhood.
- 4.5/5
Stayed at Virgin Hotel Dallas and was impressed with the modern, thoughtful design throughout—both inside and out. The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet given the location. Great city views and a solid location overall. The furniture by the pool could use a refresh, but it didn’t take away from the experience. All in all, an above-average stay that I’d recommend. Furniture on the pool floor looked worn.
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel! Troy, Palmer & Jesse at the Commons Club were so nice and welcoming. Valet stand Rob, Evan, Tanner and Dalton always take care of me and even made a special thank you for our anniversary!

Hotel stay was excellent! Everything with well done and clean. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious. Somethings to note, they do charge you $130 at check-in. $30 of which is considered a resort fee.

Recently stayed at the Virgin Dallas for a business trip and from the doormen, to the front desk staff, the hostesses at the restaurant and the cleaning staff. Everyone was fantastic. Location is great. And loved having a car ready for a quick trip around the area.

Not worth the price. From the service, to the room cleanliness and functionality. Outlets were broken, room keys were randomly deactivated. Supposedly booked a VIP treatment and received a room on a low floor with a beaming light into the window. Far better hotel options in Dallas for the price/night. Bartenders and some front desk agents were very kind. But overall just don’t book unless you want to be disappointed for the price you pay each night. Valet price per night is also insane.

First the amount of fees and charges at this place are ridiculous. The amount you pay for room rates and then all the fees are just far exceed the condition that of the hotel and the nuisance. Third (Issues 🚨‼️) First off we arrived at our check in time of 3pm. We had a grand room on the 15th floor. We didn’t get to our room til 4:30 and only because I was visibly and vocally getting upset. I am a 100 disabled veteran with a constant pain level of 6. All I wanted to do was go to my room after a long drive. The rooms are very pricey so I shouldn’t have to wait over an hour for a room i paid for days in advance. Also the room next to us was having a party. Normally I don’t care. But once 12am hits and all I hear is banging, yelling, music and woman's heels chopping the floor like skates in roll bounce I have an issue. Luckily the staff was very responsive and handle and resolved the issue very quickly. Second (The Room 😑) So i will say i loved the space and setup of the room. The view was very nice as well. But the quality was not what I was expecting for an almost $500 a night room. There were stains on the couch and chairs, as well as the upholstery of the bed. The soaking tub literally took almost 15-20mins to fill because the flow was so slow. NO FRIDGE SPACE! All the snacks and drinks in room are 3-4x the actual price in stores. All in all, not a bad hotel, but not a good one either. About a 6/10 would not return.

The check in/out staff were friendly and welcoming as well as the valet staff.! The hotel was amazing and the customer service was everything.! Ate breakfast at the common club downstairs as well as got coffee from the little library.! Everything was exceptional.!!! Definitely will be back and will book again.!

This is our 2nd time staying at a Virgin hotel. Customer service is always top notch. I love the Funny Library and overall vibe. The layout of the dressing room/bathroom is genius. I wish it was like this at all hotels. The reason for a 4-star review this time and not 5 is because when we arrived, the comforter that is covered by sheets was filthy. I get that comforters are likely not changed for every stay, and I will definitely overlook some minor stuff, but this one was absolutely disgusting. I called the front desk and housekeeping came to change it within 15 minutes. A couple of things I wish they would change, but these are minor…larger/softer bath towels. Lose the motion sensing lights in the closets. It’s annoying to have them turn on accidentally in the middle of the night. Lower the valet fee. $62 is ridiculous. I will absolutely stay at a Virgin Hotel again. These are just areas that could be improved upon.

Room was the only good thing about this visit. We love the the room and views but the service there just isn't it. Honestly the hotel staff is good but
