A beautiful gem!!!

The rooms were super. The grounds amazing. Quiet...so quiet. The onsite facticity that they refer guests for food and drink was closed both days of our stay and the day we arrived very limited hours. This was a huge bummer. Not even just coffee, tea, doughnut, etc. I believe that a coffee bar in the lobby with good coffee, creamers/milks, hot water, apples, would go a long way to have services match the campus and rooms. Something more than what they have now. But don't make it a token effort as that will not be well received by the coffee snobbies of the world.

The bed was excellent and the bedding. The room was spacious, clean, and relaxing with a view of the lovely grounds. I would have dearly loved some coffee in the morning in the lobby in spite of it being Sunday.

One of the nicest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. My only complaint was that at night, it was very hard to find. I checked in late and I needed to call the desk in order to get directions.

Cooper is a hidden gem in north dallas. Peaceful setting, wandering ducks, ponds and fountains. Really lovely.

The front desk agent definitely gave rude racist vibes. I called before arriving a day in advance and let them know i was bringing my esa and she told me to bring my documentation to show forth at the front desk. Upon arriving i let the staff know my dog was an esa and I have documentation. Gabbie or Abbie whichever which had said “well what is she trained to do”….?? She then said that I wouldn’t be able to bring my son and very small dog inside to which she’s here for my support going through grief from my late mother. To which then she makes us entirely late to my son’s birthday because of the information she had said but changed up once we arrived. I had to book elsewhere at AC hotel at the galleria in the area thankfully was an amazing stay but I will never forget the horrendous experience I had with the staff at Cooper hotel and I will make sure that I do not advise anyone to stay here as it was a pick and choose situation. Also I had paid my entire stay in advance to ensure my stay and now I’m needing a refund still but will have to speak with the manager on Monday morning. Everything - she (Abbie)made me feel horrible how she treated me

Large bedroom/ suite Major flood outside our room. Fire alarm went off at 7:30 am! When we called front desk no answer. Had to remove our belongings from our room and step through water to get outside. Ceiling collapsed in the hallway. No emergency instructions offered by the staff. We sat in a StArbucks for hours. Later offered another room in the afternoon.

The fitness facilities is exceptional, the hotel is not. And also not easy to find also no coffee convenient to the hotel rooms and the restaurant is small with limited availability and a small menu.

I liked this hotel a lot. The room was spacious and very comfortable. They put in a lot of fixtures to make the space warm for rest. The pool was also nice for lap swimming (the main reason why I chose this hotel). The night staff that was there when I checked in close to midnight wasn’t the best. He just handed me the key without explaining where I needed to go (a different building from check in), amenities etc. I had to ask and I felt like I was bothering him. He was my only complaint though so I’d stay here again (hopefully not when he’s present).

The location was excellent. It was peaceful, quiet and overall had a warm and safe feeling to the area. There were people jogging, a pond with wildlife and a big nice heated pool. We loved how the room felt like you were in a home and not in a hotel. Absolutely nothing to dislike.

The fragrance in the lobby is overpowering and it smells like it’s covering the smell of urine. Everything else is great but every time I stay there, my whole family says that it smells like a fragrance covering urine. It’s just way way way too strong.

I found this property by chance when I could not get into the hotel where I was going for a conference. This is an amazing hotel with wonderful comfortable rooms and a quiet atmosphere. I definitely want to go back for a long weekend.

We love the peace, cleanliness and walking trail at the Cooper. The staff are very nice and accommodating. Our room is always so clean. Love the towels and sheets. I do wish the carpet would get an update. It would definitely update the rooms.

Overall good, other than that the parking was limited for half our stay during some event, causing us to park in very narrow parking spaces.

This was our 5th stay and our least enjoyed, very disappointing. Our room was extremely loud, as we approached our room we could hear the people in the room next to us. Upon entering the room I could hear people talking through the vent in our bathroom. The A/C was so loud that even with ear plugs it woke us up every time it turned on. The tub was very slippery when showering and should have a rough bottom as we were both concerned we would slip. The shower was less than invigorating as the pressure wasn't very strong. Usually the bed is very comfortable but this one wasn't. It almost felt like it was on a slope. There obviously needs to be a major update as the room was tired and very old/worn with a lot of spots/stains on the carpet.

No coffee other than instant in the rooms and tea. It was an expensive Uber to get there from the airport and back. There was not much available if you don’t have a car either. The suite was spacious and comfortable to sleep but few of the other hospitality items usually available at a hotel and or spa. The sound also carried so any knocking or talking next door was clearly audible in the room.

Did not know this place offered rooms for rent but it was a pleasant surprise! I wish it were cooler outside so we could walk on the walking track. It is a beautiful facility and the room was nice.

The front desk lady was very cordial(I did not get the name); unfortunately the room was dusty and there were some small iron(?) pieces close to the window and in the window sill like it has not been vacuumed in a while

The room is impeccable and the bed and bedding are wonderful and luxurious. My only issue with the room was the TV. The remote and the TV didn’t communicate between the 2 properly and when I wanted to cast movies from my phone to the TV screen, the system which is supposedly specifically designed for this, didn’t work at all? I even tried using an alternative which I travel with which is my ROKU. But this requires switching the TV to a different input. And I was able to accomplish the change of input yet the TV has some program within itself, even after I disconnected the cable coming into the TV from the hotels systems, the lower half of the TV screen has a pre-programmed image which comes up over the Roku’s image so using a ROKU wasn’t an option either. I requested maintenance to come evaluate the issue(s). They were stumped and said they would talk with their newer IT people who were in charge of the TV systems and IT and that the hotel was going through hardware changes to their IT systems. Apparently, the work hadn’t been completed or if so, it wasn’t done properly? Either way, I had to settle for what they had available through their limited systems and deal with the slow reacting remote. A small price to pay for the wonderful room experience and the impeccable level of cleanliness. The outdoor pool was very nice but the entire pool was always mapped out in swim lanes for those wanting to swim laps. No area to just simply enjoy being in the pool. Shortage of lanes?

Our go to place to stay when coming to Dallas. So quiet and the rooms are fabulous. Nice to be able to workout in the Cooper facility or walk on the track. 10 minutes to downtown via toll road or 5 minutes to Galleria.

My husband and I stayed two nights when I was in town for a medical procedure. Clean, safe, easy parking, extremely comfortable bed with top notch bedding. Room was quiet and I LOVED how hot the water got in the shower. So many times you are forced to take Luke warm showers but not here.

Beautiful area extremely busy they have a fitness facility and some other stuff in the area. They brag about a large property but really it’s mostly just a fitness center so you’re going to stay at a hotel next to Anytime fitness basically Very nice hotel, super old, but pretty clean for a hotel our room the tub did not drain and the balcony door did not sell up very well beautiful hotel though definitely recommend staying do not be fooled by their pictures. It’s basically a nice hotel next to a giant gym that’s going to be very very busy. You won’t be able to use any of the facilities or the pool. It’s extremely busy.

Bath room shower needs cleaning of mold

Liked thr property for all the amenties but a little disappointed with the state of the swimming pool. Needs resurfacing for sure

I left a key with clear I instructions of whom was going to pick it up and he had trouble getting it; he does not speak English but it was very important for him to get the key; he was told there was nothing with his name; he was already going back to his car and somebody approached him and asked the name; then, he was given the key. Expect more from you guys!

It’s an amazing quiet property very beautiful and lots of areas to walk amongst the property

This hotel is quaint. The grounds are nice and, while we first were happy to see a family of geese, we quickly realized the nuance of parking lots and walkways being covered in goose feces. The rooms and facilities are quite dated and the space feels like an eerie assisted-living facility.

The Cooper Hotel’s beautiful grounds and state-of-the-art fitness center made our quick weekend trip feel like a luxury vacation!

We enjoyed our stay. It was serene amongst all the trees. The pool is amazing. All was calm and very clean.

The grounds of the Cooper center are really lovely and they have a great walking/jogging path. Guests of the hotel may use that workout facilities and there is an on-site spa although we did not take advantage of the ladder.

No room service & you need car or Uber to get anywhere

I loved the gym and the outdoor track. I loved the room and the cleaning staff. Everyone was friendly and smiled. The restaurant did not have healthy options, just sugary and salty processed foods. I’m allergic to onions and requested no onions but got them anyway, so I didn’t eat all my lunch except what I could pick out of the bowl. The TV remote did not work so I wasn’t able to watch TV. We even changed the batteries in the remote but that didn’t fix it. The man at desk said it wasn’t his job, but maintenance handles the TV. The iron was tethered to the ironing board and I burned my arm when it pulled back to the iron holder.

Fitness area, gym and spa a plus. It is located in a great area of Dallas.My only suggestion is to update the pool. The rooms large and comfortable.

I really enjoyed my stay here and would absolutely come back for a longer stay to enjoy the amenities. My only complaint was that the hotel check in area was difficult to find on the compound property.

Nice grounds and the fitness facility is really nice. Guest room is large, but the door lacks any protection to keep hallway noise from pouring into the room. The bathroom of our room needed attention as the panel above the shower for the access to the second floor was stained and had rusted screws. The showerhead needs replacing. Mini refrigerator is a nice amenity, but it is loud.

Wonderful and quiet! A hidden gem centrally located in Dallas.

This is the third time my wife and I have stayed at this hotel. Each time has been excellent, from easy check-in (know your car's license plate number), to peaceful surroundings, clean rooms and attentive staff. We will be back!

Stayed here for a work trip and picked this hotel mainly because it provides access to their fitness center which did not disappoint. Properly itself is nice and quiet. The room felt outdated but I think that’s the vibe of the hotel, traditional style. The bed frame though was wood and it was cracking on the floor, there were noticeable big chunks of wood peeling off which did not give the best impression. Unsure if I’d stay here again.

Wonderful complex with lots to do. Pretty trees and walking trails and was nice to sit by the pool or walk to the Cafe for a bite to eat.

however, the condition of the sidewalk was very uneven in between the pool and building #2. my wife, who uses a walker, had somewhat of a tough time navigating the slabs of concrete, which are being pushed up by the roots of the large tree next to it. also, the checkout procedure was fast but had flaws. i had asked for a receipt printout and the young man scoffed and said that whomever checked us in should've informed us that the system was down, instead of taking some initiative to follow up with a forwarded receipt via email. although he said it with a smile, it seemed like he didn't want to help at all and it wasn't his problem.

The Cooper Hotel is quiet, well appointed and very comfortable. My college roommate and I went for a reunion and had a lovely time.

The property around the hotel is beautiful. However, the lobby, rooms, and service were lacking. The lobby had a musty/grandmas house smell. The guy behind the front desk checking me in was less than friendly. When I entered my room, I went to open the curtains and found huge spiderwebs/cobwebs on multiple windows (inside the room) with bugs. I called guest services and they moved me into another room with the exact same issue. I asked if there were any other options and the front desk said no, I would have to stay in one of the rooms, and they would send housekeeping out the next day to clean (I was only staying one night so that wasnt helpful). Customer service is clearly not a priority. The walking path and gym are fantastic perks though.

Great experience. We were upgraded to a suite. The property was very clean. It does not have the most up to date decor if that matters to you. For example the fixtures in the bathroom were brass and white.

Room could use some upkeep. Lamp was damaged, scratches on furniture. Cold water was hard to turn off, water dispenser leaked.
