The pillows The building is falling apart and the roaches in the room, the shower was nasty, the floors get super wet from moisture. The pool had mold on the walls.

Location The top blankets were not clean, it smelled dirty. I didnt use it.

The Wi-Fi did not work, and when we contacted management for assistance, we were told someone would come help us. No one ever showed up. To make matters worse, the air conditioning unit was leaking and left water all over the floor. The lack of communication, poor maintenance, and failure to address issues in a timely manner made for a very frustrating stay. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below expectations, and I would not recommend this hotel based on our visit.

Clean room, A/C crisp, my room had a microwave and fridge (fridge could be colder tbh) and good parking depending on what time you arrive.

Hotel was super cheap compared to others around. Hot water was amazing. Surprised they still offer smoking rooms. Plus it was right next to Whataburger. Location was hard to get to from the opposite side of the highway. Bed was definitely old and the towels and sheets were “stiff”.

Parking was ok not great. AC was great!!

There were several bugs within our room. One was under the covers. The “clean” towels had shaved hair on them. One of the towels had a shoe print on it. The floors looked like they were mopped with muddy water. Would not stay here again.

It was near all shopping centers and restaurants . Good hot water and a lot of tv channels. Requested a microwave and a refrigerator, and one was delivered, a few hours later. When I first entered the room there was no refrigerator or microwave oven, floor , ceiling, shower all are deteriorated, ceiling almost looks like it might fall on top of you , the floor appears to have some type of water leak under it in the sink area and near shower. Shower has chips in the tub. But floor feels wet.

So terrible i didnt even stay - paid for 2 rooms, person who had second room didnt have his drivers license and the desk clerk was so rude and unhelpful. Clerk also told the gentleman who checked in before me that check in was 3 pm but they dont guarantee your room will be ready you have to wait. She said they didnt have any clean sheets or towels so he would have to wait until they finished the room to check in. After hearing that and the horrific attitude i was given we left and booked at the red roof inn up the road. Everything there went smooth and we had a nice stay with them. I know, you get what you pay for but red roof inn was the same price and much better experience.

That the establishment has an elevator. The tub floor was slippery/ dirty. Had to put a towel in the bottom of the tub. Bar soap residue was left from not being completely cleaned. The mattress needs to be updated. Pillow cases were dirty/ stained.

hotel was a complete nightmare I woke up with several bed bug bites all over my body I had to go to the emergency room due to reactions and swelling on every extremity of my body costing me 370 dollars. I returned the following day to be told the manager would be in at 20m and to come back then. I had to go back to the emergency room later that day and just now being released. I suggest to anyone even considering staying at this place to not chance it. I regret it and I will be contacting my attorney to have my expenses paid and this issue be handled appropriately and with certainty. I was talked into staying here on short notice and will never sacrifice my level of standards. This hotel is acting in a negligent manner as I found out by other hotel guests I met today the issue has been reported over and over and the staff simply ignore it to make a quick buck and in Texas that is illegal and the hotel is therefore held liable for everything. I documented and photographed as well as took statements to ensure this comes to a stop. I will be returning and I will be seeking compensation for having to babysit and correct this issue making myself the victim. You got the right one this time Red Roof Inn and I look forward to destroying your malicious behavior in court. I sure hope you saved those quick bucks because I crush embarrassments like you weekly in my line of work. I'd start praying if I were you. -Room 208 May 4, 2026

the smoking room didn't smell as bad, as most !! Did notice amt of people partying/hanging around outside, in parking lot...& later could hear someone hanging out near room...then knocked on our door, acouple times overnite, which had our lil dog barking too Ugh !!

Air conditioner did not keep room cool at night. My bed was horrible and blanket had stains all over both beds. Toilet would not even flush properly Friday night and then Saturday would not flush at all in the morning or that night. Would not recommend staying there

Best place I’ve ever stayed

I requested a crib, even called 2 hours prior to arrival & was told they have one. Got there, & the man said they didn’t have one available, it was being used. Got to the room & the keys didn’t work. Went back downstairs to get them rekeyed & when the door opened, it was an OCCUPIED ROOM! Went back down & told the same man & he gave us another room. Got to that room, no fridge or microwave. I had breastmilk. Went back downstairs to ask. No fridge available but said he could have one in the morning. I asked what time, he said maintenance guy arrives around 10am so probably 11-12ish. I also asked about a freezer to store my breastmilk in because it has to stay frozen. He stated there was no freezer (not even an employee one). He gave us an extra ice bucket to “help.” Around 1pm the next day, I asked the lady at the front desk when the fridge was coming to our room. She called the man who told us about it (who was cleaning rooms that day???) he lied and said he never told us 11-12. I asked if one was available or not. She asked him on the phone & he said one “just became available but it needed to be cleaned.” At this same time, my boyfriend saw the man on the elevator & asked. He said he was going to get it right then. Not even 5 minutes later, there was a fridge in our room, but all of my breastmilk ruined. A freezer needs to be available! Oh, and there were bugs - one in the bed & one in the bathtub. And stuff got stolen out of the bed of our truck and other people’s trucks.

Desk was nice I wasn’t charged like other hotels for fees just gave me the keys after confirming reservation. Which was a plus. Room was damp but the bed was ok. Shower was great and iron/other appliances worked well. Good price for stay.

My daughter and I didn't feel secure at this place since the minute we drove up to the property. The area was sketchy and sus folks out in the parking lot late at night. The room was dirty and not cleaned thoroughly. Sheets were stained, pillowcases were yellowish (slept on 1 side of the bed), the mirror had smudges, and there was a water leak in the bathroom. The office chair was old and damaged. Also, saw a roach crawl under the bed. I could go on and on about our room. It simply felt dirty, and we didn't trust putting our luggage or belongings on the floor. We made sure to put all our belongings on the table. And not to mention, there was a shooting in the wee morning (the day of our checkout) at the property. We checked out as soon as the sun came out.

The property its ok the gest they have are not family friendly its hard to have kids in the pool when everyone around it its smoking mariguana or doimg other kind of drugs literally its like a trailer park in there but dont get me wrong hotel its ok its rhe people staying there

We did not feel very safe being at this Red Roof Inn, there was loud music being played when we arrived and ended up calling the front desk to report it because it was after 11:00 PM and the music was still playing loud, the front desk said they would talk to them up it didn't quiet, there were people running up and down the walkway. Noise all throughout the night. It was the most terrible stay we have had in Corpus Christi that we ever had. We ended up checking out early need to speak to an Expedia Representative for a refund.

I decided to give it a go, thinking that it couldn’t be me, it’s not that bad as they say. IT 100% IS that bad. The sheets were stained, sandy and strands of hair. The floor was disgusting, accidentally dropped water on the floor, used a towel to clean it up and the towel was black! My son’s feet were black. Those floors have not seen a mop in I don’t know how long. Carpet was equally questionable. There was a roach (marijuana rolled) on the bathroom floor. The smell was disgusting. It smelled like cigars/cigarets when the room was non smoking. Husband is asthmatic and was coughing up a storm during our single night (thank god) stay. The TV decided to stop working after we left the room for awhile. Homeless/sketchy people around on the property. Feeling sure this place is used as a halfway house. The only good thing I say was the desk staff was friendly at check in. -10/10 still overall. It’s cheap, you get what you pay for. But please read the reviews before thinking of staying here.

There were places in the bathroom where you could see mold. Went to the office and young girl just said (well I don’t know) that’s it!! Smell was so bad and apparently they have monthly tenants because they were lots of them hanging out in the parking lot. The next day the night manager was very nice and moved us to another room even though the young girl told her there were no rooms available. Horrible experience and I will never believe your comments about how nice this slum hotel is!!! We don’t complain and we try to adjust to whatever we encounter but this was an experience that I don’t wish anyone else to go through. Dirty dirty dirty

The floor was sticky, we wore socks to bed too, it was pretty bad. The toilet would stick and make noise, had to jiggle the handle to fix it. Really poor, I guess thats 50 dollars these days.

DONT COME HERE!!! Beds were stayed with blood and it was feasted with ROACHES!!! I had to cancel the same night and find somewhere else to go! The receptionist was sweet but the building was awful!! This hotel was not the best. The shower curtain had mold on it, the bed had blood stains on it, there was German roaches, and the room was bowing in the middle. The dresser they had in there would not stay closed, we will never stay here again!

People can dog all they want it was clean and affordable and good location. The shower head no joke was the best! Lol it felt like a blaster on you and felt so good. Comfy beds and allowed pets. We’d stay again for sure! Was a last minute 4th of July weekend so to get a hotel was amazing and this one may look on the outside not so great but inside it does the job!

STAINS on the beds, had to ask for extra sheets and they still had stains. A bleach bottle isn’t very expensive to invest in cleaning the bedding of the rooms. The receptionist was nice. I’d recommend bringing lysol if you plan to stay here so you can disinfect the bed and pillow cases

The floor had stains , and once i when into the shower , i noticed hair in the tub . The structure had cracks and dents almost everywhere. The corners of and adges of the room has alot of dirt , and the vents. My sinuses when crazy . I will not be staying here anymore.

The beds are indenting. They’re completely worn out. I had two doubles and couldn’t sleep on either one of them because I can feel the spring. The second I laid down there was a alive roach in my toilet as well as four more in the living room under the desk on the wall, somebody had spilled something all over it Same on the doors and the door jam was falling apart, but I was so tired because my husband has been in the hospital, I had to go to sleep awful experience. The lady at the front that checked me in was fantastic and quick.

This was second (and perhaps last) stay at any red roof inn property. I am not going to book any red roof inn property if I have alternate choice because lack of cleanliness and kind of patrons. bed & sheets were soiled. bed was OK. floor carpet was stinky. Chair was torn.

Room smelled like smoke even though we requested non-smoking. Bed spread was stained. Felt unsafe.

The staff was good, very friendly and helpful. The room had a pool chair at the desk and the blanket had oil stains on it. Even though the staff fixed it, it’s something that should have not happened. The shower head was broken and water got all over the floor. Over all I got what I paid for.

A couple walked in to our room after we Checked in saying that they had the same room key as us. It was very scary. They went to the front desk and we didn’t see them again but I was with my family and my two girls were very scared.

Nice room besides the cockroaches that were found in the room

The bathtub had cracks and what looked like rust. Bottom of tub needed some deep cleaning. When we walked in room smelled like cigarette smoke. Good thing i brought my lysol. No fridge, no microwave, no nothing. Pool closed early. Didn't get to use it. Wont be coming here again.

Shower was hot. Front desk was friendly. The rooms smell like cigarettes. Even the non-smoking rooms, but the worst part was the German cockroaches. We saw at least 6 in our room.

Not worth saving the extra money. Booked 3 nights, cancelled and left after 1. Room was disgusting, every surface was filthy, floor was greasy, sheets and towels stained, and guaranteed to have bedbugs (found the next morning). DO NOT STAY HERE.

Clean room with fast check in and friendly staff .. quite parking lot wifh nice open pool area for guest…. Would recommend.

Although close to the beach, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, had coffee in the room but no coffee maker. The pool was over ran with ppl all day. If your bring a dog there is no grass on property. We will pass this Motel moving forward.

Bedding had stains, but we got new ones according to the clerk.

It was nice walking into the room where they actually had the ac on and it wasnt strifling hot inside the room. The room was equipped with a nice size television, toiletries, and such. We stayed in a king accessible room and it was pleasant. Only real downside to this stay was the bed. It was not very comfortable and the pillows were so thin that it hardly felt like having a pillow at all. The price we paid was fair considering it was Memorial Day weekend and all the other hotels/motels jacked their prices up.

It was easy to access

The property was run down. Exterior needs paint. Interior, shower was dingy looking but clean and desperately needs a new mattress as each spring can be felt. The worst part by far was the lack of keeping the rif-raf out of the property, there was screaming fights all night long with stomping and slamming doors.

Font Desk was friendly, however could not locate my reservation at first. Finally found it. Part of the problem is not the fault of the inn, rather the surrounding population. Screaming from next room, people half-naked drying their clothes on the rails outside, a dude with some degree of mental illness standing outside his room screaming and hitting himself in the face, pretty sure a car was stolen the morning we left. Room was gross. Blood stains on the sheets, shower was disgusting, which was not a problem because the shower had no running water. Requested a non-smoking room, and this room must have been designated as such the day before we got there as it smelled like a wet cigarette. Needless to say we checked out a day early, but they refunded my second day which was nice.

The property was older and somewhat unkept. Sketchy people all around the property. Average cleanliness and the tub was dirty. The beds are old spring mattresses that are way past their prime. That was the worst nights sleep i have had at a motel. I can not stress the old worn in matresses enough. That was awful.

Housekeeping personnel did not clean my room for 3 days; told the manager. Saw roaches in room; told the manager; someone came and sprayed the room. No hot water the first night; had to take a cold shower. Very noisy; heard people arguing in the hallway. Hotel area outside (hallways) were very dirty. Horrible experience!

Not so good fits as description of the condition of this facility. Bedspreads have suspiciuos stains, a cigarette burn, and the mattresses should have long ago been replace. It is obvious they are breaking down inside. In a smoking room I expect some smell but this room was more than a little musty but I was too tired to ask for a refund and then have to another room. I now wish I had taken photos to share.

No security and not clean and lastly the clerk was not interested in ensuring customer satisfaction. Will not stay there again!

They leave me alone I get what I pay for it. It’s nice and simple.

This hotel needs a good cleaning. I saw a roach on the wall and the baseboards were dirty. The bathrooms need updating. Pool and hot tub were cold and I was told the boiler is broken. Mattresses were worn out. I recommend paying more elsewhere.

Air condition did not work in my room alot of drug dealers outside loud reckless people. Alot of cockroaches in the room. This will be my last time staying here. Use to be my go to now it is so bad

Great location. Lots of shopping and food options close by. Loved how many animals were on the property clearly a big reason for choosing this place for many people. Grateful to have our dog with us the whole trip.

Room had roaches, ugly stain on the wall in restroom, purple stains on bedsheets, AC did not work room was hot, drug dealers and prostitution on second floor, cops every night. Worse stay I’ve had and I’ve stayed here multiple times. Rude housekeeping, didn’t clean the room during my week stay. Just horrible
