    Stayed one night , the rooms curtains were terrible, if you close them it covered the ac vents, the shower was not great either the water was extremely hot hot with very little cold water, lastly the room was missing a TV and when reported to staff they didn’t know about it ,, won’t be staying there again in the future ,

    The hotel stay honestly was a great stay everthing was clean the check-in staff was awesome she was very nice and the room we stayed in was clean and the bed was very comfortable we stayed just over night but definitely would come here again they do need to replace some thinks like the door from our room had a crack in it other then that great stay!

    So sketchy I didn’t even stay. All the other guests I saw were men, no women or families, just men. Also saw random people driving through the parking lot, not guests, just checking things out. DID NOT feel comfortable about myself or property. And to top it off there was no ice! No working ice machine in the entire building. Requested refund from management but they never even responded to me.

    Our room appeared clean but I found either a dead tick or bed bug in the sheets! The bathtub was so old and patched and no drain cover that I took a sponge bath. They didn’t have soap, nowhere to charge my phone, and the ice machine was out of order. It’s been awhile since I stayed at la Quinta and I won’t be booking again.

    The first time we stayed, the room was clean (109), shower/bathroom needs to be updated (rusty), bed was comfortable and I found it strange that they don't provide soap to wash your hands/body with. The second stay was not good. Room#204 no soap (again), half a roll of toilet paper was left for us to use with no spare (I had to ask for more), shoe prints were all over the floor area, shower/bathroom needs updates, and dog ticks on the property.

    Front desk receptionist. She was amazing. She was a sweetheart and she did everything she could to help. But the problems was not the staff. The problems was there was blood stains on the bed. The room smelled like mold. The rooms were not cooling. The AC didn't work. The whole hallway on the second floor smells moldy and wet. Would highly recommend for people with with kids to stay away. Would not book at a La Quinta ever again.

    When you walk in it smells really nice and clean but as soon as you walk down the hall, there’s a stench. The room smell like mold or maybe cigarettes it wasn’t a pleasant smell took me a while to fall asleep because of it.

    I had to be moved 3 times! the first room fridge didnt work and smelled horrible, oh and the tv didnt work. and the second had no cold water, tv didnt work, and also smelled, and in the 3rd one it had no shower curtain.

    La Quinta looks ok on the outside but the inside is unpleasant. As soon as I walked into my room, I knew I had to ask for another - it smelled like dirty, wet rag. They switched me to another (a couple doors down) which smelled better but several things sucked... the tv was different than the one in the 1st room (not a smart tv). Additionally, the curtains & the bathtub were dirty/stained. We also couldn't shower comfortably as the center of the tub was like, sunken... To sum my experience up, I would never book at this location again nor reccomend it to a family or friend.

    Much better than the La Quinta in Lubbock but also in need of care by upper management. Employees/staff was courteous and efficient, hotel was/smelled cleaned but the overall property condition lacks good attention. The carpets in the rooms need to be steamed and the flooring in the elevator is a mess!

    Theres a gas station and jack in the box in walking distance. Hotel had everything we needed, great breakfast, extra towels on demand, washer and dryer on site, clean pool , 10/10 recommend. Safe area as well!

    Hotel in very poor condition, several things not in working order or broken (entry door locks have huge holes around lock, shower temperature stuck on hot only, towels had holes in them, TV no signal, no hand soap or body wash available, elevator out of order, hot tub no heat, carpet damp). The bed was at least oknin our room, only real perk was their dog friendly policy and reasonable pet fee. Other hotel guests were complaining and asking for a refund while we were checking in. Hotel staff were not overly friendly but tried to be accommodating from what I saw.

    I got 2 rooms we loved the location I got 2 rooms only one house keeper was acting funny a women cycle was had I asked for sheets and towel but only a paper was left saying no smoking facility I had to use the fridge in 2nd room and microwave cause mine didn't come with one my kids ac worked when it wanted to 201-203 and I was dusty I had to wipe down if u got restroom now I didn't wipe where the hair dryer goes the manger could see that room was dusty and then I come home and they charged me 150 the hotel wasn't worth the pay I could have payed less somewhere else got same things probly cleaner with amenities working

    The hot tub didn’t work, the key card stopped working after the first day and I paid for two days. The bathroom light would go off before I was finished in there. The curtain was coming off the curtain rod. The picture was crooked on the wall. The room smelled musty. The very near by surroundings of the property looked like a junk yard.

    Dirty, hair on towels. The neighbors were so incredibly loud well into the night at least 1am and the walls were so thin I could hear everything clearly. The shower was rusting and moldy and the toilet was peeling. There was a terrible body odor smell especially around the bathroom and hair in the bed. The girl at the front desk was nice and helpful but the room and experience was terrible.

The plumber was on scene working on it however parts may have been needed. The front desk staff were honest and pleasant to deal with. I had the whole family and we did not have time for all of that stuff, so we went to a different hotel a few mile away.

    I do not travel. I have not been in a hotel room in over 10 years. I live in Houston, and when I have to go to CC, I just leave in the AM, and come back the same day. My experience at your hotel is one of the reasons that I don't stay in hotels. The old adage, "you get what you pay for" was evident in this case. My guess is, if I stayed at the Omni Hotel, this would not happen. They also would want $250 per night. Here is what happened to me last Sunday at your hotel: I has called down on Friday, and asked what time was breakfast served, I was quoted from 7:00 AM, until 10:00 AM. When I checked in, I found out this was only on the weekends. Sunday night, I asked Hailey where I could eat breakfast, and she had no clue. There was a "Jack in the Box" 100 feet from you. I checked in at about 10:00 pm, Sunday night. I got my key, and went to my room. The air conditioner was on, and the room was freezing, and the heat would not come on. 1.) That first thing I noticed was that there was no phone, for my wake up call. So I called down on my cell, and the lady said she could move me. I said no. 2.) The next thing that happened was the Television would come on, but I could not get it to go up, and down on the "channel guide" She came down, and she could not get it going either. She said she could move me. a.) So, we went to about 7 rooms, and not one T. V. worked. b.) I finally moved to 106 from 104, and turned the news channel was on. Hailey

    I recently spent five days at La Quinta and genuinely had an excellent time! The highlight was definitely the breakfast—I'm now a bit addicted to the make-your-own waffles, and there was always a great selection of protein, carbs, coffee, and juice to start the day right. The staff at La Quinta were exceptional, always making sure I had what I needed, whether it was fresh towels or local tips. The front desk team was super helpful with recommendations, from places to eat to parks where I could take my dog for bike rides. All in all, it was a great stay and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay.

    I originally booked another motel hut it was scary and i was travelijg solo with 2 dogs. I called this hotel and asked about their dog policy etc. They were super nice so i booked a room. It was a nice hotel in a good area. 5 mins from HEB and any good food. The room smelled musty and wet. AC worked but not great. Carpet felt wet and damp. Dog friendly. The front desk people are really nice. I locked myself out of my room twice in 30 mins and they gave me another key, i locked my keys in my car with my phone and everything in there running. They let me use the phone to call my husband and let me and my dogs hang out in the front lobby despite their rules of no dogs in the main areas other than coming and going. I would definitely stay again.

    The property seemed very unsafe. Our first room that we were in was in bad shape, the floor was sticky but the worst part was the door looked as it it had been broken into. My wife felt unsafe so we requested another room which was also looking like the door lock was pried open before. Looking out the back window from the room is a homeless encampment, tent and trails running through the woods. Probably the one responsible for all the pried doors. I couldn't sleep because there was lots of noise like peoplepving furniture around and had to keep one eye open for fear someone would try to come in. Very unsafe atmosphere. It was too late for us to do anything different, too late to get another room so we both barely slept at all. Never again at that place....

    The AC was very loud, however it worked well. We were right by the elevator and it went off frequently during the night. One night there was a woman in the halls shouting that it was one o'clock in the morning, which kept us awake. The property was clean, the fresh water with lemons and cucumbers was a nice touch. I also liked the water dispenser near the ice machine on the first floor.

    While the staff were friendly and helpful my overall stay was not up to par. The only working ice machine was on the first floor. The halls were rather warm and stuffy and had a peculiar odor. My room had a smell of mildew or as if something got wet and didn't dry properly. The furniture old and worn, a few drawers didn't close properly. There was a dead roach near the second floor ice machine that didn't work. This was my first bad experience at a LaQuinta so it was quite disappointing.

    Beds were comfortable and pool was good. Location was great for what we were there for. Easy access to main highway. Dated. Baseboards were falling off. Not super clean. Some of our lights didn’t work. Phone didn’t work. Shower was showing age (dipped in the middle, rust spots in the corner). Elevator was pretty dirty.

    Easy and convenient, value for money, quick stay option. Check-in was fairly straightforward and rooms were decent and semi-clean. The pool was refreshing and parking is free.     First glance the room was clean and cool. However the tub was rustyand there were two dead roaches in the bathroom. The AC unit was cooling well but was leaking water into the rug and the room was very damp. However for half the cost of rooms in the area, I could deal with it. Breakfast was standard comtinental but food was hit and fresh.

    Comfortable Beds and nice room. Pool and 1st day breakfast great. 2nd day breakfast not as well attended and out of several items . Some wear and tear in the bathrooms and toilets stopped up but maintenance came within 7 minutes.     The first room we were put in had a horrible moldy smell and the carpet was soaking wet. We were moved to another room which was better but very thin walls overall. The hotel is definitely in need of an upgrade. The wooden door frames and structures were falling apart. The bathtub and toilet had many stains. During our stay our door battery didn’t work and we had to call maintenance to let us back in. The hallways were very hot and the the equipment in the fitness room was all broken. Definitely worth paying a little more to stay at a better hotel.

    Cons air conditioner was leaking water so carpet had a 5ft in diameter soaking wet area. Had a friend stay there the same weekend and they had to transfer rooms because the floor was sticky. Over all if your on a budget then you can probably tough it out.

    Traveled for a small family vacation. When you walk in the building there is a musty/moldy smell. The room has the same smell, but you get what you pay for. It was an average stay nothing fancy or special but can’t beat the price. The pool was decent and hot tube worked. All staff was friendly.

    My husband and I stayed here and overall, it was a comfortable place to stay. It is an old property so naturally its dated, with a musty smell, but the bed was cozy, the room clean, very reasonably priced, and they offer a really good breakfast 😀 We had big Texas shaped waffles, bacon and eggs today, and it was great. We'll definitely stay again.

Didn't get a chance to go to the pool but it looked nice and big. The TV had a line across it but it didn't stop us from watching TV, it still worked.

    We started off at a different hotel in Corpus Christi and had a HORRIBLE experience. I then booked with LaQuinta here in Calallen. When we arrived, Hailey at the front desk greeted us with a smile and courtesy, when I told her about our previous hotel, she showed us our room before we decided to stay. The room was clean, smelled good and refreshing. Because Hailey went above and beyond we decided to stay the night and an extra night before going back to Colorado. The continental breakfast was great, and options were nice. I will definitely stay here again the next time we are here. There were 2 other young ladies at the front desk the next morning Nikki, and I didn't get tge others name, but they were great as well. Thank you Hailey, hope you're here when we come back in a few months.

    The room was advertised for 5 and did not accommodate 5. The room was dirty, we found random toys and a half eaten cheese stick. The bathroom door did not close properly and toilet didn’t flush. One of the beds was super squeaky. We have slept in lots of hotels and this by far was one of the worst considering what we paid.

    I paid for my family to have our dog with us and one of the staff was telling my son to put it in room as he was walking it out to use restroom.I addressed to her that she shouldnt be speaking to my kids about anything she just shushed me up by throwing up her hand to me as she’s walking away laughing.We asked for a plastic bag and the staff told us we could not have a bag to throw the trash.after we checked in for a family of 5 and we later asked for extra towels she only gave us 2 towels one of them being a floor towel.Pool area was great kids loved it.Room could’ve been a bit more clean.Stains on blankets we took them off and used our own blankets we brought.

    We reserved a double bed paid extra to guarantee it. Drove 6 hours only to get there and not have a double available 😡 the lady working was so nice but unfortunately there was nothing she could do. The ONLY thing they had available was a one king bed which we (5) took because every where else was booked. Other than that it was a great stay hot tub/pool was very relaxing and we LOVED the breakfast and how they didn’t have the same thing every day.

    The pool and hot tub were a plus. Front desk staff were very friendly and online check-in made our arrival real smooth. Mold on the ceilings in my room. My room smelled strange. A roach was crawling on the table in my kids room. They had no hot water in my kids shower. House keeping never came. Beds very uncomfortable. Elevator was broke down when we were going somewhere but when we came back it was fixed. Black stain in my bathroom tub won't come out, I tried i travel with my own cleaning supplies. Line for breakfast was so long we just went and ate at Dennys.

    The location was great. Easy access to and from beach and historical sites. Accommodations and breakfast was excellent. Visiting Corpus Christi, make this a must stop accommodation.

    I should not have been surprised that there were roaches since it was clear from the dirty toilet, stained ceiling, lack of amenities in the bathroom among other things, that the property does not take pride in keeping their rooms clean and ready for the next guest. The bathroom door didn’t close and there was no hot water. When I spoke to the lady at the front desk, she did nothing other than print my invoice and tell me she was sorry. She said she would inform her manager and that I should receive a call. It has been 8 hours since I checked out and I have not received a phone call. Obviously, they care about my experience about as much as they care about the cleanliness of their hotel.

    The front desk staff was awesome. We had a blowout on the way so we checked in late, and they were very accommodating, even letting us use the hot tub after hours for a little while. After a long arduous drive it was really nice to be able to soak for 20 minutes in a hot tub before I went to bed. Because of his kindness, we stayed a second night

    It was hot in the hallways to get to the room. Only place that was cool was the lobby. The floor of the elevator was tore up dangerous for anyone walking in and out of it. The door didn’t work after given a key two different time. The front desk person had to come upstairs and take the door apart to charge it just for it to open. Meanwhile my family and I are standing in the hallway with all our things sweating because it was extremely hot in the hallway.

    Great service and location. This hotel was minutes from the Baseball play offs in Calallen, shops, restaurants, Wal-Mart, etc. The bed had a contour, so hard to comfortably sleep, but everything else was nice. Complementary hot breakfast was delicious and saved us money and time. I had to wash and dry a load of clothes ($1.50 each). I recommend this hotel and will definitely come again.

    It’s located near a gas station, which was convenient. Disappointing stay. The breakfast was t worth it, only bagels and cereal were offered, which felt very limited. The bedrooms were out dated and in need of renovation. On top of that, the pool was out of service which was a big letdown. Would not recommend unless improvements are made.

    I had to move rooms twice, once for the tv not working and the second for no hot water. When I moved into the 3rd room I had to go get an armchair from the second room because the 3rd room didn’t have one. Once in the 3rd room I noticed mushrooms and other mold growing below the AC unit and along the wall. At this point I needed to get some work done after spending the first part of my evening moving, so I just stayed in that room. Then in the restroom when you flushed the toilet it sprayed out of the toilet onto the wall and floor. Just great. Cleanliness was mid. The evening shift desk attendant was friendly. When I checked out and told the desk staff about the room issues she just said “ok, thanks.” Without writing anything or notating in the computer. She certainly didn’t apologize for the inconvenience. I had to extend my trip here but rather than stay another night, I chose to check out and find somewhere else to stay.

    The Hotel smelled bad on the first floor corridor where my room was at. My room door looked like it had been pried open at one time. Although it's a non smoking hotel, it reeked like Marijuana. I guess the hotel doesn't consider that smoking! I had to request to change rooms due to the smell and unsettling feeling. I was given a room in the 2nd floor. A little better but the light in the restroom kept turning off. There was dirt and dust in the corners like the cleaning ladies didn't bother to check. Light fixtures and plugs didn't work right. Not a very good experience even though I booked my stay 2 weeks in advanced. Very disappointed..

    I didn't like that the tub was rusty, or that the room smelled moldy. Probably from no bathroom ventilation. I use hospital disinfectant at hotels anyway which remove all doors and germs. So the stay was fine. I liked the breakfast which was spicy chorizo egg and potatoes. The area outside was sketchy. Some homeless that live in the trees behind the property. But there supposedly security that I personally never saw. Overall quiet.
