The property was dirty, there were people living at this facility not just vacationing. There were drug addicts walking around the property and swimming in the pool. There were intoxicated adults in the pool with young children. Our room phone, tv, remote, and shower head did not work.(they did replace the shower head) They clean once a week so you have to go trade in towels for new ones. We had to ask four times in one day to get new towels. There is no trash pick up so you have to walk to the dumpster if you fill your trash. There was hair in the coffee one morning and I turned around to show the front desk, not a single apology or anything they just said they would pour that one cup out for me. The breakfast is packaged cold muffins and that’s it. The washer worked which we used our last night since we had been to the beach all week, only to find out none of the dryers worked and we were forced to drive home 8 hours with a suitcase full of wet clothes.(no I did not get my money back for the $3 wash and the TWO 2.75 dryer cycles that did not work) The environment is extremely loud due to unattended children from people living there. The staff was not welcoming but almost inconvenienced by guest requests. It served its purpose with the full kitchen and the true fact of it comfortably sleeping six of us. But we will never go back and thankful we were only there at night.

When we first arrived to the hotel to check in, we almost decided to go somewhere else, as when we pulled in their was at least 4-5 cop cars outside. My husband went inside to check in and overheard the situation and he said it wasnt anything too bad so we decided to stay. A few days went on and then we had CPS knocking at our hotel room door over said incident that happened the night we checked in🙃.other than all of that craziness our stay was okayish.

The pull out mattress was dirty and didn’t have sheets or blankets for that either. The floor was sticky. Needs more staff.

The water pressure was nonexistent & both the sink & toilet were clogged. The shower curtain was also disgusting & full of mildew. Our stay was short but it was not a good room.

The breakfast included was coffee, or was it coffee. If your trying to save a few bucks for an efficiency, look elsewhere and spend a few more bucks. The only positive for myself was the location.

Initially we had booked the rooms for the kitchen. No pots, pans, plates are provided with each room. That’s a $20 deposit, for the price you’d think they’d provide the basic kitchen essentials. One of our rooms were missing a remote, stained bed sheets and towels. Overall unpleasant, wouldn’t recommend

Had trouble with our reservation so had to pay basically twice and wait for my money to get refunded but the staff was really helpful they are the reason why I keep coming back

The property condition was very poor. Mattresses were worn out, holes in the carpet, soft spots in the floor, broken dresser and staining on the ceilings from water leaks. Staff were kind and helpful.

The staff here is always friendly but there was some problems like with the the key getting stuck in the door having to have my door open for like an hour after and in the side door not opening having to walk all the way around but I'd stay here again

There was no little towels in the bathroom, no stopper for the tub. Beds were super uncomfortable! Employees was rude AF! Considering they can barely speak english they need to properly learn to write it. Refrigerator stunk and not properly cooling. My son loss a whole half gallon of milk bc of it. The microwave was rusted. Broken furniture.

Stayed here last year and it was amazing, this time was different. They didn’t have towels for us to shower, there was mold in the bathroom and trash piled up in the first floor stairwell. The lady seemed mad when I wanted towels to take a shower and wanted me to wait until the morning and then ask me if I can call the front desk after I’m done using them so they can come and get them from me so they can wash them and I only ask for two towels after being at the beach and having sand on myself and my kids so we could get clean. I was really disappointed this time. I hope they fix it so we can stay again and love it like we did last time.

Serious cleanliness issue – bed bugs discovered during stay

The room had a wad of hair on the dirty, warped vinyl floor. Under the AC unit, the floor was spongy and depressed 3-4 inches. There were outlets with no covers, and the clock didn’t work. The couch was stained and the bathtub had mildew in the grout. There was a live roach. In order to have the dishes, pots, coffee pot, etc., I had to leave a $40 cash deposit. I took those back the next morning because I couldn’t bear to use them. The refrigerator had no adjustable knobs and froze my water bottles and cream stored on the door. The television never received signal for the two nights we were there, though 3 times the staff or “tv repairman” came up to fix it. The opening screen said “Embassy Suites Hotel” which was laughable. There was a single luggage cart, but getting it through the door was impossible for one person since the door had to be held open from the back while simultaneously lifting the front wheels up and over a 1-2” threshold. The sheets were a dingy gray instead of white. I am bound to be forgetting something! Suffice it to say, this place should be renamed the Never Again LAST Resort.

This property is very rundown and in need of an upgrade and a good clean. The floors throughout the lobby and rooms are disgusting with stains, dirt and general grime. We had two rooms and both rooms we had a cockroaches in them. The rooms and cockroaches were so bad we left a night early.

The couch was disgusting. It had all kinds of stains on it. I was afraid to touch it. The carpet had huge holes in it. The ceiling looked like it had a water leak. There were no towels in our room. I had to ask for them twice. I will never stay there again. Everything was old and run down. There were small roaches. The lobby was dirty with trash all over the floor.

The hotel had a very muggy odor. When we pulled out the sofa bed the sheets were very dirty. The bed itself had dirt. There were only two towels and when i asked the front desk for more, they said i had to bring the dirty ones first to get more. There was no toilet paper. I had to use the one i had brought.

The staff was friendly but when I asked for 1st floor like I usually always get... They put me on the 3rd floor... Other than that I had an appointment that day and was down the block from the office... Close to a lot of restaurants and a hospital if needed... It's always a good experience for me because it's convenient, quiet and close to everything I need.

They advertise continental breakfast but the only breakfast they offer is prepackaged muffins and coffee. Seriously, I’ve had better stays at Motel 6.

Kitchen was not fully equipped. Either you had to pay a 19.99 or 39.99 deposit to get the dishes to cook. Also the room we stayed in, had no chair to sit at the table.

Once again, I went to the front desk, but no one was there to assist. I called the number for help, but nobody answered. I ended up waiting about 10 to 15 minutes until someone finally arrived to provide a new set of door keys. As for the breakfast, it was quite disappointing. These are long-term issues that could only come from poor management and a lack of investment in the property from corporate leadership. The entire property is in need of major refurbishment. My room had a severe german roach infestation in the bathroom and large cracks they would come in and out of when the lights were on or off. Stains on all fabric in sight, room smelled of mildew, the room entrance door was hung improperly and you could actually see the hallway through the door hinges even when the door was closed and locked. The peep hole was so large you could easily so through it on both sides. Combined it was a concerning safety concerns. Sheets were worn and thin, outdated stained furniture. To be clear, we did not notify staff of the issues and give them a chance to remedy the situation. We used extreme measures to protect ourselves and stayed out of the room as much as possible during our stay.

Furthermore, my fiancée is terrified of roaches and is now anxious about the possibility of them hitching a ride home with us in our luggage, which is a legitimate concern given the circumstances. As a professional who regularly transports clients in my vehicle, the thought of roaches emerging from our suitcases or vehicle is utterly unacceptable and could potentially damage my business relationships. This place is just average not much to it tbh… If you’re a super particular about cleanliness this hotel is not for you. As soon as you walk in to check in the smell of fish hits you along with the mustiness of other scents. I assume it’s to try to charge you more for the extra time. So basically check out should be like 10am instead of 11am.. Needless to say I wouldn’t stay here again but if you don’t mind mediocre hotels then this place is for you.

The pool was relaxing as well the only thing I did not like was the luming smell of marijuana in the halls because I had planned this for the family and my 5yr old was with us. The front desk clerk was very nice and professional. The rooms could use a little update of remodeling, but suitable. I would stay here again. Was very affordable , had a room with a full kitchen which included microwave, electric stove and oven , also full size refrigerator. Awesome if you staying for a few days. Grocery store about 1/4 to 1/2 mile down the road.

Elevator smelled like dog pee and hall way smelled like dog poop. Hotel said it had breakfast. Only had muffins and coffee.

Very relaxing me and my husband stayed very comfortably and enjoyed our time away from home. Couldn’t ask for more comfortable place to stay.

The room smelled bad and we found blood stains on the bed comforter and sheets had stains but the service desk employee was nice to come and change the sheets with no problem at all, will never stay at another Extended Stay American Suites ever again.

Room was extremely dirty, tv didn’t work, every time we turned in the lights roaches would run. Had to take our luggage with us so that roaches wouldn’t get in. They allow pets there, but don’t really clean up so the carpets and floors are really dirty. Avoid at all costs.

The people there were very kind and attentive. I had made an online reservation for 2 nights. When I checked in, I had asked how much it would be add another night. I was told I would have to create a separate reservation but I would be able to keep the same room, would just need a new key. I told whoever I was speaking to that I would let them know later if I did want to add another night. As my family and I were packing up to check out there was a knock at the door. It was one of the front desk clerks. They asked me if i wanted to extend. I thought it was nice of them to ask. Made it seem like they remembered the conversation we had during check in.

My family and I didn't enjoy our stay , my kids had roaches coming out of their sink in the kitchen and my husband and I had spoiled food that was left in the microwave from previous guests I would assume. At night the other guests were very loud , its very hard to sleep with room doors slamming all night.This is just our experience,which I didn't lay out all of it , but we will not return to this extended stay again when in Corpus Christi.

I like the room set up, it was very spacious. Breakfast could have been better, I like the pool hours, the water wasn’t hot in the shower but I like that they offered extra towels, overall it was pretty nice and would more than likely stay there again.

There were roaches in 2/3 rooms I booked. Housekeeping only cleaned every 7 days. I had to take my own trash out and go downstairs to ask for towels bc the phone didn’t work. Overall since it’s an extended stay it’s decent. But for a family vacation it won’t work if you’re used to full service with issues such as the key kept messing up and locking me out. And the roaches throughout. It’s not the experience I anticipated. I won’t book an extended stay again since I now understand you pretty much are on your own as far as cleaning and asking for basic needs like trash bags and towels. Staff were great, that’s about the only thing that was okay, besides the full size kitchen. That was nice too. But again, had roaches.

When we first arrived to the hotel at check in time 3pm we got to our room and only one bed was made the other bed was stripped and the rest of the bedding sitting on the only made bed. When we told the front they said that the room was marked clean as an error. We said ok mistakes happen. Then we found there were no utensils. At the front desk you have to put a deposit down to get the kitchen ware $20 for plates,bowls, untensils ect. Then if you wanted pots and pans its $40 deposit. You are supposed to get it back at the end of your stay but we didnt take any chances. Also the deposit information is not listed on the website at all. Why? Thats something people should know before hand honestly. We had to call the front desk to get the trash taken out of the kitchen it was full from previous tenants. They responded pretty quickly but from all the evidence the room was not cleaned. There are dead small roaches in the kitchen cabinet and in the bathroom so definitely not cleaned. Then we get a room that has two queen beds and a sofa couch but we only got one towel in the restroom. Room sleeps six people and one towel? Honestly easy fix we called front desk they brought towels pretty quickly. Which we were greateful for. I go to the restroom at 12:45am and there are small roaches crawling around the toilet and tub. I recorded it. Went to front desk and was told no other rooms available and to talk to the manager in the morning. I will never stay here again.

It was kinda mid. Has someone who's a fastidious cleaner of their space is specially in the restroom, it really bothered me that I got out of the shower that was not only mildewing but had residue on the inside of the curtain...

I was very impressed with this hotel. I was excited about having the kitchen area in our room. The fridge was a great size as well. There was plenty of space to just relax. I appreciated having 2 beds and a sofa bed. Everyone had a spot. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Pool wasn't cleaned, leaves and debris floating on top and bottom of Pool. Someone should be checking ph-at very least. Parking lot had very shady people and parking very limited. Weed smell and drug deals on going on property. Also with all the bad things going on the hotel has the audacity to charge deposit for kitchenette supplies? Will not stay here EVER AGAIN. Stay America suites, in my head will be synonymous with AWFUL PLACE TO STAY from this experience.

The people upstairs where horribly loud all night. The front desk talked to them, but the noise never stopped. There were also roaches in my room. The back of the bathroom door was disgusting. The staff was really great but the hotel overall was nasty.

First room we were assigned the sheets were dirty so we got moved then there were roaches in the bathroom of the second room and then we were moved once again and just did not enjoy the stay at All. Couldn’t find a luggage cart to load stuff so had to carry it ourselves and just wasn’t a good stay at all

Worst hotel I ever stayed in. First they didn't have a room available they had to clean one even though the room was signed off clean. Had to wait almost 4 hrs to get a blanket and sheets for the sofa bed. Didn't have fresh towels available either. There was a lot of illegal activity going on outside and inside the hotel....seen cops there a couple of times. Had to buy our own dishes as well as silverware because they were charging for theres. Took my family swimming and the back entrance/exit didn't even work with your room card. Found sexual things right underneath the bed and the room wasn't even vacuumed or swept. The only thing that was good was the employee named Melanie tried her best to accommodate our needs. She eventually got the blanket and pillow for the sofa bed. She has really good customer service. As far as the rest of the employees......not good service at all. I promise I will never stay here again and I don't even know how they are still open... SMH

No shower curtain in the bathroom and a big COCKROACH near the table in the. We were traveling our 3 month old baby. That is absolutely disgusting, unsanitary and unacceptable!!

The coffee was good the breakfast not so much, especially after staying there 6 days. I made our own breakfast in the kitchen. The housewares were pretty slim with no decent knives or lids for the pots (though it was shown) There was a mistake in checking in with regards to Wink the Hospice Service Animal and the refund was made after the upgrade.

Saw bugs in the room. Never saw a phone in the room. Frig didn’t open. They only had a handful of muffins out for breakfast.

Checking in there was a black widow on the wall. When we got to the room there was empty water bottles behind the lamps, when you would sit at the end of the bed the whole bed would go up. Later on that night we started seeing roaches and they couldn’t move us to another room.

Hotel needs major updating. Old and stained furniture. Small roaches were in the bathroom. Bathtub was separating from the walls. Knobs kept coming off the stove. Broken windows. We couldnt open our room window be cause broken glass would fall into our room. Floors upon arrival needed a good sweeping. I should have taken pictures, but i had small kids i kept forgetting. We will not be staying there again. Do NOT recomend staying with children.

We booked a 4 night stay here. The AC in our room was making clicking sounds all night so we asked to move to a buffet room. Let me tell you, Hashar was the manager at the time and he was the manager for a reason! He was very polite, professional and accommodating. He got a new room and it was great. Thank you for your excellent service. Your staff was also friendly too. Thank you for the hospitality.

We had a late check in and I had called in advance to confirm my room. When I got there at 1 am we got our keys went up to our room and they had given us the wrong room I went and talked to the front desk lady and she told me there were no more rooms available for the night! I was upset because I had 3 small children one being a 5 month old so we needed a place to sleep fast and they gave us a room with 1 bed it was unacceptable I still have yet to receive my refund. We had to drive to a different town to find a hotel with rooms available will never be staying here again.

The property was clean and staff was friendly. Our door lock needed the batteries replaced and front desk staff came up with me and took care of it right away. The property is close to dining and a 20ish minute drive to the aquarium etc. Although clean, the property is clearly run down. The floor in our room was very hilly and the bathtub needed recalling. Our room door would stick every few times and we’d have to finagle it to get it open.

This property is dirty and dingy. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. The double pull-out sofa was disgusting. The mattress looked like it was pulled out of a dumpster; we couldn't even use it.

The microwave barely fit a standard sized paper plate. You have to pay a deposit for kitchenware. The towels are thin and small, and you have to ask for toilet paper by the roll. Getting in and out of the hotel was difficult due to the amount of traffic on Staples Street. However, it’s convenient to shopping and restaurants and was quite affordable for an extended stay. All in all, probably good for individuals on work assignments, but I would not bring my family again.

I’ll sleep on the street outside than this hotel next! The staff gave me a towel I requested that is unclean and scattered. He also told me “if I don’t mind ,I should get the dirty towel downstairs for him. This hotel I wouldn’t do it for $2 a night. I would rather sleep outside!!

There was a fist fight in the room next to us and management did nothing to resolve the situation. Water bug in the bathroom. Air conditioner went out in middle of night. Says continental breakfast: only chocolate muffins and plain oatmeal available. Coffee was not good.

The water in the bathtub drained poorly. The curtain in the bathtub had a musty smell. The meaning of the word "extended" in the name of the hotel for me always meant that there was a mini-kitchen and a set of dishes for this kitchen. And it always was. But now to get a plate and fork - you have to pay $ 20 for this. Very strange.

breakfast not what i expected

Chose this place for the pool and breakfast. The pool was dirty and people were drinking and smoking in the water. The free breakfast was old muffins, ran out of coffee and package oatmeal. The room had werid stains on the carpet and beds. Had no ice in hotel except for these empty ice trays. No trash cans in the room at all. Tried using the stove it started smoking like it was going to catch on fire.

I have stayed at an Extended Stay before and never have I experienced what my family and I went through. The room was beyond filthy. It was so bad that we left in the middle of night and thankfully found a more suitable hotel nearby.

I have zero complaint about the staff, They were all very nice and helpful in everyway they could! With that being said, the hotel needs major change with the cleaning department, It was very disgusting! We had to request a room change when we first got there because the smell of cigarettes with humidity inside the room was out of the ordinary. Then, they moved us to a room that looked on the surface better and smelled better too but it was all fake!. The carpet was disgusting to say the least, i am assuming that they never vacuum because we found a condom wrapper under the bed, an empty bottle of Gatorade and a lot of dirt. I cleaned it and disinfected the room the best i could. When we went to take a shower, there was an used loofah hanging from the bathroom curtain, disgusting, disgusting!! the blankets from the sleeping sofa were very dirty and used. It was disappointed. I ended up washing all the bed clothes at the hotel because everything was dirty, including the pillowcases! If you dont mind a very dirty hotel, then this is your place. I do not recommend it. The Hygiene is questionable and you can end up catching anything in there, especially if you are traveling with kids.

Many issues regarding this stay. When we booked, information stayed the room sleeps 6, with a sofa bed. There were only two beds in the room, no sofa. Key cards were constantly deactivating. No trash cans in the room. Pool area was filthy and out daughter refused to swim. Trash was over flowing (likely due to no trash cans in the room). Not enough toilet paper, also needed more towels for a room that sleeps 6. Last but certainly not least, the 4 bugs that looked like small roaches that we found and killed. Had it not been a holiday weekend, with very limited hotel options, we would have left. Didn't feel comfortable or clean in our room.

Absolutely horrible rooms !! The first room had German Cockroaches all in the room we immediately left ,second room was not cleaned at all it had a hand towel under the fitted sheet blood on the comforter and trash all underneath the sink and the floors were filthy!! My daughter and i had no choice we had to stay but we ourselves disinfected the entire room and put our sheets we had on the bed.The only thing they offered was a different room supposedly a upgraded room but it was being so called clean and the ceiling had spots horrible and the tv was facing a wall where u would have to stand to see it and floors were bad as well. No compensation for all the issues just upgrade to new dirty room. The only good was the workers at front desk were very very kind and caring. Overall horrible place. Definitely not good for kids at all. Only a few of the pictures from the room.

It was not bad. Only a couple issues. Noticed in the freezer there was an opened pack of frozen chicken. In the bathroom a small live roach. Other than that everything was great.

Not so clean. When we arrived to the front office, we noticed the floor was dirty. Originally, we were given a room on the second floor. As soon as the elevator doors opened, the place reeked of weed. That concerned me because I had my little ones with me. We decided to see the room either way and it was not been cleaned properly. There was only one towel and it was dirty/used. They didn't leave any toilet paper or soap, and there was pieces of trash on the floor. We were decided to leave but they offered to change our room. We were given a room on the first floor which was better. No weed smell and no carpets. Just in case, we bought some Lysol and sprayed the beds and cleaned the counters and bathroom. Even though the listing offered free breakfast, I didn't see an eating area but good thing there was a kitchen area in the room, so we cooked. Although we stayed the days planned, I wouldn't book another stay there.

It was very outdated. There was a kitchen and an option to call the front desk to have utensil, plates, cup, coffee maker, etc delivered to your room. I called several times and no one ever answered. Also, the beds were hard as a rock… my husband and I woke up and our backs and necks were killing us. There was only one body bath towel even though there were 3 people listed to stay in the room. There were two other towels, but they were small. Also, there were food splashes around the stove and the shower head was coming off the wall. We will not be staying here again.

Room smelled of urine, the floor was sticky and I was given a spry can to make smell better but I had to bring it back after use. The first time I stayed here it was great but not this time. I guess you never know what room your gonna get.

Easy Parking

The bathroom was even worse—unsanitary and in dire need of a deep cleaning. I immediately went down to the office to report the condition of the room and was told that someone would come up to clean it. Unfortunately, no one ever showed up—not that day or even the next. When I followed up, I was dismissed and told I could speak to the housekeeping staff myself because they were supposedly on my floor. I found this response completely unprofessional. It’s the hotel’s responsibility to ensure guest rooms are clean and that complaints are addressed promptly and respectfully. This experience left me feeling neglected and very uncomfortable during my stay. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone and suggest management take serious steps to improve their cleaning standards and customer service.

Roaches in bathroom.

The hotel was not up to par as the hallway on the first floor smelled like urine and it didn’t help that it was hot in hotel on top of that. The rooms were obviously not having the sheets changed as well as the pillows. The room was too dark when I needed light as the bulbs were too dim along with lamps not working. We felt itchy when lying down and getting up from the beds. The plug sockets were hanging off the wall so we didn’t use the plugs just because we were afraid of being electrocuted. This hotel is the Cecil hotel of Corpus Christi I will not ever come back to this hotel.

The listing advertised free breakfast, but it only included coffee, packaged muffins, unflavored oatmeal, and hot water—not a standard breakfast. On the second day, there weren’t even muffins left when we came down a little before 9 AM. This felt misleading. The front desk was often unattended. When we checked in, I waited about five minutes before someone yelled, “I’m coming!” from the back. They were friendly but unprofessional. Our first room smelled horrible, so we requested a change. The new room was clean and included a kitchenette, but the listing didn’t mention that kitchen essentials (plates, pots, etc.) cost an extra $40. We would’ve brought our own if we’d known. The pool was dirty and unusable, which disappointed my kids. On the last day, the elevator broke down. Nights were noisy due to banging sounds above us, and while the air conditioner kept the room cool, it was very loud. Overall, while the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, misleading amenities and maintenance issues made for a frustrating stay. The hotel should update its listing to reflect reality and improve its facilities.

Check-in was smooth, which was a plus! However, as soon as we walked into the room, my family started experiencing allergies for some reason. Unfortunately, we also found a couple of small cockroaches in the restroom and kitchen, along with leftover food from the previous guests. (I’ll upload pictures if there’s an option.) Property needs to be fumigated. The restrooms have no ventilation. Also, double-check your windows—ours didn’t lock properly, and the manual screw lock had been removed, so I had to secure it myself. The hotel was quite noisy, though that may have been because we were near the front lobby. A nearby pet barking at every noise or passerby didn’t help much with getting a peaceful stay. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was breakfast was offered, but it turned out to be very minimal. It’s truly a “grab-and-go” option with just coffee, oatmeal, hot water, and chocolate or blueberry muffins. Definitely not a full breakfast, so keep that in mind when booking. Great Stay, I would fully recommend anyone to stay here!

I booked a room with two beds and a pullout couch. The couch did not pull out it was stuck. If that was the case I would have just booked the room with double beds and not the one with the couch. The air condition made a lot of noise. We stayed because it was only for one night. The staff was nice but I didn't like the hotel.

I stayed on the third floor and the two things I have to complain about was the smell in the room and the water pressure .

Our check in was great, but our room wasnt, it was dirty, the couch was stuck and we couldnt use it. We saw chips in the couch, hair, etc in the floor. Then we moved to another room, the coach was OK, the floor was too dirty, our socks end black. I think if they make an effort to clean the rooms correctly, thay have a great place to stay.

Super sweet staff with everyone we interacted with. Easy parking and check in. Large rooms and comfy bed. However, the rooms need some updates and that was a bit disappointing. Towels weren't totally clean so got an extra set from downstairs. Shower itself had seen better days and really felt dingy. Non-smoking room but smell of smoke permeated from another room into the bathroom part of our room - slightly, but still enough to be annoying to non-smokers. And not a big deal, but TV didn't work and was old and even unplugged. Was fine for the price but a few dollars more would have probably been well spent. But with a few updates, this hotel can be back to its former glory.

I liked the fact that there was a fridge and a microwave in the room, the price was good for 2 nights, the room was clean. The best thing was the employees who really aimed to please.

The room had a broken recliner, the bathroom had blood looking stains on the floor, the shower had mold around the bottom of it. The breakfast they advertised is coffee and oatmeal (with water) and muffins, but by the time we made it down the muffins were gone and the service said they wouldn't have more until tomorrow. At 10:00 am we got a knock from housekeeping, we told her we were still there, 10 minutes later she was back, asking when we'd checkout. The place says smoke-free but reeked of weed, needless to say, I don't recommend this place to anyone.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This place is not only beyond unclean it is unsafe. The police upon arrival should have been an indicator but we gave it a chance. The first room had mold throughout the pullout sofa bed and when opening it saw why. It was soaked in pee and covered in pet hair. We were then met with a loud banging while in the bath and when opening the door the male manager pushed past myself and son to look “for a leak” all in my room. In the bath and kitchen while showing no concern for us traveling alone as women how crazy it was. They “upgraded the room” the second day after the pee mold and the second place had so many roaches there’s no way they didn’t know. This place is beyond uncared for and they know it. Left days early and just want to share in hopes no one makes the same mistake. It’s unclean and unsafe.

Staff was very friendly and check in was breeze. BUT The room smelled like smoke as soon as you opened the door. There were roaches in the bathroom and all the metal in the room and bathroom had rust on them.

Morning coffee was never available. The front sesk customer service was great.

The best part: the staff was very nice and welcoming. The property is very worn and dated. I won’t walk barefoot on the bathroom floor, and refused to shower because the tub & shower appear to be dirty & moldy. Coffee is only available downstairs for a limited time in the morning. This is a barest essentials, extended stay hotel. The beds are adequate and sheets looked clean, otherwise, I would have left. Pets & children are welcome. The hotel is VERY noisy - guests, traffic and frequent sirens. I will not stay here again.

Great place friendly staff

We have stayed here before plenty of times and like the location and that it’s close to a lot of major stores. The rooms, are large enough for a family. Just these past couple times: we have dealt with roaches. We gave it the second chance after the first time this past weekend, and we found 6 roaches within our 2 night stay. Some even smashed in our towels. The room didn’t have no trash can, and the bed cover was dirty. I think we did our last booking here. Thank you but next.

Just all around horrible.

First room we checked into had mold visible on chair and sofa bed . After that 2nd room did not have mold but not clean. We bought clraning supplies and cleaned but floorboards coming up and cracking. Stayed in other extended stay accommodations before and no issues but due to lack of cleanliness did not even try their breakfast items- not rven coffee. Thats bad!! We checked in 9:30 pm. Had we gone earlier we may have tried to cancel stay but places booked already. Do not recommend. Also elevator broke down during our stay. Only good thing eas centrally located and found a.great breakfast spot. Corpus location on staples st.

Had a nice week, TV remote didn't work and they brought me another in no time at all. Very friendly staff no problem at all.

They offer “free breakfast” but it’s actually coffe, oatmeal and sometimes muffins. And the mattress smelled like armpit.

The staff was very helpful and friendly and the pool was nice. However, the hotel was advertised as having a “free continental breakfast” and upon arrival we were told that breakfast was “grab and go” (which turned out to be muffins and granola bars - not what I would consider a continental breakfast). There are no ice machines, just trays in the freezer which are not necessarily helpful if you need ice immediately. In addition, the wi-fi did not seem to be turned on at any time other than late afternoon/evening. This might be a nice place to stay if you are planning to stay an extended period as the name suggests, otherwise there are other less pricey hotels that don’t have a kitchen but have better short-term amenities.

Everything use to be great in my other stays. This time we had alot of little roaches all night coming out. Front desk said to wait til morning to speak with manager to switch rooms. Which was no use since we were checking out in the morning.

The maintenance were cutting the grass and didn’t clean swimming pool I order to use it. Breakfast was limited and no coffee. AC was not working adequately. Room was hot. Will not recommend facility.

The main reason I booked Extended Stay is the fact that there’s a kitchenette so I have an option to cook. However this particular Extended Stay didn’t have utensils for us. We were told to check the following day at noon. I think it’s ridiculous. We had traveled all day with our kids and everyone was too tired to go to a restaurant. The front desk actually said, "Sorry, we’re out.” My husband had to ask,”You mean to tell me that such a big hotel is out of even styrofoam cups? What about those which you plan to put out for breakfast?” That’s when the guy brought out 4 styrofoam cups (at least we were able to heat up some water for tea). Pls note that for a party of 4 on day 3 of stay that's when they eventually gave us 2 dinner plates, 1 mug & a few others. We’re making do, but shouldn’t have to. It’s very inconvenient for a guest to keep asking for amenities that the hotel should make available. After all, aren’t these amenities included in the cost upon booking? Joke breakfast! Literally nothing to grab & go. Always out except for moldy muffins. No food poisoning is a miracle! Extended Stay America Corpus Christi, I get cutting costs but this is cutting corners. Guests are paying for amenities that are always out. Not cool. No efforts to improve. Other reviews as far back as 2 years state this. Future guests: STAY ELSEWHERE or lower your expectations!

The positive: The front desk lady was SUPER helpful and nice. She changed us to a two bed room that smelled nice and clean.

When we first got there it was hot in the room so we turned the AC down to 65 which it did nothing. The front desk came to look at it and said nothing was wrong with it. The pull out couch was broken so my son and nephew had to sleep on the floor our entire stay. The beds were hard as rocks. I am very disappointed with this extended stay and will not be returning.

The floor in the room felt sticky, so I had to keep the AC at 68, any warmer and the floor would feel gross. Other than that, the room was great. Staff wasn't around when it was time to check out. There were four other people waiting to check out as well. Even when the bell was rung, no one came. We all just ended up tossing our room keys on the desk, hoping that they checked us out in time. I guess they did, cause I didn't see an additional charge.
