Rosie at the front desk is amazing, kind, funny and very, very helpful. The housekeeping staff were awesome as well! We really appreciated all the hospitality that Comfort Inn suites in Corpus Christi at this location offered. I highly recommend!

The room was very clean. The closet was a little difficult for me to find, only because my arrival was close to 10:00 p.m. and the closet had a full length mirrored door. I mistook it for a full length mirror, which there was already one in the room. LOL! The staff was very courteous for my short stay. I will definitely be back!

Clean room was more spacious than imagined. Breakfast was okay. Restroom could use a little update and the pull out bed. The pull out bed also uncomfortable.

The property is outdated. The breakfast buffet was subpar. The staff was commendable for providing additional blankets and towels as required. However, there was a severe rainstorm, resulting in water leakage through the windows and into the room.

The location was perfect since we were there for a student orientation at TAMU-CC. We waited to check in for about 5 minutes because no one was at the counter. My room keys didn’t work and I had to get them replaced twice. The AC in the room (room 322) didn’t work. I could not adjust the temperature, setting and could not turn it off. I had to unplug the AC. And there was no iron or ironing board in the room.

Excellent location near Texas A & M University! The front desk staff was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable! The fitness room is small with automated lights that went off frequently, so I worked out partially in the dark. The continental breakfast at 8:30-ish was not well stocked, although it was a crowded weekend of commencements and other events. The hot water was not hot, so you need to heat it up in one small microwave oven. The rooms were very clean with great supplies, but the closets I guess were too hidden for me and the A/C unit would not turn off so I unplugged it. The suite was spacious and comfortable!

Old outdated rooms breakfast was not stocked when we went down at 9 am. My shower wouldn’t drain properly. The tub was all chipped and rusted.

Good well-maintained hotel. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Staff at reception are distracted. When I checked out, there was no one at the reception and I left my key cards on the desk and left. Other than that, it is a great hotel to stay in.

This appears to be an older property and is due some catch-up maintenance. It sets next to a major highway and is very noise! Very noise!!

This hotel is a good value. It's not new, and there are small maintenance issues. My room had a sluggish toilet and a flickering light in the entryway. Nothing was to a level that I couldn't bear it. I didn't want anyone in my room while I was there, and I forgot to tell management. I do wish I could have chosen the room temp I wanted though. It won't adjust below 68, and I like to seep with a pretty cold room. That said, I would stay here again.

The pool was dirty my sons really wanted to swim ??,theirs not a lot of gym equipment to work with and no weights and the worst part a house cleaning lady was supposed to clean our room she did more then cleaning she stole my husband Beats that was gifted to him from his job their worth 100$ in something dollars my daughter went to tell the front office what happened they said she just left it’s like tell her to come back since she just left so just know God sees everything but other than that the we still enjoy our stay God bless you all.

My room was clean. Had plenty of clean towels. I don't usually watch TV. I liked the lighting in the room, Also the coffee maker in the room so I can have fresh coffee when I want. The internet speed leaves much to be desired. But otherwise, I was happy.

They had a post-it note in their “marketplace” that had hand-written cash only. I didn’t have cash and needed a couple waters for the room. I ask if it’s possible to charge to the card they have on file. Front desk tells me “sorry but it’s cash only”. I asked why. They said it was because they had problems with guest in the past. I asked what kind of problem. They said they didn’t know, it was before they started there. So I had to leave to go buy a couple bottles of water. Later, I call down and ask if they can bring bedding and pillows for the sofa bed. They said, “you can come down and get it.” Little rude, but I figure they must only have one person or be busy. When I get down they have two workers at the desk and no guest. I ask for the bedding and 5 minutes later they return. The next morning we are woken up by housekeeping knocking at 9am. Tell them we are still there and we go back to sleep. Knocks again at 9:30 wake us up. So I call down and ask what time is check out. They say noon. So I asked if they can tell housekeeping to stop waking us. They told me “No, but you can put out your do not disturb sign”. We didn’t have one in the room. I’ll never come back here.

Bathroom had outbreak of flying ants/termites...DISGUSTING!! had to request spraying twice, when it was done, same thing next night. Was told that Maintenance would not be back for two days to fix a running toilet. How can a hotel not have maintenance for two days??

The room was decently cleaned. The drawer handles were sticky and there was sticky stuff in the bathroom floor. Staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. WiFi was not too bad a tad slow but worked fine for what we needed it for. The shower paint was peeling and grout was lifting. You can tell there was a lot of patch jobs done on this property.

Everything is good. Front office staff, Trey, was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was with the bathroom shower head. It is old and most of the holes are blocked and so the water flow was affected. After a long day and looking forward to a good shower, it was disappointing. I hope the hotel will replace all new shower heads on my next stay.

We went to a show called Bingo Loco, and this hotel was very close. We arrived almost at 1 a.m., and the girl who assisted us was super friendly (sorry, I don’t remember her name). She gave us all the information very clearly and always with a smile. The rooms are very large and spacious; we had two queen beds and a sofa. The bathroom was also very spacious. The only thing we might have expected was bottled water in the room, but there wasn’t any; however, there are water fountains in the hallway, so problem solved. I definitely recommend this hotel.

I just told them we were still occupying the room. About 30 minutes later, I’m taking a load of stuff to the car, and they’re still hanging around outside my room waiting. They asked if we were checking out, and I told them no and proceeded to my car. When I got back a few minutes later, my 6- and 11-year-old daughters, who were alone in the room watching TV, told me housekeeping had tried to come into the room while I was gone. Literally right after I told them we weren’t ready to check out yet. We felt really rushed and stressed to leave quickly, even though checkout time was two hours away. Then, when I told all of this to the girl at the front desk, she was rude and couldn’t care less. I go to Corpus several times a year, but I will never stay at this hotel again. Terrible.

The breakfast is not as described in website. At 07:30 in the morning, coffee is not hot at all, just warm. No hot foods at all, Cereal, bread, bagels, milk and banana are available.

However, the breakfast could definitely use some improvement, especially in terms of vegetarian options. Adding more variety would make the experience much better for guests who prefer or need vegetarian food. Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hotel’s atmosphere and cleanliness.

Price is presentable Not impressive. Coffee was warm, not hot. Bad breakfast. The air conditioner had no heater. Even though we followed the instructions from the front desk, we ended up shutting the air conditioner down.

Having booked on line and having never been to Corpus Christi before, we didn’t know what to expect; however, the hotel and location were way above what we expected. The staff was kind, accommodating, and very helpful. No matter what we asked, we were given helpful advice and support. The room (including the carpet) was spotless and well cared for each day. The room always had a pleasant smell everyday. The linens were very white and looked new; however, from seeing the cleaning carts, I believe they were just well taken care of. Would I recommend this hotel or stay there again, without a doubt. Also, it was located new many eating places and a large shopping center. Parking was excellent. The breakfast was good. The bed was too high for me. My husband had to hold my hand so i could get into bed. It was difficult to adjust the temperature in the room. Coming back each day, the room was freezing.

We stayed 1 night. We always book based off of reviews and I do not understand how this hotel has great reviews, honestly. I took several pics of everything. The bathroom had mold/mildew, cracked paunt in the tub, rust, and the shower head was absolutely disgusting. The sink faucet also was disgusting and not clean. There were stains on the lampshades, the room smelled like mildew, the ceiling was cracked or the sheetrock was coming apart. The sheets were clean, but there were light stains on one of the bedsheets. The ONLY thing that was great was the lady at guest services! She is absolutely amazing!! We would have stayed elsewhere if it wasnt for the fact that our stay was non-refundable.

Everything is always great here, but we we bothered by housekeeping too many times. We had discussed everything when we checked in about pating one night but staying two more because University was paying for us to be here. Lady wrote it down, so lack of communication or something, but knocking on door by 9am was ridiculous on a Sunday. Once we told them No and said we were not checking out, I had called front desk already too. Even with this, it is a great place to stay!

The gentleman who checked us in was friendly and professional. The room was clean, parking was easy with good lighting at night, breakfast had variety and also Texas shaped waffles, and the hotel was quiet.

The breakfast menu was not very appetizing unless you really liked rubbery omelets, pancakes and waffles. There was no real creamer for the coffee. The parking was fine. There were things that needed to be fixed in the room that could have been taken care of with minimal effort.

Everything was great! Haven’t been able to say that about a stay in a long time! The only trouble was the room keys but that was taken care of by the friendly staff. Definitely would recommend the place was clean and the food was good the service was great!

It appears I was charged some fee of $11.51 three times on my cc. Coffee maker in room did not work. The front desk said the breakfast attendant was a no show so no breakfast except banana, apple and yogurt.

Stay was good as usual. With exception of one day people next door slammed door from 2:30 am to 4:00 am in the morning.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. All of the staff were wonderful. Everyone from the 2 young ladies who checked me who went above and beyond to assist me in, housekeeping staff who kept the room looking clean and cozy. The contractors who were there doing upkeep were extremely helpful and aware of areas they were working on. The beds were so comfortable. I even wanted to ask where they got the mattress topper at so I could look into getting that exact kind because it was that comfortable.

The bed was really comfortable, and the staff was really nice. The room was consistently hot, even with the ac set at 69 it never turned off in the 3 days I was there, you can see daylight on the sides of the front door, and the shower didnt work very well, it wouldn't pull up all the way so it was like taking a shower with a ligh mist and a pressure washer at your feet.

Overall, the property was nice and clean. We were unfortunately placed in a room next door to another room that had some remodeling getting done and they were working throughout the night. At least it seemed like it because we kept hearing banging and pounding coming from that room. So we didn't get too much sleep and didn't want to move all our things in the middle of the night to another room. The manager we spoke to in the morning apologized and said the young man who checked us in probably forgot about the construction going on when he assigned our room. She did say that if we ever return to stay to ask for her specifically and she would give us a super discounted rate on our next stay. We might just take her up on that.

The property isnt new but it is kept up. Our suite was spacious clean and comfortable. We appreciated the laundry facilities and that the front desk had quarters for the machines. Highway noise a factor because of its location. Someone was being very audibly romantic across the hall. But staff was friendly we never saw a bug and it was convenient to where we wanted to be.

It was good for what I was doing and in a good location for easy beach access.

It was a pretty good breakfast and for the low price the hotel was it was good. My only complaint is the pillows on the bed were bumpy and uncomfortable like they hadn’t been replaced in years. Other then that it was good!

Carpet smells terrible, elevator smells terrible too, rust everywhere in the bathroom, cockroaches, dining space is so small you have to wait for an available table or take your food and eat it somewhere else

Most importantly, the beach was not far at all from the hotel.

This hotel is cloest to where I need to be when in Corpus Christi BUT I think I need to fond another hotel. Wifi & customer office space does NOT work; even though the hotel advertised Free Wifi. I believe I should be compensated for this hugh inconvenience and I wish this location would fix tge wifi issue! Their breakfast is wonderful!!

Rosie went out of her way to accommodate us on a very busy weekend at the hotel. She works miracles and is so pleasant. We really appreciated her excellent customer service which is sadly lacking in some companies these days. Trey was also very helpful to us.

I especially like the small soap bars that they give you, I wanted like 100 but it wouldn’t give me 100 so I just took the two that were there, hopefully next time I can really get 100 of those soap bars I think that would be amazing and I think sometimes in life even if you get two soap bars Better than none

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sink in the restroom was broken. Entrance into hotel was one direction and hard to get to from the other direction.

The property is great and close to the university.

The breakfast was a little disappointing. Also, we wanted to go swimming and got up early just for that reason. We went out at 8 to go swimming and the pool was dirty. They cleaned it about 10 but then it was too late to swim because we had another appointment and didn't get back to hotel until late.

The breakfast was solid—just what you’d expect, and a good start to the day. The real standout was the coffee, which was excellent. One downside was the noise from the nearby highway; the sound of screeching cars made it a bit difficult to sleep. On the plus side, the location was very convenient for visiting our family, which was a big benefit. The staff was friendly and anttentive. Overall, despite the noise, we’d be happy to stay here again.

I stay in a lot of hotels on business. This hotel room was fantastic for the price!

The room was not clean and there was a smell

Everything was great only knock is that if you are coming back later in the night you may have to park by the gas station but I wasn’t concerned as there was a security officer keeping watch.

Staff was friendly, breakfast was good. Room was nice, ac worked well.

Everything was fine. The only thing that was a challenge was the parking lot was full on Saturday night and there was no alternate parking suggested at the front desk.

All my fishing gear was stolen from the front of the property and in front of my room

Rooms could use renovations and shower curtain had torn areas. Pool water seemed dirty so we couldn’t use it during our stay. Complimentary breakfast was an average. Parking spaces were limited.

Very clean and comfortable

Very nice and clean hotel. The bed was comfortable. You are limited to how cold you can make your room, so I did get a little hot during the night so my sleep could have been better, but that’s personal preference. The room is spacious and well appointed.

Hard to exit from property and very busy parking lot.

This was a perfect location for us about 10 minutes from the Packery Channel- a nice beach and good fishing. We passed multiple bait places on the way also- another bonus. Our room was great- clean and a nice size. The front desk staff were especially helpful. Our last night there, we had some people above us who were making a lot of noise and it was getting to be around 11 pm. We told the front desk and they contacted them immediately, remedied the issue, AND even called us back to let us know it was taken care of. We really appreciated the customer service, which now days is hard to find. Breakfast was also plentiful and perfect to start our day. My husband didn’t even complain about the coffee, so I know it was good! Overall, an excellent stay.

The room was great and the staff was very friendly. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and a CVS right across the street if you need anything. I would definitely stay here again.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work very well and when someone bbqs outside, the smell permeates into the room but does eventually go away. Very nice people at the front desk!

I stay here frequently when visiting my family in the area. Always friendly staff and very clean. Some of the property is not 100% (older bathtubs, but always clean), but it's not meant to be a five star hotel. Just clean, convenient, comfortable, and reasonable price - with excellent, friendly staff.

We had an absolutely amazing stay. Comfort inn& suites offered premium quality for an affordable price.

Staff was excellent. First night ac gave out around 1:30 am. Called front desk and they cane out and got it running again. Next morning was fine up until around 2pm and ac gave out again. Called front desk to inform them and they immediately sent maintenance to check on it. Withinn 30min they installed a different ac unit. Maintenance guy was very quick and efficient. Overall stay was good. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

This is our second stay, and everything was excellent. I looked at reviews of other hotels in the area, and this one remains the best: attentiveness of all the staff, cleanliness, pool area, lunch, etc. Thank you so much for keeping this hotel a pleasant place to always visit.

Did not like...1st night, air conditioner went out. Asked housekeeping to refill shampoo/conditioner on 1st day which was never done. Unsafe parking lot in the evening...homeless, people hanging out in the parking lot.

It was close Padre Island.

The hotel was nice and clean with very friendly and helpful staff. The reason why we didn't give 5 stars is because of the bathroom. The tub was not clean and wouldn't drain because of hair in the drain (not ours) and there was a dead bug in the toilet paper holder. The carpet needed vacuuming because there were little hair balls (not our hair) in multiple places. The swimming pool also needed some maintenance. Other than that, it was quiet and the beds were clean and it was not a long drive to the beach.

The property needs refurbishing. The tub was peeling looks as if it had been painted over. Sofas were old and dingy. Condition of room not s advertised.

We had a leaking air conditioner which totally soaked the carpet. The staff was great and got us into another room on the July 4th weekend. Having to change rooms was annoying which is partially why I deducted a star, but the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The other partial reason I deducted a star is the breakfast. The taste was fine for this type of hotel but they only had 1 person working and she was not able to keep up with the demand. This wasn’t her fault as the place was very busy and she was working it alone. I ding management for that.
