One of the most disgusting altercations I’ve had with a hotel. Showed up after a 9 hour drive

1st of all We believe this hotel is ready to close because its very run down and we never saw any other guests in the 2 nights we stayed besides our families. The ceiling was falling in chunks and for the whole entire day until the next day someone actually cleaned it!! The cafe never opened the entire time! No complimentary coffee or any other amenities were offered, the orange sofas closer to the Banquet hall were so disgusting, dirty and the leather was pealed off!! No one ever answered the phones when we had question for the front desk. The lady who checked us in was so friendly but the one that did our check out was beyond rude and unprofessional!! She was seriously unhappy and frustrated with her job!! When I booked it was a Marriot then it suddenly changed to Columbus Hilliard hotel, well I understand why it changed the name...this is for sure No Marriot quality. I will never stay here nor any of all the families that stayed here. Bad service, it was a ghost town, amenities and all the furniture in the lobby was dirty and disgusting!!

I never even got to stay because hotels.com overbooked that property and now I'm out sn additional 400 dollars. Im telling literally everyone i know not to use your company

Is this how Mariott Fire alarm went off right when my girlfriend and I got out of the shower, we had already previously told the front desk about the fan not working in the bathroom. There maintenance "tech" came up knocked on the door, he said he smelled smoke, and the alarms only go off from smoking. Accusing us of smoking. We do not smoke cigarettes or anything else, our jobs regularly drug screen. The chime is loud enough to cause hearing damage. They did not turn it off. We tried to put a towel over the device to quiet it. The tech came back and said we tampered with the device and had to leave immediately. We were given 30 minutes to to get out. We were still getting dressed from the shower so had to get dressed and get out with all our belongings. They never turned the alarm off and it was close to an hour of alarm exposure to our ears. This place is a scam and needs to be investigated. When at the front desk the staff member was smug and arrogant and did not want to help or accommodate our situation. I paid 5 nights over $700 and we only were there for 3. STAY AWAY.

I booked through here for a one night stay. Upon arrival the woman working the frint desk claimed that my room was not paid for yet. I told her that it was and she said that they never charge before arrival only upon checkout, that it must of been just a hold on my account. I let it go and gave her my credit card, i was to exhausted from traveling. A week later I have a charge from expedia and another charge from the hotel. So I got charged twice for the room. Expedia was quickly able to look into the issue for me, however, I am not happy with the service of the staff. Also, our bathroom was not completely clean. I found hair on the floor, and the shower did not work accurately. I will not be staying here again.

The Staff was helpfull, the room was clean [and quiet], and convienient parking.

Hotel was over sold. Reservation was denied

Room was cancelled without notice. Big festival in town so all 3rd party bookings were canceled so they could resale the room at high demand ra+es. No rooms when i arrived. Very hard to finad any room in Columbus after the cancelation. Luckily I found another hotel 2 houra later. Front desk wasn't very friendly about the cancelation either. E pedia need to ban this hotel.

This hotel will cancel your booking if they see a profit can be made. Don't trust that you will have a room when you arrive.
