Residence Inn by Marriott Columbus Airport

Overall great place! Location is super convenient for airport! Breakfast was very nice! Lobby, elevators and hallways clean. Room and its bathroom were super clean! Overall great and would stay again!

The room was ok, but the food was awful and the service was extremely poor. I was traveling on my own with two small kids. We had to leave the hotel at 5:15am. The night before I asked about coordinating the shuttle and the woman told me to just come to the lobby at 5 and they would order the shuttle. The next morning I was there at 5 and the guy told me he would not order the shuttle until I had my kids with me in the lobby. I explained to him that I had discussed this the night before with the woman at the front desk and was doing exactly what she’d instructed me to do. He refused to call the shuttle until my kids were in the lobby. I had them in the lobby at 5:15 but it took another twelve minutes for the shuttle! Not what I’d call good customer service.

Everyone was so friendly, we will return here many times... We enjoyed talking with the barmaid; she was super friendly.

It was close to the airport. The room didn’t have either shampoo or body wash in the shower.

Shuttle to airport When we arrived the lobby TV prominently showed martial arts and we had problems to keep our toddler from having to see that while checking in.

I would not recommend this hotel. I needed to postpone our stay due to a schedule change, so I sent a message to the property several times with NO reply to any of the messages. I was still charged for the unused hotel night. Hopefully, it's just a case of something falling through the cracks and not the norm for this facility. We have a couple more trips to Columbus in the coming months, but we will likely not be staying here, as I have seen other comments about poor customer service.

The fact that I was leaving your premises and knowing that I will never return to a Marriott ever again was what I liked Being treated like I was just a major inconvenience bye your desk clerk. Uncleanness of room and lack of hygienic facilities will ensure I will not be returning to a Marriott in the foreseeable future
