We're loyal Hilton Honors members and chose The Graduate for a special trip to the Cincinnati Zoo with our four-year-old. Because the hotel showed as unavailable on Hilton's site, we booked through Expedia. Our travel plans changed and we couldn't arrive Friday night. I called the hotel, who said it shouldn't be a problem but to confirm with Expedia. Expedia confirmed we were fine to check in Saturday since we'd already paid for both nights. We made the drive anyway so our son wouldn't miss the zoo. After a full day there, exhausted, I went to check in while my husband and son waited in the car — and that's where things fell apart. Our room had been given away. Rather than simply offering us another room, the front desk attendant repeatedly lectured me that I should have gotten the name of the person I spoke with on Friday. They kept saying *"I'm not saying I don't believe you"* — which only made it feel like they didn't. The conversation went in circles and never moved toward a solution. I want to be clear: I believe this person meant well. I wish them well in their endeavors. But hospitality means problem-solving first, and explaining policy second. We were a tired family who just wanted a room we'd already paid for, not twenty minutes of shaming for not getting someone’s name and booking through Expedia rather than them directly.

Staff were great to work with.

We had previously visited the Graduate in Oxford Mississippi and there is no comparison. The Graduate in Oxford is a beautiful high end hotel with great amenities, awesome roof top bar, everything you would love. The Graduate in Cincinnati was nothing similar. The staff was nice enough, but the decor and amenities were not comparable to we expected based on our Oxford experience. The carpet in the room looked clean, but had an unfortunate smell. Again, the staff was nice, but the facility is just not the quality we expected.

It was such a fun vibe. Loved the room decor. Very clean. Fantastic service. One of my favorite hotels.

Graduate, you can do better.

Unique decor in the rooms and building. Food from the kitchen was also amazing, both breakfast and dinner. Would go back in a heartbeat.

This hotel is adorable and in a great location. But, it continues to exist despite itself. We’ve stayed a few times while going to a U Cincy event, and there’s always some kind of billing or other problem. This time, there was a fire alarm at 3am, and we were all evacuated. The staff was nowhere while we all filed out, and then they couldn’t even direct us to a staircase to get back to our room. They did provide free breakfast vouchers, but we’d already paid for the breakfast vouchers and had to seek a reimbursement through Hotels.com. What a pain! The staff is nice, but usually clueless.

The coffee bar in the morning was sooo slow/long. Probably 15 people deep all morning. That poor barista was so overwhelmed. Taking orders/register & making all the drinks. 2 people should’ve been back there at LEAST! I will say she kept such a great attitude & was so kind & quick despite being slammed constantly. Some customers were grumpy with her because of the wait but she handled it with so much grace. I wish I got her name, but she deserves a raise. The basketball was cool. Definitely dog pee stains in some areas of hotel. It wasn’t really worth the price/hype but the staff was nice.

Great place I will be going back soon!!

Great hotel for a reasonable price

Love all the thoughtful, funky decor! The property was super clean and located close to everything we wanted to do. The coffee shop only had one staff member during our stay. Sunday morning on a holiday weekend the line took over half an hour. Loved our stay, but wish there was coffee in the room and somewhere in the bathroom to set your stuff.

I regularly stay at this hotel. While the room appeared to be maintained, the mirrors were not cleaned, as there were hand prints on the closet doors and other signs of a rushed cleaning. The hair conditioner that the hotel supplies to guests was completely out and once in the shower there is not a great way to ask for more. The premises were quiet and relaxing and the front desk personnel were great.

I apologize I did not get your name. Her service was exceptional. She made me feel welcome and was very attentive. Just her service will be the reason I choose to stay here again. Thank you very much!

In addition, parking is connected to the hotel. There is a great little bar downstairs with a friendly, talented bartender. We like that there are healthy snack choices available. The only real let down, was that Poindexter never seemed to be open. I guess we just missed them. Overall you will not regret staying here.

Was surprised upon my arrival that I had no adult options. Bed was uncomfortable & very low to the ground. Box springs setting on the floor! Kiddie environment w/ adult prices & no adult options. This will be my 1st & last time I will stay @ the Graduate!

Room was clean, comfortable beds and friendly staff
