There's large windowed room near the elevator on each floor that's a great place to work or start your day in quiet if you're an early riser like me. Great property and lots of passion in their service. It's only 10 to 15 minutes walking to anywhere on campus. A must stay in Charlottesville.

This hotel is new. It's a beautiful hotel. The staff were wonderful. Connor and Henry especially superb in there guest care. The rooms are well done. The off-site parking was not ideal, although it was not far away and paying an extra fee for the parking seems silly, it should simply be included in the rate of the room. That would be my only complaint however about this hotel. All the staff seem to be very attentive. It is a nice reminder of what hospitality should actually be like and what the people who choose to go into the hospitality business should represent.

Beautiful hotel that was clean, spacious and had comfortable beds and pillows. Great thick bath towels. Excellent gym! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only real drawback would be for mobility issues , the parking garage is not connected and feels disjointed from the hotel. There are stairs and multiple levels to navigate but that wasn’t an issue for us. Highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel. Room was comfortable and clean and the staff from front desk to manager to restaurant servers were all excellent and helpful.

Conner was great at check in. Really appreciate the helpful staff and for the price? I dont understand why it was so cheap.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Virginia Guesthouse. The hotel had opened up just the month before, and the property was very-well appointed, and immaculate. It felt like a room night should have cost at least a couple times more than I did. Added bonus, our breakfast at their restaurant was amazing.

Awesome stay with a friendly staff excited to be working in the new hotel. Only challenge was the garage having a flight of stairs. No issues leaving the car out front to load/unload but I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

I loved the aesthetic and the amenities! The staff was also very accommodating and professional! Nothing!

It was a clean place. I like having a bar and restaurant. Good thing it wasn’t raining because you have no cover when unloading luggage. Have no cover from parking garage to hotel. No elevator in parking garage. WIFI no good.

The place was amazing! Very clean and the coffee bar had delicious coffee bright and early in the morning!

The service at Perch was extremely slow. There was one waitress for 12+ tables so it wasn't her fault. The food selection at Perch also left a lot to be desired. One of the elevators was out of service which also made for interminable waits. It should also be made clear that parking was $15 a day. This wasn't mentioned anywhere. The rate offered when I called the hotel was almost $900! I told the agent that on booking.com it was $622. She could not match the rate or work with me so I just booked it online.

Very impressed….Great facility and such a wonderful team they’ve built in such a short time!

I would’ve given this hotel five stars, had I been charged their normal rack rates. It’s brand new, beautiful, and has an extremely friendly and professional staff. Unfortunately, at nearly $1000 per night on graduation weekend, it raises the expectations and the hotel does not meet that price category of property. It’s a clearly cashing in on a captive audience but seems to be a common theme in the area. That said, as long as you avoid the gauging times, this is an excellent hotel near UVA.

Now the hotel is beautiful but there seems to be a disconnect between design and functionality.
