Breakfast was the same as every other hotel in the area. Same vender no orange juice, machine was broken Pool was very dirty. Took Days to clean it.

The front desk was very helpful and kind. I did have an issue with the shower not giving full pressure and the toilet not flushing properly. I also asked the cleaning staff to change the bed sheets two different time and it was never done. The reviews were good, which is what led me to book but I was disappointed.

Breakfast was GREAT! My grandson really enjoyed the cinnamon bagel. The only thing that I didn't like was we couldn't get the window shades to work. The remote control for the shades didn't work.

Ima leave a completely honest review the i got to the hotel the staff was super friendly especially the blond young lady working in the night the amenities are cool and the hot tub was dirty but thats alright the gym is 24/7 breakfast was trash the food was pretty dry online is says they serve omelets or whatever but its scrambled the rooms are modern and so is the bulding thats why i booked but here is the Real Problem i went into the room and it was dirty like when i put my bags on the chair there was pieces of chicken in the bottom of the chair and on the side of my bed there was nail clippings meaning they problably dont really clean, also there was pubic hair in the chair and stains and in the bed there was crumbs inside the blankets like maybe they dont wash the sheets daily and also the bed is very low and lopsided like if the matress has no cushion in it i couldnt even sleep beacuse it was tiled it sucks and this was the part i hated the most i put the blue do not disturb sign in the door and the housekeeping was trying to come in even thoe i told them im in here and i have till 11 she almost opened the door and i dint have pants i just decided at that point to just leave it sucks it was not comfortable the only good thing is the amenities but the bed and housekeeping and cleaning terrible

Upon check in staff was friendly given our room right away. Once we entered our first room the smelled so strong of pine sol it was overwhelming. Went back to front desk explained asked for another room they changed us for two queens to a king. Went to the next room seemed ok so we choose to stay in that room. Went down to hot tub that evening since we had been traveling and choosy this hotel since it had a hot tub. Got to pool/hot tub room and the hot tub didn’t work and was very dirty. Explained to the staff the situation she said she would report it to maintenance. My wife asked about receiving a discount because of the problems we had experienced. She said to call on Monday to speak with the manager my wife thanked her and said she would call on Monday. My wife called and spoke to the manager on Monday and was informed that she could not offer any type of discount due to the fact that we booked thru hotels.com.

The internet would not connect at all. When it asked for my last name and room # to connect, it just kept saying “information doesn’t match”. I checked my reservation and it was spelled the same way. Front desk wasn’t able to troubleshoot this, which I can understand, but this was frustrating.

The location was close to my family and the freeway. The elevator waa not working. Our tv was broken. The hot water did not get hot. The heater unit did not get warm. It was terrible and I plan to write their cooperate office.

The beds were clean and comfortable. No bugs in the room. The breakfast was ok. I’ve had way better continental breakfasts, the sausage links were decent. They have a pancake machine that makes tiny pancakes that are ok at best. The location was perfect for us as we were there for an event that was only less than a mile from the hotel. When we first arrived the room floor was sticky and the trash had previous trash from whoever was in the room before us. The bathroom had hair on the floor and in the shower. I always bring my own cleaning supplies and had to clean the bathroom myself even after calling the front desk and having them send housekeeping to mop. On the second day housekeeping didn’t come at all and upon our return from an outing we were met with a paper explaining that they were short staff and housekeeping wouldn’t be servicing our room unless specifically requested if needed. I didn’t bother at that point.

It was clean and the beds/pillows were comfortable. Too noisy. We were on the first floor and could hear people coming in and out slamming doors at all hours. Early the next morning, housekeeping was banging on doors screaming “housekeeping” over and over, waking us up before we were even ready to get up, much less check out. Staff wasn’t the friendliness but they weren’t rude either.

Close to shopping and food locations. I hate the breakfast. Sausage nasty. Eggs looked good but had a funny taste. Breakfast biscuits good and Breakfast rolls good.

Staff were helpful and allowed us to change to a room that was less noisy. They also responded quickly when neighbors played very loud music at 3 am. Dirty, guest laundry machines were never working so we had to wash clothes in bathroom. Made staying there 15 days much more difficult. Floor in front of elevator dirty most days

Great hotel and the area offers multiple dining options. Comfortable accommodations and the rooms always smell good. This stay there were noisy residents in my area. The one issue I had was that the door seemed to have a gap in it that allowed hallway light to pass through. Security concerns.

Nothing to talk about Small room, no TV listing chart, no printed info in room. Very small trash cans. Coffee pot did not work. Not enough towels. Very Dry breakfast biscuits,horrible eggs, horrible tasting coffee. Overpriced items and small variety at lobby stores. The room prices were as high as places with room service, in-house restaurant, and bar and a better location.

This property was very convenient and in a really nice area. We were able to walk easily to places and there were many places we could DoorDash for if needed. There is free parking on the property and free breakfast as well.

My family very much enjoyed this hotel and would definitely stay again. The price was just right, parking easy, and the staff was very friendly. We were a bit disappointed that the breakfast was exactly the same 2 days on a row. Other than that everything was great, including the indoor pool and hot tub.

They’ve done a decent job renovating the rooms so they look current. However, you couldn’t turn the shower off, the fan in the bathroom was so loud it sounded like a jet turbine, then the AC/Heater was so noisy that it was hard to hear the TV.

I did an early check-in with no issues. For the most part staff was friendly. My room was clean and they had good breakfast. I did not like not having access to do my laundry due to it being out of service. I wished the front desk guy would have said something to me before wasting my time to go there on the 2nd floor with my laundry if it needed maintenance all along.

Did not clean the room or make up bed. Had to request towels , linen and made my own bed. Carpet not vacuumed because there was skittles on the floor when we checked in and was still there. Complained to staff one gentleman was apologetic but the manager just walked around on his cell phone . First time staying at that hotel and it’ll be my last time staying with holiday inn express.

It would have been a better rating if we didn’t have to get our keys re-carded at least two to three times a day. This was very irritating because we had go all the way back downstairs then come back up to try the key that would not work

They were in fact able to accommodate me and get me into a room several hours prior to normal check in time. The hotel was clean, quite and very near everything that I needed. I ate dinner at a local restaurant based on recommendations from the hotel staff. It was just as described - delish! I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

The front desk told us the WiFi was out and it wasn't going to be fixed till the next day so we couldn't watch tv hours later we went out side and two other rooms where watching tv we flipped threw the Chanel's and low and behold the tv worked the whole time

Only just convince.. Front desk was impolite.we booked a handicap accessible room only to find out that it wasn't.. the front desk supervisor didn't care at all won't stay here again

Got to room and bathroom door had a large kick mark in it. Room was 91 when we arrived. Air completely turned off. Went to get fan at midnight. Got cool around 2am.

When we entered it smelled great and was a nice first impression. Check-in was super easy and the lobby looked freshly cleaned. We had a room with a double and were comfortable; the A/C was great and that's always a concern with the TX heat. The beds were comfy. The restroom had full-size Dove shampoo, conditioner, body and hand wash available and was very clean. We will likely stay here if we visit Cedar Hill again.

My sole purpose of booking the hotel was the pool and I called beforehand to see if it was open. But..I guess I should’ve asked was it clean as well because the water was green/murky. Bummer! And the a/c did not work the first night but maintenance handled it. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Power outage no light on hotel, exit light inop, emergency doors inop, front doors were pried open. Half the hotel had AC half didn't. The staff could have moved us to AC rooms but claimed the computer was down due to power outage. Staff could have easily knocked on doors and moved guests but didn't. We arrived late go up late for the 4 day stay we never had any room service even though we requested it as we left for the day. Horrible service, Kym MGR was not helpful. We requested a full refund but were only given credit for one day. Awful business practices, we'll never stay at a Holliday In again!!!! That includes all of our delivery drivers
