I liked this hotel so much I have already recommended it to several close friends. The food was very good, the fish fresh, in fact we ate every dinner on the island at the restaurant. I probably should have taken the ferry into Ischia Port rather than the Casamicciola Terme for a smooth ferry to hotel transition.

Beautiful views! The food was delicious. We had breakfast and dinner included for a very reasonable price. Ocean front and pool options for a wonderful resort feel. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We didn’t want to leave!

The property was well kept, beautiful, and relaxing. The room was clean and needs met instantly. Luciano (the owner) was the first person there and the last to leave. He treated us with kindness and his staff were exceptional humans. Thank you, Viviana, for everything! They all went above and beyond in order to make our stay unforgettable! The same breakfast every morning. Maybe it’s a cultural thing?

It was a beautiful property. It was nice to get away from the crowds and just relax by the beach. The rooms were clean and the staff were so welcoming. They treated everyone like family! It was nice to eat at the restaurant every night and not worry about having to find a place to eat. We really loved everything! The room felt slightly dated but overall was really nice and large.

What an amazing stay! The staff & owner here were so responsive, helpful, and sweet. They answered all our questions and made our stay so lovely. They really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The food we had in the restaurant was so good, the tubs were amazing for soaking, they had a shuttle for hire which we used twice to the port, & they organized a scooter rental for us! We came in October and basically had the whole place to ourselves with the exception of 2 other couples. I would definitely return here and would recommend it to anyone. Rooms are nice & clean but nothing fancy and a bit older looking - totally fine for us and you really can't beat the ocean view just steps out the door! The ocean on this side of the island was too rowdy during our stay to jump in and swim in at the resort but we visited other beaches during the day and just used the hot spring tubs at night here, which were lovely (:

The staff was amazing! The lunch and dinners were very good with nightly specials. I would recommend the Octopus and Potato salad. My friends had massages and said they were excellent! The drivers, Ciro, Front desk receptionist, Viviana and waiter, Nicky, were especially good! The property was a little away from everything, which I knew when I booked, but a driver (Ciro) was always available when needed. The staff made you feel like family.

We loved our stay. The hotel helped connect us with a wonderful taxi driver to get from the ferry terminal to the property. We were greeted with a welcome drink and friendly staff that helped us get to our room. The property is gorgeous and over our 4 days we only left one time to visit Porto because we enjoyed the property so much. The restaurant food was fantastic and we loved our time there. It opened at 8pm but they would let us order drinks and watch the sunset ahead of dinner service. It was packed at the resort with day visitors, but we felt truly special as hotel guests and could not have had a better time. It was our first time to Ischia and we would absolutely visit again and stay at O' Vagnitiello. I would recommend this resort to anyone going to Ischia. It is not a dislike, but setting expectations. The resort is a bit hard to get to so you have to plan if you want to visit different parts of the island. We were looking for a relaxing beach vacation and this resort absolutely fit that bill.

The facilities offered are amazing. Direct access to the sea, with the possibility to take SUPs for free, enjoying the sun on sunbeds, and taking a bath in the thermal pools. Also, the breakfast offered is extraordinary. The staff is very helpful and kind. Somehow, we expected larger rooms and a better view. The rooms were more than ok, but slightly lower than the higher level of the whole park.

Gorgeous setting, thermal pools, family friendly, great service, delicious food. Don't know what else I could ask for.

It was an oasis! The pools, the views, the food, the staff, the privacy - everything was top notch! Nothing!! We loved every bit of it!

Nice location, bus stop near by( but with steps up), taxi min 20€ even if 5 minutes driving, beautiful territory as pictured, helpful stuff on the desk. Actually this is not a hotel, this is a beach club with rooms( around 8). Good to spend couple days, but not during the national holidays/ weekends, there are many locals and overcrowded. Small breakfast by menu, expensive restaurant( not very tasty), not clean restrooms.

An incredible hotel with amazing views and thermal pools. The staff are very welcoming and our room had all the facilities we could need. We visited outside of the main season, and we mainly had the place to ourselves - a bonus! The restaurant serves delicious food and we loved the house wine and the freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast - oh, and the tiramisu. It's a little bit of paradise, tucked away. Perfect for the start of our honeymoon! We knew it was tucked away when we booked, but it's a 10-minute uphill walk to the main road and another 5-10 minutes to the nearest supermarket etc. Taxis to the Port/ Ischia town cost €20 each way, and some won't drive all the way to the hotel, dropping you before the hill's descent. Keep this in mind for your trip. The hill kept us active!
