Quiet, clean room I booked this property by mistake. I wanted the other Holiday Inn Express in Carmel. The other was more convenient to my weekend activities. Had to Uber rather share a rental car with family.

Excellent property and helpful staff! Extensive breakfast and to-go snack options added to the value, as well.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous and professional. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have ever eaten. The only downside was the bathroom in the room had a rusted area behind the door near the floor that needed attention.

I liked everything about the hotel, except for a couple of breakfast items. The bacon and the omelettes were tasty and there was a variety of breakfast choices. My only complaint was the sausage gravy was awful and the biscuits and gravy should not be served to guests, unless the quality is significantly improved. Also, there were no hash browns or potatoes offered at breakfast.

Many defects in the building, also the building was not cleaned as a whole. Dirty stairs, hallways, and elevators. Location was pretty good for my purposes, easy to get around. Would avoid staying here again if possible.

Parking is lacking and the front desk staff seems bothered to have to do their job. I think she had her boyfriend behind the desk with her. There was someone behind the desk sitting in a chair with feet up. No Holiday Inn Express uniform. Very unprofessional.

This is always a great place to stay. Their computer system was down when we checked out, so I was unable to get a receipt for the stay and left my email to get one that way, but never did. Not a huge deal as I will get the credit card statement and a receipt was not really needed for this particular stay, but it was a little frustrating. I like to confirm the rate paid to what I reserved. We got to the hotel after 1 am and left by 10 the following morning, so not much more to say. We didn't have time to enjoy much.
