The cleaning staff was incredible. Room was very clean and extremely quiet. The lowest WiFi connectivity I’ve experienced at any location. Not for digital nomad, at all. I tried to cancel my first few hours and was told to reference the cancellation policy. The hotel was listed as “Adults only” but had a female child “working” there. (Family business) I had guests for pizza in the common area and staff came to tell me others were sleeping (before 10pm using indoor voices, outside) The conversation was a sensitive topic so I assure everyone that the volume was more than acceptable. My guests were uncomfortable and left.

Exotica was a private and quiet oasis right off the main street of Canggu. Quality boutique B&B/hotel and having a 'mini Villa' feel with really nice furnishings. The pool was beautiful and relaxing and surrounded by tropical trees and plants. The staff are great and gracious and the property is well maintained. This is Bali style. Everything was great! No dislikes...

Property was clean. We extended our stay for another day and they moved us to a room which was not as good as the one they gave is before. The bathroom size was smaller and door doesn’t get closed. On informing them about the issue they offered to reduce the price a bit. Also, it is the only place in Bali where I have paid money to keep the luggage after checking out for couple of hours. This feels like a rip off.

Location excellent walking distance to middle of Canggu. Nice and quiet but right in the middle of action .Was a bit rainy but have stayed before and enjoyed the lovely pool .Staff are great, friendly, and helpful ? Not much will stay again

As soon as we walked into the villa we were amazed with the serenity and cleanliness. The staff were so lovely and attended to all our needs with no problem. We even left clothes there accidentally and they stayed in contact with us to send them to our next location. Would 100% recommend if you’re look for a villa with good location but still quiet and relaxing. Everything was perfect!

Nothing, photos look better than reality This place was dishonest. I booked the executive double room and was given king room. I asked the staff and even spoke to the lady owner however she insisted that the prices are the same. Although i keep reiterating the prices differ in booking.com. She refused to charge me the lower price despite i asked her few times and explained to her that the prices are obviously different. The room i was given has a small bathroom, limited space shower area whereas the room i booked has a spacious bathroom (that was the whole intention why i paid more! For comfort and space!!) unless the pictures shown are not what the room should have been?! The shower door is faulty - one could not stay put and keep sliding. Of course one can say, the room they gave has a “balcony”. But it is a small space outside of the room facing a whole bunch of tree leaves. When i booked the room, it is based on what fits my own preferences in space and that is the room i paid for. Not the room they claimed they gave me, and insisted that is what i chose and paid for. Place is not exactly clean as we feel the room floor is sticky although they said they did housekeeping. Further dishonesty - they charge more than 3% additional to the price indicated, claiming it is for the bank admin charge. No where was this indicated anywhere - not in the app (before you book), not in their messages they sent you, not in the notices they put everywhere in their premise, not when they manage your check-in. They charged your bank credit card prior to your stay, then they charged upon check out. Just threw this right onto your face the moment you are leaving and we were caught totally offguard. We could have prepared more cash if we were informed prior about this 3+% bank admin charge. One more thing they did not put anywhere in the hotel policies - they dont allow you to wear your footwear into the premise - you have to remove at the main door. You are expected to lock / and unlock the main door.

My mom and I had a absolute amazing time here in Exotica. We wished we could have stayed longer. It’s located on a side street of a main road and becomes an absolute sanctuary once your away from the busy street. The owner and staff are incredibly nice and the complimentary tea or coffee were such a nice service. I loved our cosy little room and patio in front.
