Castaway Hostel

ok so the place is amazing, good WiFi, water for you to refill, you can use the little kitchen facility, the bed in the dorm was comfortable and with nice curtains, nice pool table … buut Ayuuu is the best!! this girl made amazing food, really knows how to sell in a fun way the happy hour, puts amazing music and creates a really nice vibe to make everyone in the hostel get together!! I need to go back and try her vodka mojito for sure!!! the locker is a bit small under the bed, but you can find the way to flow with it!

I had some good friends. The hostel manager laughs loudly and constantly, and the music is too loud. It’s tough to get any rest after a long day. Don’t expect an amazing experience here.

I arrived very late and was still able to check in without any problems. The place was clean, and you can grab free mineral water whenever, which is nice. The staff was friendly; they even invited me to a free dinner at the hostel, even though I had already checked out. The bed creaked a lot when I moved around on the top bunk, making me feel like I was disturbing my bunkmate. Also, the sliding doors for the room let mosquitoes in at night.

Location is nearby restaurant , gym , groceries stores, bars & not far away from the beach, clean the bed . They provided shower gel in the shower . Refill water bottles, Ice and share fridge available. To much noisy Euros / Arabic dudes that no respect others in the room or surrendering areas the first night . Lack of common sense and roommates leaving dirty underwear and pants in the towel hangs inside the bathroom , when outside they have a place for wet clothes and music from early morning to night time. If you are young and immature this will be a great place to staying in. If you wanna rest after surf , road trip or after a long night not recommended . But for 7 dollars x night knowing the culture of visitors in Canguu is understandable.

One of the best hostel I have ever stayed!! The stuff is so friendly and they do everything to make sure you have a nice stay there. Perfect for solo travelers. I have been extending my stay (as many others here) again and again. AC all day in the room, rooms are good size and the beds have curtains and are very comfortable. They have a really nice swimming pool and pool table, if you want to party this is your place, if you want to chill this is your place too, as there is not noise after 10pm. The location is perfect, close to everything on walking distance, clubs, bar, restaurants, beach, laundromat, etc. They even have free food and shots some days of the week, what else can you ask?!! Got my phone stolen at the club and they drove me to the police station and translated everything for me, then took me back to the hostel without even ask, they go above and beyond to help you. Shout out to Queen, Ayu and Yanti... you are amazing guys, made my stay in the hostel just perfect. You too Jason :) You all rock!! Nothing, this place is awesome!!

It was an amazing experience. Everything exceeded my expectations. The staff Putu Ayu are the best! The environment is wonderful. Easy to have fun and make friends. I will come back for sure. Nothing. I would be there for more days.
