The Jungle Hostel Canggu

It's quiet The aircon was turned off once and it was too hot in the room. Tons of ants, and mosquitoes. All facilities need a lot of cleaning. Common area is so dusty and toilets are dirty.

only strange thing was they wouldn't allow you to borrow cutlery you had to pay and there were many bugs but that's what comes with all the beautiful plants so was ok

Amazing stay! The staff were incredibly kind and always willing to help. They made everything so easy and comfortable. Truly great service!

Nothing! Full of mess , Everything was dirty, the bathroom and toilet were a disaster !!! Breakfast is terrible! the foam mattresses were very, very uncomfortable, the environment was very dirty, and most importantly, the refrigerator looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months.

The dorms were nice and clean with loads of space and a privacy curtain. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Out of the property, owner "Ibu The Jungle" is generous! Female reception needs to more organize and be fair.

Really good mattress

Lots of plants and it's quiet and chill. The aircon in my room wasn't working. I was in a 6 bed dorm, but there was noone staying in it. It was so hot the 2nd night I couldnt sleep. Also there's no way to lock the door. Anyone can just come in, it didn't feel very safe. When I told the staff that I barely slept because of no AC they just said sorry and did nothing. That place has a lot of potential just needs better management. There's a lot of dustiness and just in general the place needs a deep clean.

The structure of the dormitory capsule beds restricted airflow, and the AC didn’t fully reach the bed space, making it feel a bit hot. The breakfast portion was too small, with no complimentary tea/coffee or even tea bags provided. Additionally, there was no bar counter available for drinks.

Amazing staff, great setup, nice and chill place. The bathrooms in our section looked as if they weren’t cleaned or looked after for the whole duration of our stay. Very grubby

Doesn’t matter where you live, if you’re stuck in Canggu after late surf session, this is the spot to crash and hang out!

Jungle - place is maintained like a park, territory is fully planted with exotic flowers and trees, owner simulated jungle environment. Lots of dedication to the detail. Oh, breakfast included and you can chose from five options, mg favorite was banana pancakes with honey! Selection of rental motorbikes could be wider.

It’s conveniently located in the north of Pererenan and down a quiet side street. The dorms are as you would expect. Nothing fancy. The rooms are very cold and you cannot adjust the temperature. Bathrooms are not so clean and sheets have some stains but for the price, you get what you get.

i like the ambiance of the place their common restrooms, kinda small and the toilet and shower doesn’t fit together it’s hard to move inside
